Seeing such scenes, I was forced to wonder if I was always this foolish that I never wondered why those pesky spirits killed my parents or why my parents' spirits were tortured like that.
Things surely were confusing, but deep down I was wondering if I really didn't know about all this or if I chose to ignore these memories.
Soon I felt that everything was getting dizzy, and looking around, I saw some faces that were looking strangely familiar despite the fact that I had never seen them in my entire life.
Feeling this dizziness, I tried to wake up, but when I opened my eyes, I saw that Antak and others were lying around me while Imu and others were also sleeping soundly, but strangely, when I woke up, I saw that kid and Antak were staring at me in some kind of strange manner.
Seeing him looking at me, I gestured towards them, "What's the matter?" While I was lighting my cigar, seeing me getting up, they looked at each other while the kid spoke: "Well, we were waiting for you to wake up, pretty late, but didn't expect you to wake up this early!"
Hearing the words of the kid, I looked at him in a pretty sketchy manner because I could feel that they surely knew something that I didn't, but still I was wishing for it to be found out by my own bat, not from other people's lips, but rather the hands of my own, who slayed countless spirits and humans in his path for seeking the comfort.
I couldn't just betray my pain, so instead of asking them, I smiled and spoke: 'Well, how can you blame me when I still have a lot of things to do in this world!'
Hearing my words, Antak looked at the kid with a grin while Bona spoke in the same arrogant and oversmart expressions: "Well, what can we even expect from a pesky brute like this brat? He just hit everything he could; he even managed to provoke the deities that won't even budge even if it is the end of the world. So we shouldn't even expect anything nice from such a jackass!"
Hearing his words, I gave him a threatening glare while sighing and looking around.
Well, to think every moment, whenever I come out of danger, I start to feel comfortable, unlike in the past, where I just had that desire to capture and kill. In the past, I always hated my survival; I always thought that other spirit surely would be able to kill me and end my tragedy, but it never happened, and now I was turned into someone who was finding comfort from his survival and from the people around him.
So it was quite nice to be around them, but still thinking that Maya was in my past, it surely raised many questions, and I guess it was time for us to visit a VIP that surely could give us a few answers to our questions.
Thinking about these things, I stood up while smoking my cigar and spoke: "Hey, prepare for the tour; we will be leaving for China!"
Hearing my words, Antak made a weird face, while Bona spoke while looking at me: "Kid, first thing, it has Chinese, and neither of us knows Chinese, and second, how do you think we are going to reach there, by your bullock cart!"
Hearing an insult about my shiny car, my face turned dark while I looked at Antak for a proper answer.
Hearing our quarrel, Angelina and Niyomi also woke up and spoke hastily: "Brat, if you really want to go somewhere fun, why don't you go to somewhere awesome, like a hilly area or some kind of ocean? Why do you even want to go there?"
Listening to her words. I realized that women are surely born without brains; here I was thinking about meeting that creepy Maya, and these two women were telling me to go somewhere fun.
