Chapter 170 - Chapter 170. Kara, the cat-like woman who wants to win the bid

Halfway up the snowy mountain.

The clear, melted ice water formed a stream that gurgled down the mountainside. Supergirl Kara sat on a large, artificially flattened rock by the stream, directly taking off her dark red thigh-high combat boots, completely oblivious to the cold water washing her feet.

It was only then that Vincent, standing nearby, recalled what he had done last night.

He looked at Kara's youthful and beautiful face, which held a sweet, soft smile. Supergirl's uniform had a vibrant red cape, though it now had some wrinkles and obvious handprints. Every strand of her long, flowing hair shimmered with platinum luster. Her long, slender, well-proportioned legs were submerged halfway in the stream. Her small hands splashed the cool water onto her inner thighs, and the water immediately slid down the smooth, ivory-like curve of her long legs.

The sight of those fair, tender hands, capable of shattering mountains, performing such delicate and gentle actions, filled Vincent with a huge sense of adorable contrast.

And also...

Although her outward appearance hadn't changed at all compared to yesterday morning, Supergirl Kara's demeanor had subtly become more mature and alluring.

Especially watching Kara clean the things flowing down her legs with a troubled expression, Vincent felt a renewed surge of desire.

Who could resist that?

It was fine when he hadn't tasted it before, but now, after the first liberation of his nature, the young man found it even harder to go back.

However, Vincent knew that if he touched Kara again now, he would transform into the out-of-control Superman state from yesterday. Today was already Sunday, almost noon, and in the evening, they were attending a coming-of-age family dinner at his childhood friend Gwen's house.

"Vincent, it won't wash off..." Kara said helplessly, gently splashing the water with her feet, and mumbled, "I'd better go home and take a proper shower."

This simple sentence nearly caused Vincent's hard-won psychological defenses to collapse.

Vincent took a deep breath and suppressed it. "My fault. I should have taken precautions yesterday."

"I did bring some. But would precautions... even work?" Kara pulled out two small square plastic items from a hard-to-find pocket at the waist of her Superman uniform, showed them, and then tucked them back into a tiny internal pouch.

"That's true," Vincent realized.

In that state yesterday, it seemed even precautions wouldn't have prevented anything.

"Besides, if we really had taken precautions, wouldn't it have been a waste...?"

Kara gently placed her palm on her lower abdomen, covered by her blue uniform, and said frankly with a mysterious expectation.

She came to school to experience human life and integrate into human society.

So, for Kara, if there was an opportunity to strengthen the Kryptonian race and nurture a crystallization of love, it would definitely take precedence over her studies at school by a large margin.

"Kara," Vincent looked at her seriously. "If you keep this up..., you might want to consider taking a day off tomorrow or the day after."

"Ah, I was wrong!" Kara stuck out her pink tongue, her eyes fluttering cautiously, her small, upturned nose visibly twitching, revealing an expression of lingering fear.

Last night, for a moment, our Kryptonian girl, Kara, truly thought she had died.

At least, she was broken... for a short time.

Kara didn't want to do it again. Exciting as it was, she couldn't risk her life every day, could she?

...Supergirl Kara took Vincent and flew directly to the rooftop of Vincent's residential building. As soon as she set down the Vincent she was carrying, Kara's face became troubled, and she flew back towards her adoptive parents' home in the Washington suburbs.

Vincent took the elevator downstairs and opened the door to his home, finding no one inside.

Of course.

Even though today was Sunday, at midday, Diana would still be at the law firm where she was a shareholder. Wanda would also go to school to study butler education, or to Sorcerer Ancient One's sacred place to learn magic.

Ultimately, as the idler of the house, it was always just Vincent.

No.

There were also two or three other guys.

"Little Emperor, Little Poison... you guys are even more relaxed than I am. Day in and day out, just lying flat at home."

Vincent came to the living room and stretched out his hand towards Little Emperor, who was sprawled in a corner of their sofa, and started vigorously petting him.

This fellow, he used to meow a couple of times when Vincent came home, but now he was too lazy to even open his eyes to look at him.

The Flerken Cub didn't resist; instead, it comfortably narrowed its eyes.

After a few months, its appearance had barely changed. Its four cat paws were gently curled, and it rolled over, exposing its fluffy, flat little belly.

Vincent didn't hold back, stroking the even softer and warmer cat belly.

Little Emperor's cat tail suddenly twisted and lifted on its own, dark ink-like liquid seeping from its fur, condensing into tendrils like stretched wire. The tip of the cat tail transformed into a black alien head.

"Don't call me Little Poison. I told you, I'm Venom."

The dark head's eyes were pale white. It stared intently at the young man, revealing ferocious, numerous fangs, and whispered in an evil, hoarse voice, "Your body feels different to me than before..."

"There have been some changes, yes, it's gotten harder."

Vincent nodded in admission, pinching his Body of Steel abs, which weren't very obvious when he wore clothes. He wasn't surprised by the Symbiote Venom's appearance.

After his last confrontation with his aunt and the Symbiote Venom, Venom, which had long been parasitic on Little Emperor, would occasionally make its presence known like this.

"What a pity."

The Symbiote Venom sighed regretfully, quickly transforming into liquid and flowing back into the cat's body, completely disappearing in an instant.

What it regretted was this:

This human young man had the most suitable host physique for it to parasitize, bar none!

