The main briefing room of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, a bastion of global defense, hummed with contained power. The atmosphere was taut, a reflection of the week's seismic events.
Director Nick Fury Jr. stood at the head of a gleaming holographic table, his lone eye scanning the assembled might of the Avengers. Around the table sat Captain America, his posture resolute; Natasha Romanova (Black Widow), ever vigilant and poised; Tony Stark (Iron Man), still in his suit, his faceplate retracted, a sarcastic comment perpetually on his lips; Dr. Hank Pym (Ant-Man), fidgeting slightly, his genius brain already on overload from the recent cosmic revelations; Thor, Mjolnir resting beside him, his expression one of stoic concern; and Dr. Bruce Banner, surprisingly calm, though the air around him felt subtly charged.
Janet van Dyne (Wasp) had just excused herself to the lavatory a moment before. A large holographic screen projected the UN logo, indicating the broadcast that had just concluded, detailing renewed efforts for unity after the Union Square incident.
NICK FURY JR. (His voice, a low gravel, commanded immediate silence): "Alright, listen up. The UN broadcast just concluded. While the world's leaders reaffirmed their commitment to unity after the Union Square incident, it's clear the scars from that bigotry run deep.
Our job, more than ever, is to lead by example. To show them that we stand united, against threats both terrestrial and... now, clearly, cosmic."
Tony Stark, ever quick to quip, but with a surprising edge of bitterness in his voice, interjected.
TONY STARK (Arms crossed, a cynical smirk playing on his lips): "Oh, 'unity,' huh? You mean after that circus in Union Square? Let's be honest, Fury. While he gave us the 'truth,' he also gave those anti-Meta-human bigots a very public, very graphic reason to blame us.
He practically validated their narrative! He knew what he was doing. He just made our lives ten times harder. Now every idiot with a rotten tomato thinks we're the problem, not the actual shapeshifting aliens!"
Thor, usually patient, rumbled with a warning.
Thor "Stark! The man chose restraint!"
BRUCE BANNER (His voice calm, but with a visible tremor of discomfort): "He's right, Tony. That incident... it's a test for all of us. But it's about humanity's capacity for fear, not about Enigma's responsibility. The blame lies with those who choose hatred."
NICK FURY JR. (Cutting them off, his lone eye narrowed): "Enough! The blame game changes nothing. What matters is what we do now. Our priority remains the Skrull infiltration. We've got Scientists's teams on overdrive trying to replicate Enigma's psychic detection.
And the UN Space Defense Initiative is moving forward, with our input being paramount. We need every one of you, your powers, your minds, focused. We're about to be plunged into a galaxy that sees us as fodder.
We can't afford internal squabbles."
CAPTAIN AMERICA (Nodding firmly, his gaze resolute): "He's right. The enemy is out there. We protect those who cannot protect themselves, and we show humanity what true courage and unity look like."

