In less than two to three minutes, dozens of pirates were already sprawled across the deck—thirty, maybe forty men groaning in pain. That was nearly half the crew. For two minutes straight, they had tried everything: attacking from the sides, rushing from blind spots, attempting sneak attacks. But nothing worked. Gojo's movements were too sharp, too fast, too precise—he reacted as if he had eyes on every side of his head.
To the pirates, it wasn't a fight. It was slaughter.
When the remaining crew saw half their comrades lying defeated at Gojo's feet, fear spread through them like wildfire. Their grips trembled, and none of them dared to charge him anymore.
Gojo clicked his tongue and rolled his eyes. "You all truly are useless."
With that, he calmly sheathed his sword on his back. Then he raised his right hand, pressing his index and middle finger together. A bead of shimmering blue energy flickered to life—Limitless: Blue.
The orb of blue expanded quickly, swirling with a violent gravitational pull. Soon it was the size of a football, then even larger, humming with power. As it drifted across the deck, the wooden boards splintered beneath it, warping and tearing apart.
Pirates screamed as they were pulled off their feet—some flung violently across the ship, others dragged straight toward the blue. Those who were pulled into the core were crushed instantly, turned into paste by the overwhelming force. Even the wooden fragments torn from the deck spiralled inward, shredded as they were dragged into the singularity.
The entire ship groaned under the destructive pull as Blue continued ripping through it, leaving chaos in its wake.
Gojo didn't stop there. His body rose effortlessly into the air again, hovering above the wreckage. With a small gesture of his hand, he guided Blue forward. The orb streaked through the air like a living force of destruction, slamming into the next ship in its path. The deck split apart, wood shrieking as it warped inward before collapsing entirely. Another ship began sinking within seconds.
And he kept going.
Floating above the fleet like an executioner descending upon the guilty, Gojo directed the Blue from ship to ship. One after another, vessels were crushed, torn open, or pulled apart. In mere minutes, almost ten ships had fallen—splintering, breaking, sinking into the dark waves.
The chaos finally reached the most magnificent and heavily armed ship in the fleet—the flagship of the Krieg Pirates. Captain Krieg himself, along with his officers, stormed onto the deck. Their expressions twisted with a mixture of rage and fear.
They were furious—but more than that, terrified. In such a short time, this lone boy had destroyed over ten of their ships… and he wasn't slowing down. That glowing blue sphere drifting across the sea looked less like an attack and more like a roaming death sentence, claiming every vessel it touched.
One of Krieg's officers, Ideaman, snapped first. Face red with fury, he screamed, "How dare you destroy so many of our ships, you bastard!?"
He immediately pulled out his gun and fired multiple shots at Gojo.
Gojo sensed the bullets cutting through the air toward him—but he made no move to dodge. No need.
Just inches from his body, every bullet froze midair, suspended as if time itself had halted. They trembled in place, unable to close the remaining distance to him.
Gojo simply floated there, untouched, the bullets hanging before him like powerless insects.
Seeing the bullets suspended in midair, Ideaman—furious only seconds ago—went pale with shock. The reality finally sank into every pirate's mind: the young man floating above them wasn't ordinary. He had to be a Devil Fruit user… a terrifying one.
But before they could fully process the threat, Gojo suddenly vanished.
A heartbeat later, a calm voice sounded behind them. "Where are you looking?"
Every major member of the Krieg Pirates jerked around in alarm—Krieg himself, Gin, Pearl, Ideaman, and the surrounding crew all whipped their heads toward the source of the voice.
But Ideaman didn't even get a full glance.
A blade flashed.
Gojo's sword, already drawn, sliced cleanly across Ideaman's neck. Blood erupted in a sharp fountain, splattering across the deck. Ideaman collapsed instantly, eyes wide with unwillingness, dying before his body even fully hit the floorboards.
Krieg, Gin, Pearl, and the remaining pirates reacted on instinct and terror. Guns flew into their hands, and the next second the entire ship exploded with sound—an eruption of nonstop gunfire that drowned out even the crashing waves. Bullets filled the air like a storm aimed at a single target.
Gojo didn't move.
When their ammo finally ran dry, the pirates' frantic firing sputtered to silence. Breathless and sweating, they stared ahead—only to find that every bullet they had fired was frozen a few inches away from Gojo's body. Not a single one had touched him.
Let alone pierced him.
After seeing that none of the bullets had even touched Gojo, it became clear to everyone — firing at him was completely useless. Krieg gritted his teeth and barked out an order to his officers.
"If bullets don't work, then attack him directly! Engage in melee!"
The moment the words left Krieg's mouth, Gin lunged forward. His weighted tonfa — metal spheres gleaming at the ends — whirled as he struck. Gojo met the blow with his sword. Steel clashed against steel, sparks bursting from the impact. The force of the strike pushed Gojo back several steps across the deck.
Seeing Gojo being forced backward, Krieg's confidence surged back into him. The doubt in his eyes dimmed. "So his ability works only on gunfire," he declared loudly. "Beat him in close combat! Take him down in melee!"
His superiority complex returned instantly.
But the truth was far from what Krieg imagined.
Gojo hadn't been pushed back because Gin overpowered him — he had let himself slide backward intentionally. I needed a bit of distance, Gojo thought calmly. Now I can end it cleanly.
In the very next second, he vanished.
One moment he was steps away from Gin. The next, he was standing behind him. A few drops of blood slid from the tip of Gojo's blade, falling onto the deck.
A diagonal slash opened across Gin's chest. Blood burst out, and Gin collapsed immediately, defeated in a single, clean strike.
Pearl didn't even glance at Gin's fallen body. Enraged, he rushed forward, shouting, "Your sword can't cut through me!"
He threw a full-force punch at Gojo — but the strike never landed. His fist stopped mere inches in front of Gojo, frozen in place as if hitting an invisible wall. Every ounce of force he put into the punch evaporated uselessly.
Gojo chuckled softly. "You're bragging about this flimsy defense? Fine… let's test it."
He swung his sword in a simple horizontal slash.
Pearl's massive shield split cleanly in two, falling apart like sliced paper. A matching horizontal wound opened across Pearl's torso. Blood spurted, and Pearl toppled backward onto the deck, defeated as easily as Gin.
Now only one man remained.
Krieg — shirt removed, showing off his shiny golden armor and sweeping black cape — stepped forward, glaring at Gojo with fury boiling in his eyes.
