The streets of Sokovia were far less welcoming than those of other major cities. The people here seemed especially cold and distant.
There was, however, one small advantage—Eastern Europe had an abundance of beautiful women.
From eighteen-year-olds to mothers in their thirties, beauty could be seen everywhere.
People in this region were naturally good-looking. Fortunately, Xu Dan himself wasn't bad either—otherwise, standing here would have been somewhat embarrassing.
Even so, no matter how many beautiful women walked the streets, Xu Dan did not stop.
Women… were all the same to him.
His true goal was the Scarlet Witch.
He could not find Wanda anywhere in the city, so he followed the vague image in his memory and headed toward a Hydra base near Sokovia.

Without Loki's scepter to help them develop advanced weapons, Hydra was still relying on M4 rifles and outdated military equipment.
What threat could such garbage pose to him?
Perhaps these weapons had once been powerful.
But times had changed.

"Kill him. Send him to God."
"Wait… doesn't he look like Xu Dan? The richest man in the world?"
"Are you stupid? Why would someone like Xu Dan come to a place like this?"
"Alright then. Kill him. Who's firing?"

He couldn't help but feel a little regret.

Soon, the Hydra soldiers finished aiming.
They pulled the triggers.

A dense storm of bullets rushed toward Xu Dan.

A thin wall of wind appeared in front of him.
The bullets struck it and stopped instantly, suspended in place, unable to advance even an inch.
The Hydra soldiers froze in shock.
What was this?!
But as terrorists, they were not easily intimidated.
They fired again.
This time, even the soldiers on his flanks joined in, creating a crossfire designed to trap him.
The wind shield could only block attacks from one direction. Remaining still would leave him exposed.
The bullets themselves posed no real threat to him.
But his clothes did.
If he stood there, his clothes would be shredded instantly, leaving him in humiliating tatters.
Xu Dan chose to move.
His body blurred into a shadow.
In an instant, he appeared beside the nearest Hydra soldier.
He had originally intended to hold back.
But now, he changed his mind.
His leg lashed out violently.
This was the move—
Raptor Tail Swing.
Boom!
The first soldier was struck and sent flying.
His body slammed into the soldiers behind him, sending them crashing together like dominoes.
Bones shattered.
Bodies collapsed.
In a single kick, an entire squad was wiped out.
The remaining Hydra soldiers stared in horror.
Their comrades had been killed instantly.
When they looked at Xu Dan's cold, emotionless eyes, terror overwhelmed them.
This was not a human.
This was a monster.
No one dared speak.
No one dared move.
They could only watch helplessly as Xu Dan continued up the mountain.
Meanwhile, they secretly transmitted an alert to the base.

When Xu Dan advanced further, he realized those soldiers had only been cannon fodder.
Soon, he encountered the real defensive force.
Heavy weapons.
Cannons.
Rocket launchers.
RPGs.
Explosives rained toward him.
Unlike rifles, these weapons posed an actual threat.
Xu Dan did not intend to take artillery fire head-on.
Even if it didn't kill him, it would leave him covered in soot and ruin his appearance.
That was unacceptable.
Golden light suddenly flared beneath his feet.
Divine power awakened.
His speed increased dramatically.
Each step left glowing golden footprints on the ground.
This was the power of the Divine Fist.
Originally, he didn't consider these enemies worthy of such power.
But they had dared to attack him with artillery.
They had chosen death.