Just as Captain America finished speaking, a familiar, unsettling hum vibrated through the Helicarrier's advanced superstructure. It was the same sound Reed Richards had reported earlier from the Baxter Building.
Simultaneously, every active sensor panel in the briefing room flared red, displaying
"UNKNOWN ENERGY SIGNATURE! DIMENSIONAL ANOMALY DETECTED!"
Fury's lone eye widened, a flicker of true fear in its depths.
Nick Fury "What in the—"
Before he could finish, a swirling, vibrant portal of purple and blue energy materialized directly in the center of the briefing table, crackling with an otherworldly power.
From within it, stepped the same figure who had just decimated the Fantastic Four: Kang the Conqueror, resplendent and terrifying in his advanced, angular armor.
His helmeted gaze swept over the Avengers, a chilling aura of absolute, cold authority radiating from him. He held the same glowing, intricate device in his gloved hand.
TONY STARK (His eyes, his armored hand instinctively reaching for his repulsor but frozen): "Wh—"
But Kang offered no words, no explanations. With a swift, almost imperceptible flick of his wrist, the glowing device pulsed. A wave of unique, advanced technology, a shimmering distortion of purple energy, washed over the assembled heroes.
Just as it had with the Fantastic Four, it bypassed their powers, their defenses, their very will to move. Captain America froze mid-turn, his shield arm rigid.
Black Widow, halfway to drawing her pistols, became a statue. Iron Man's repulsors, just powering up, died out. Hank Pym, shrinking slightly, was fixed in mid-transformation.
Thor's mighty Mjolnir, moments from being summoned, remained inert beside him. Bruce Banner, feeling the familiar internal shift, found the Hulk's rage suddenly, terrifyingly, still.
They were all utterly, completely subdued, frozen in place, their eyes wide with helpless shock. Kang, without a wasted motion, then extended his hand.
Six small, metallic discs, glowing with the same purple and blue energy, shot forward. They expanded just enough to encompass each Avenger – Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man, Thor, Bruce and Hank Pym – and then swiftly contracted, trapping them within their confines.
The discs were disturbingly small, yet somehow held the full forms of the heroes within.
NICK FURY JR. (His voice a strangled gasp, utterly powerless, watching the impossible unfold before his eye): "What... what are you?! What have you done?!"
Kang turned his cold, helmeted gaze to Fury, a chilling, silent acknowledgment of his presence. Then, with a final, dismissive glance at the Helicarrier's now-empty briefing room (save for the still-frozen Fury), Kang stepped back into his shimmering portal.
The purple and blue energies pulsed violently, then winked out of existence, leaving behind an echoing silence and the scent of ozone. The Helicarrier's alarms began to blare, a chaotic cacophony.
NICK FURY JR. (Stunned, trembling with rage and terror, alone in the room): "Avengers! Avengers! Report! Status! Janet! Wasp! Respond!"
His voice was hoarse, filled with a desperate, dawning realization. The greatest superhero team on Earth, subdued and taken in a matter of minutes.
By a single, unknown entity. In front of him. Except for Janet.(Just then, the door to the briefing room burst open, and Janet van Dyne, the Wasp, flew in, still shrinking from her full height, her face etched with alarm from the blaring alarms.)
WASP (Her voice high-pitched with alarm): "Fury! What happened?! The alarms! I heard a— My God! Where is everyone?!"
She stopped dead, staring at the empty table, the shimmering residue on the floor, and Fury's horrified face.
NICK FURY JR. (His face a mask of utter defeat and grim resolve): "We just met him, Janet. The new player on the cosmic stage. And he just took the Avengers. And we didn't even see it coming."

Fury Jr and Wasp were standing still after seeing the replay of the event. The abduction of the Avengers!
Wasp" You got to be kidding me?!"
At that time, a familiar light green swirling portal appeared in the conference room and Enigma came out. Seeing him, Fury Jr was tensed but Wasp's eyes widened.
Wasp" Enigma! Thank God! Listen, you won't believe but...."
Enigma" A strange guy in purple and blue armour arrived here with unique and advanced technology. Then, he stunned and abducted the Avengers in a matter of seconds."
Wasp and Fury Jr's eyes widened.
Wasp" How..."
Enigma " That guy is moving with quantum mechanics. Yes, he was doing it with his armour. As for how, I know about him. This is the second place he appeared today.
This late morning, he had appeared in the Baxter building and abducted the Fantastic Four just like the Avengers."
Their eyes widened.
Both" WHAT?!"
Nodding...
Enigma" When I appeared there, he was already gone. I had felt a Quantum anomaly in my base's scan. Reaching there, I checked Reed's system and found the footage same as here."
Fury Jr" Any idea about our abductor?"
He inquired about the abduction.
Enigma " Not yet. Who ever he was, he came prepared. But Wasp was lucky."
With a scrunched look...
Wasp" I didn't know toilet was luck."
Enigma " I came here to give you the details. Now, I am going back to locate him by scanning the footage."
He turned around and a portal appeared.
Wasp " Can I come? I am not smart but..."
Enigma " I can understand. You are worried about your husband. You can come even Fury too if he wants to."
Saying that he went into the portal. Wasp and Fury Jr, who were astonished upon this invitation followed behind him. And the portal vanished.

