Chapter 92 - Chapter 92 — Yin Lie’s Unstable Surge (He Breaks Reality)

The moment Yin Lie whispered Sniper's name—

the air inside the shed froze.

Not "cold."

Not "winter."

This was something different.

Something wrong.

Sand turned white instantly.

Metal cracked with tiny screams.

The shed walls glittered with thin sheets of ice, spreading like spiderwebs.

And Yin Lie—

his body shook like he was fighting something inside him.

Something too big.

Too loud.

Too powerful.

Qin Mian felt his temperature drop through her arms.

"Lie… Lie, look at me!"

His eyes opened.

Both.

And they were glowing.

The left eye—ice blue, sharp as a blade.

The right eye—fractured geometry spinning like an alien star.

Two powers.

No—

three powers blending, crashing, fighting each other.

Kai stepped back, her breath shaking.

"Oh no… he's going into a Trinity Surge…"

Chen Gu looked terrified.

"That will… that will tear open space itself! His nervous system can't handle that!"

Thorne woke up from fainting just to scream:

"WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE—!!"

Kai kicked him unconscious again.

"Not now!"

The Surge Begins

Yin Lie's body arched backward.

A sound came out of him—

not a scream,

not a cry,

but something deep and painful.

Like a wild animal being pulled apart by invisible hands.

The ice beneath him cracked outward.

Blue veins of frost shot across the floor in all directions.

Qin Mian held his face.

"Lie! You can hear me. I know you can.

Listen—listen to my voice!"

His breath stuttered, uneven.

"…I… couldn't save her…"

Qin Mian's heart twisted painfully.

"She chose to save you.

She chose it.

Don't break because of her!"

But he wasn't listening anymore.

He was drowning inside a storm.

Sniper's death.

The Crawlers.

The hunters.

His own weakness.

His broken body.

It all collapsed at once.

His powers tore open.

Reality Cracks

The air bent—

literally bent.

Like someone grabbed reality and twisted it.

Lines of light broke across the shed, jagged and sharp, like cracks in glass.

The Keystone energy seeped through those cracks, glowing bright white.

Kai shielded her face with her arm.

"What the hell—?! This isn't ice, this isn't wolf power—this is—!"

Chen Gu finished, voice shaking:

"This is spacetime distortion. The Keystone side of him is reacting to emotional collapse!"

Qin Mian felt Yin Lie's body heating and freezing at the same time.

Ice spread from his left hand.

Wolf-fire shimmered from his spine.

Geometric light spiraled around his right arm.

It was beautiful.

And terrifying.

His heartbeat sounded like thunder inside his chest.

BOOM.

The shed shook.

BOOM.

A crack ripped through the air.

BOOM.

Reality itself shivered.

Kai's eyes widened.

"He's going to tear a hole open—

if he does that, ANYTHING could come through—

or we all get erased—!!"

Chen Gu grabbed Kai's sleeve.

"We have to stop him! OR we have to run—"

"No."

Qin Mian's voice cut through the chaos.

She held Yin Lie's face, pressing her forehead to his.

Her voice shook, but she didn't run.

"I'm not leaving him."

The world cracked again.

A piece of the shed wall floated upward—

not falling—

floating, like gravity forgot it existed.

Thorne looked at it and fainted again.

Yin Lie's Mind Breaks Further

Yin Lie suddenly grabbed Qin Mian's wrist with shocking strength.

His fingers were ice-cold.

His voice was desperate:

"…don't disappear…"

Her eyes blurred with tears.

"I'm right here."

"…don't leave…"

"I won't."

"…don't… die…"

"I won't," she whispered, even though she wasn't sure.

He wasn't talking to her.

Not really.

He was talking to Sniper.

To his mentor Chen Gu almost lost once.

To every person he thought he failed.

Kai realized it too.

"He's having a collapse. His mind thinks everything he loves is dying all over again. He's reliving every loss."

Chen Gu swallowed.

"His powers respond to emotion. This level of grief—

It's a trigger.

A full break."

Outside, the Type-B Hunters stopped moving.

Even they sensed the danger.

It Gets Worse

For a moment—

everything became silent.

Silent in a way that felt wrong.

Like the world was holding its breath.

Then Yin Lie's voice came out cracked, broken:

"…I'm tired…"

"Lie—"

"…I'm tired of watching people die…"

Qin Mian grabbed his face harder.

"Don't say that—don't—"

He didn't hear.

"…I break everything…

Everyone near me gets hurt…

I don't want that anymore…"

Qin Mian's tears fell faster.

"You don't break everything—

You saved me—

You saved Kai—

You saved all of us—

Lie, look at me—!"

But his eyes were unfocused.

Lost.

He whispered:

"…maybe the world is better… without—"

"NO!"

Qin Mian's shout cracked through the distortion.

The cracking lines in the air flickered.

"Lie—listen—

You are not a weapon.

You are not a disaster.

You're the person who held my hand when I could not stand.

You're the person who protected me even when you were dying."

Her voice broke completely.

"You're the only person I trust."

Something changed in his eyes.

A faint light.

A tiny spark.

"…Mian…"

"Yes—yes, I'm here!"

He reached for her face.

But before he could touch—

the Trinity powers inside him collided violently.

BOOOOOOOM—!!!!!!

A shockwave burst outward.

Ice.

Fire.

Light.

Sound.

Kai was thrown back against a pillar.

Chen Gu crashed into a wall.

The shed roof ripped open.

Metal flew into the night sky.

The world turned white-blue-black all at once.

And in the center—

Yin Lie floated upward, unconscious, suspended by his own power.

The air around him twisted like a whirlpool.

Cracks in reality widened, bleeding light.

Qin Mian pushed herself up, coughing, crying, terrified.

"LIE—!!"

But he was out of reach.

Out of control.

Out of himself.

Kai's voice was faint over the roaring energy:

"He's… breaking the dimension—!!"

Chen Gu whispered:

"…this isn't a surge anymore. This is a rift."

Qin Mian forced her body forward through the wind and frost.

She screamed:

"LIE!!

COME BACK!!

COME BACK TO ME!!"

Her voice reached him.

Barely.

His eyes flickered.

He whispered, almost silent:

"…Mian…?"

And then—

everything collapsed inward.

Reality shattered like glass.

And darkness swallowed them all.
