Chapter 90 - The time for dawg to wake up!

Well, Imu and others surely were not feeling that great because neither of them thought that the spirit king would be living in that palace, and the way their faces were this long, I could anticipate how their ritual was ended. Angelina was still somewhat cheerful, while Imu and Niyomi were not that calm about the situation because I could expect that if they were pushed to this limit of terror, then the spirit king wasn't alone in that palace; there was someone else who posed more of a threat to us, and maybe I should feel blessed about the mercy that the spirit king showed in that final moment; otherwise, we would have been turned to pulp already. So it was kind of a reminder that the game was turning big, so to ease the tension among everyone, I pulled Nona's cheeks while teasing her: "Hey, stupid crackhead brat, why are you making your hot mom this worried? Do you know what happens to mature and sexy women when they get worried?" Hearing my words, everybody looked at me with a somewhat sighful gaze while Nona was cursing me for hitting on her mom right in front of her. So after messing around with them for a bit, I told Angelina, "Hey, we will be leaving that stupid palace behind, and that creep even mentioned that war will happen in the next month, so we should get something that could help us survive!" Hearing my words, she looked at me while thinking about something, and it felt like she wanted to say something but was kind of hesitant about speaking of it. So seeing her hesitation, I again started to sense a vibe of misfortune and sadness. I was feeling that I shouldn't ask her anything further because I could clearly sense that these bastards were just gods of misfortune; not a single one of them had a tiny bit of fortune on his side, and just as I was about to tell her to leave that thought behind, I sensed Bona on my side while speaking: 'You know what she means, so don't play dumb. You can't just keep holding that senior for much longer, and you know that. The war will require him, and no matter what happens, we have to take him out, the person who was praised for his psychonature of craftsmanship and his ability to create things that even gods feel jealous about him!" Hearing his words, I realized another reason for not hating this creep: his foul mouth. The bastard just kept spouting every bit of bullshit in his mind; he didn't even know that motherfucker. He was a complete psycho in terms of curiosity, and his abilities were so insane that I never even thought about releasing him even for a bit. That motherfucker was serious trouble; he just knew creation, and he could go to any lengths to achieve the materials and results he wanted. The creep that I captured after Angelina and before Bona. He was a walking laboratory, and the things I saw at that palace only reminded me of him. That maniac had all sorts of crazy ideas in his mind, and that was the only reason I never unleashed him, and now these assholes were telling me to unleash him. Antak was also not in favor of waking another creep, because one creep was more than enough for them to have a headache, and every day all sorts of creeps were popping out of nowhere. So I tried my best to buzz them off from this thought and took the car to the hotel for everybody to rest. Well, due to a lack of water, this entire state had mainly no trees, so we were feeling like it was an open land, but in our area, we had quite a few forests, so whenever we went out, we always encountered spirits on our road trip, but this area is way too dry for anything to even exist, and everyone was quite tired, so I can't even ask Antak to do something fun for me, and strangely, despite all this mess and broken ribs, I was feeling somewhat bored. Guess surviving like this isn't even my thing; I always either won the brawl or was crushed to death by opponents. Seeing my face, the kid put his hand around my shoulder and spoke: "Kid, I know this feeling is quite uncomfortable for a blockhead like you, but still think about it in a positive manner that we all survived, and you know what else was there? So don't make this face. Even I also tried my best to not notice them, but those creeps were surely not easy to ignore, the knights of the Spirit King!" Hearing his words, I looked at him in a sighful manner because these creeps kept giving me misfortunes—first this entire fucked-up war, then hearing that Goddess Kali will be joining that war, and now seeing this stupid 'Yanma' king was also itching to kick my ass with his fucked-up knights. Sometimes I wonder if this world even deserves to exist. Well, soon after getting to the room, we all lay down while Imu and Nona, of course, took the bed while we were taking the floor, and this creepy ass Nona was making sure that I wouldn't be sneaking on Imu, and I was not even in the mood of perving on her because my ribs were still aching while Kid and others were also accompanying me in sleeping around me while we all had terror in our eyes. Despite this rowdy nature, we had a thought about what if we didn't even survive the first phase of the war and our lives would be turned into such a punching bag or a plaything for other species that we might not even be able to die, just left to endure the pain till the time someone comes and saves us from the trouble. These thoughts surely were kind of scary; even the kid, who was a divine spear, was not at ease whenever we talked about war, so it was clear that he also couldn't assure us about victory and the terror about meeting other people of the same caliber as goddess Kali; it was surely frightening.