Both Wasp and Fury entered a room made with some matte black metal. With light green lights and green circuit lines spread around. The said room was quite big like a hall with many advanced machines.
There were some robots too. Wasp and Fury Jr for few seconds were taking the entire place in their eyes. Earlier with awe, later with calculated look.
It was pretty obvious that this place was high tech. Enigma standing before a wardrobe size super computer was typing fast on the keyboard.
Both quickly moved towards him. During this, Fury Jr tried to bug this base and contacted his base.
Fury Jr " Report! Agent! Report!"
Enigma " I only allow you two to come here, Fury. And your comlink and that bug are useless here."
A robot returned the monitoring device to Fury Jr which he threw around earlier. He took them back with a frown. He went towards Enigma and Wasp, who was standing close to him.
Fury Jr " So, anything about our new mystery person?"
Enigma" Not anymore. He's using metals, alloys and technologies of different planets and of different realities."
Fury Jr stopped looking at the still footage of armoured man with bubbles of strange languages around him.
Wasp " Are those alien languages?"
Enigma " Yes."
He confirmed.
Fury Jr" Of course, you will know them. You were roaming around in the universe."
Enigma didn't reply and continue giving commands on keyboard. The said languages were not part of system. He just wrote it in the system with his omni-lingual power.

Wasp POV
It's been a while since I was in his base with Fury. Right now, I was sitting on a chair sipping some juice. Hmm, it was good! Fury was also sitting on a chair behind Enigma.
But Enigma, he was still working on his super computer. His fingers were a blur. This thing must be beyond high tech. After some moments, he stopped and turned around.
Enigma " For now, I have a profile. He's someone from 31st century! Who has accumulated a lot of tech and materials to make his suit. Which represents his intelligence!
But the question is what Fantastic Four and Avengers did to him or his line of predecessors."
Wasp" Can you explain....more simply?"
I said sheepishly. Nodding...
Enigma" Consider him a great grandkid of a super villain, who was humiliated by either or both Fantastic Four and Avengers at a same time."
Huh?!
Fury Jr" So, in other words, we are dealing with a descendant of some asshole in our timeline."
Enigma" Correct."
Wait?! That's IT?!
Wasp" Guys! What about Hank and others?!"
Enigma " Don't worry. He's probably going to humiliate them publicly somewhere on Earth in the current time. He will probably appear on a specific place or near his predecessor."
Huh?!!
Wasp" So, he's just going to appear with them as trophies like. Hey, great grandfather! Hope you like my gift! Are you serious?!!"
I said stomping on the floor.
Enigma" Yes. But it will help us know his lineage. Besides there are already few candidates."
Fury Jr" But Doom is most problematic to handle."
At that time, an alarm was sounded. It wasn't like Shield helicarrier or HQ. It was great?!
Wasp " What's going on?!"
Enigma " I had marked some locations. One of those is picking up his arrival."
Fury Jr" Where?!"
He said coming to the screen like me.
Enigma" UN assembly."
What?! Mine's and Fury's eyes widened.

On his Super computer, we saw the shitty guy appeared in the UN assembly. Then, a huge purple energy came out of him. Another video link opened and showed the entire building in a purple forcefield.
It was broadcasted live on the global media but both Enigma and Fury were calm?! I saw useless attempts of police, some army squad and Shield agents to penetrate the bubble.
Wasp" That's IT! Let's get this guy!"
I said striking a pose. But they were not moving?!
Wasp " What's wrong?! What the wait?!"
I shouted with my C-cup breasts bouncing in my sleeveless and backless suit.
Fury Jr " He's alone."
Enigma " We need to wait until he brought others out and for him to explain his motives."
Huh?!
Wasp" So, you two are waiting for his monologue?!"
Fury Jr" Yes."
He confirmed.
Enigma" I am also planning."

That shitty guy was gaining attention, all attempts were useless to stop him because everyone could not move. They could only speak.
President Al Nasser " What's going on?! Who are you?! What's the meaning of this?!"
Man, that Arabian was gutsy. But the shitty guy didn't reply. Instead, he threw those discs which turned into cylinders with Fantastic Four and Avengers inside of them!
Gasps!
Kang" I am called Kang the conqueror. I have come from 31st century."
Everyone was baffled. Then, he turned towards stunned Reed, Tony and Hank?!
Wasp" Wait?! Was he after these three?!"
Fury Jr " Most likely. Those three are smartest men in our world at this time."
Enigma was quiet. Then, the shitty guy did something and Hank and other two could speak.
Reed " Who are you?!"
Tony " Why are you here?!"
He demanded.
Hank" What do you have against us?!"
As expected, Hank question was better.
Kang" First, I will give your answer or should I say stepbrother?"
Huh?! His helmet turned into liquids and mix with his suit?!
Fury " What..."
Enigma " Nanites."
Reed was astonished. He looked like Reed's father!
Reed " How?! How do you look like my late father?!"
Kang" Wrong. Our late father."
Then, he showed a hologram. In which his father was with a brunette in future?! Who was a descendant of DR DOOM!!!! WHAT THE FUCK?!!!
Kang " Don't be surprised, step brother. Our father didn't die in that quantum experiment of yours. Instead, he came in future and unknowingly met my mother.
Resulting in me, but after a time his body disintegrated. Mother raised me alone. I always ask her that why we were living simple. When we were smart to do more."
And you turned evil.
Reed" She wasn't like Doom?! You should honour her ideals!"
Tony" That's, you are asking. I thought you will be disgusted about your dad fucking her!"

Kang" After she passed away, I found some records, tech and other stuff of my ancestor hid by her. So, I decided to become something else. I used the tech to gather materials and tech to conquer my timeline as Kang the Conqueror!"

Tony" That's rare."
Hank" You are disgracing your mother's ideals!"
Yeah. Kang's helmet came back like water.
Kang" One of the reasons of me coming here was seeing the three heroes, who are inevitably going to die. You guys."
WHAT?!
Reed" Us?!"
Kang" According to official records, stepbrother, you died in an explosion when your flat was destroyed. It happened after yours and Susan's divorce and disbandment of Fantastic Four."
WHAT?! Wait? Why was I happy that Susan leave him?
Reed" You are lying!!"
Tony " Oy! What about me?!"
He demanded.
Kang" You also died in an explosion with your armours. "

Kang" As for Hank Pym, you died by your own technology."

Even Human Torch, who was like a cosmic torch due to becoming a cosmic being in the future, can't come to Earth due to his immense heat."

Enigma" Well, we might have passed away ages ago."
Fury Jr" I don't think so."
Huh?
Kang" Even though Thing was alive but was useless against me. As for Susan, who was given eternal youth by her descendant also lose.. At that time, I won. But..."

Tony" What?"
Trembling, Kang roared.
Kang " The cosmic beings sent someone, who was retired long ago! Who was exploring the multiverse alone. They called HIM! Enigma! And I...I lost!"
I turned towards Enigma. His mask's razor eyes were narrowed?!
Fury Jr " I was right about you being an immortal."
Enigma" I know that I will live longer but... Well, at least, my retirement plan is same."
Wait?! You had already planned a multiverse traveling!!
Reed" Enigma?! You abducted us as a bait for him?!!"
Well, I felt bad too...
Kang" Yes, he's an immortal being in my time with unlimited powers! Even though he retired long ago, cosmic beings allowed him on only one condition. "
Tony" That he will be called like an elite to lecture."
More like a last resort....
Kang" Yes and all my tech was useless against his powers! So...so. I retreated in time stream to kill him at his weak point. But.... this was the only point!"

Fury Jr" What's he talking about?"
Enigma " Consider time stream a road with check points."
He explained to us.
Kang" So, I went to seek advice."
Huh?!
Enigma " Alternate realities."
Kang" I went to multiverse and met my many versions. Who were all evil like me."
Woah!
Hank" All of them?!"
He nodded.
Kang" Yes. They told me that single point means, I will die. Because I didn't appear anywhere. So, I ask help. They only gave me Their tech. It made me more powerful! Hahahahaha!"
At that point, Kang started laughing while arching backwards. Suddenly, we saw Enigma appearing on screen! With a palm strike, he almost destroyed his suit and stunned him.
There was a portal on screen! I turned around and saw the portal. Enigma probably went really faster from his chair. But neither me nor Fury felt him move.
Fury Jr " Let's go."
I nodded and shrunk up to fly towards the portal. Fury was behind me. When we came out, Enigma was nothing but after images! Multiple holograms with different alien languages were surrounding the stunned Kang.
Those words were changing rapidly....He was reprogramming Kang's suit! Kang was suspended in air. Probably, telekinesis. After some moments, Enigma stopped.
He tore a rectangular device from Kang's suit.
Enigma " You only have few seconds but listen. The only reason, it's your only appearance point is because you are going to be swimming eternally in the time stream!"
A purple portal appeared and Enigma shot him inside. Then, he obliterated his device by applying force. I turned around and saw a serious Fury. Portal was gone and Hank!
Wasp " Enigma..."
Before I said something, he blurred around with multiple pops sounds before me. Everyone was free and the discs holding them were gone. I flew towards Hank growing up and hugged him!
He hugged me too.
President Al Nasser " Enigma, please wait!"
Huh?! I turned around while seeing everyone hugging or talking to each other. Who also turned around to see Enigma stopped near his portal. Wait?! He's leaving already?!
Enigma looked towards the President Al Nasser, who was looking at him. Now that I noticed, everyone was able to move. Even Shield agents were coming inside.
Fury gestured them to avoid Enigma. Well, he saved the day.
President Al Nasser " Please accept our gratitude for saving us and can we talk?"
Enigma still looking towards President Al Nasser.
Enigma " I might when UN assembly actually do something for Meta humans!"
After saying that he went into his portal.

Elena was bringing the prepared breakfast on the dinning table in the dinning area. While Leif was dragging Liz here for breakfast.
Liz" But Leif, I think, I should read some more. I think, left something. We are having midterm early as a test or experiment on us like guinea pigs."
Leif" Nope, it's just a thought. Plus, you should not be thinking about these things. You have worked hard and now, you should relax."
He made her sit and sat besides her on a chair.
Elena " He's right, Mija! You were working really hard! Now, you should relax and enjoy the breakfast."
Liz" But..."
Cutting her words...
Leif" No. Here, eat."
He said bringing a spoon of their breakfast. After looking at it some moments along his face, Liz opened her mouth with red face.
Elena " Oh my~"
Hearing this, Liz's face reddened but she didn't stop Leif from further feeding her. She even feed him too. After breakfast, they were leaving.
Liz" Mum, wish me luck!"
Elena " Of course but you already have plenty~"
She teased. Then, both went downstairs and rode off on Leif's bike to Midtown high.

I was in my classroom and writing my exam paper. I was following Leif's advice and was solving questions, I thought I had answers to. But I was still worried. What if these weren't enough for me passing the exams.
Okay, Liz. Just like Leif said, took a deep breath and calmed down. I started writing again.

After that exam.... everyone was in the cafeteria. Nerds were relaxed. Some were checking answers. Some were crying and some were relieved. As for me, I barely passed it.
Even though, ours were arts related, I mean Mine's and Lucas' s. We were studying together. He's not a genius but not an idiot too. If not for him, I would have failed due to toxic shit at my house and existential crisis of the world!
First day, we were at Peter's house with him and Gwen. Then, we decided to give them space. So, I went to Lucas's house and it was not bad. We kinda grew close.
Not sexual but...I thought, we were developing feelings for each other. As for our nerd duo, Gwen and Peter. They were relaxed. They would have As.
As for Liz, she's relieved to hear from Leif after what she told about her paper that she passed?! As I said, sometimes, others could help you.

After two exams, I was kinda calm. We were currently eating our breakfast by feeding each other. I didn't know when but it had become a permanent thing among us.
And it felt really good. Mum also felt relieved knowing that my future was good. She was currently eating her own breakfast admiring us. After some minutes, we were going down to parking lot.

I was in my classroom and writing my paper more calmly then Monday. I was still solving easy questions first. I might be good now. But I still needed to work hard.
Which I thought was not gonna happen. Even with Leif, this was my limit.

Liz was really happy that she was passed. Leif told her that her answers in today history exams were right. Only which she was sure about. So, she was relieved.
Now, they were feeding each other lunch. Many were jealous of them. Especially Flash's group but they just came back from suspension due to their parents begging.
They were not going to do something especially during exams and sports week. It was their passing hope. Besides they learned about Leif being an heir of Sorensen Glassworks in Brooklyn.
He was smart, strong and wealthy. They could not do anything against him anymore. They only grunted while Sally Avril was delusional about him leaving Liz after High school.
She was adamant that Leif was just playing with Liz.