But once it parasitized Vincent, under the activation of the Lord of the Retinue, Vincent would also gain Symbiote characteristics. And once Vincent transformed into Symbiote characteristics, he himself would become extremely unsuitable for parasitism, but rather suitable for parasitizing others. This would prevent the perfect utilization of the abilities provided by Venom.

This was what the Symbiote Venom had always regretted. "By the way," the Symbiote Venom, parasitic on Little Emperor, suddenly formed a mouth on the cat's back and spoke hoarsely, "Recently, I've sensed the aura of my kind again."

"Your kind?"

Vincent's hand, stroking Little Emperor's soft belly, abruptly stopped.

Venom's kin were, naturally, these peculiar alien Symbiote creatures.

He frowned, "Are you sure?"

"I'm sure, it is indeed my kin," Venom responded with certainty.

"Where?" Vincent asked.

"I don't know," Venom replied. "I only vaguely sensed the fluctuations of my kin; I can't pinpoint its exact location, but the general area should still be—New York City."

That statement was as good as saying nothing.

"New York?" Vincent pondered for a moment. "Didn't you say that only three Symbiotes came to Earth with you?"

Vincent remembered those three Symbiotes very clearly, as he himself had personally dealt with the first Three-in-one.

Two Symbiotes were banished into the Flerken's space and died there long ago without a host.

The third Symbiote was burned alive inside the spaceship!

"Wait a minute." Vincent's mind stirred. "How do you Symbiotes reproduce?"

"We reproduce directly through ourselves. However, once we reproduce an offspring, we ourselves die. So we Symbiotes only choose to reproduce just before our life comes to an end..."

Venom said this and then realized, "Are you saying that Riot (the Symbiote leader) reproduced a Symbiote offspring when it was burned to death before?"

"Very likely."

Vincent's expression became serious. "If that's true, then its offspring must be stronger than the previous generation, or, unafraid of fire!"

...Although Vincent knew there was a Symbiote hidden in New York City, he didn't plan to take action. After all, if the other party remained hidden and didn't show itself, the difficulty of finding it would be like searching for a needle in a haystack.

So, he could only put it aside for now.

"Guan Luo, you must have something to tell me too."

Vincent looked out at the balcony of his house. As he spoke, the colorful starfish in the glass jar, basking in the Sun on the balcony, opened its single eye.

Guan Luo transmitted mentally, "Two things."

"First, the S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters you were looking for has been found. The address is in Manhattan, New York, on a central island of a city redevelopment project."

"Well done," Vincent nodded and gave instructions. "Surround the urban area around the Headquarters, then find a way to infiltrate the Headquarters building and see if there's a silver-haired boy around thirteen years old inside. Also, record any special items within the Headquarters."

"The security there is quite tight, but compared to some civilizations in the Universe, it's still far behind—I'll do my best to try," Guan Luo responded confidently.

With a thought from it, immediately...

Hundreds of kilometers away, tiny transparent creatures resembling jellyfish, distributed throughout various parts of New York, hidden on humans, cats, dogs, vehicles, buildings, and so on, began to converge towards the location of S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters, using the crowds and traffic on the streets.

Surrounding S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters... "What's the second thing?" Vincent asked curiously. He could guess the first thing, but he had no clue about the second.

Guan Luo: "The night before last, didn't you attach a jellyfish clone to a White young man and ask me to monitor him?"

"I remember now, there was indeed such a thing." Vincent's eyes grew cold, and he said without hesitation, "Has he returned home? Then we can confiscate the tools he intended to use for his crime..."

"He's dead," Guan Luo's mental transmission abruptly came.

"What... did you say?" Vincent was stunned for a moment, then asked in a deep voice, "When, and how did he die?"

"Last night, he died at his home in New York."

As Guan Luo spoke, it simultaneously transmitted a large amount of information to Vincent via mental thought.

Vincent's brain immediately displayed a series of real scenes, incredibly clear and detailed, like watching a VR movie from God's perspective.

The visible scene was inside a luxurious and spacious room, with doors and windows tightly shut. Inside, there was only a White young man—the very scumbag who had previously tried to force himself upon someone else.

The White young man was dressed in designer clothes. He was clearly drunk again, constantly tugging at his tie around his neck and gasping for air. His handsome face was twisted with fiery anger, and his eyes were bloodshot and frantic.

Recalling last night's events, the White young man couldn't control his emotions and began smashing furniture: "That stinking bitch, she dared to resist! Next time, I'll make you my plaything! I'll make you close your eyes and call me Master, suck me!!"

"And those two damn passersby!"

Smashing a lamp worth tens of thousands of U.S. dollars to the ground, the White young man finally eased some of his emotions.

He exhaled, just about to call the female housekeeper outside to deal with the shards, and coincidentally, to vent his frustration using her plump buttocks.

But at this moment, with a crash!

The room's window suddenly opened, and the night wind howled in!

Silver, bright moonlight poured in from the window, casting an elegant and strange, graceful figure into the room, resembling a cat's tail swaying slightly.

Vincent was shocked and uncertain. From his God's perspective, he saw even more clearly than the White young man—

It was a woman!

A cat-like woman!

The woman's silver hair, the same color as the moonlight, flew wildly. She wore a half-black mask on her face, obscuring her features, revealing only crimson, sensual lips and a pair of extremely bright, cold, beautiful eyes.

She wore a shiny black leather suit that looked like a one-piece. As she crouched on the windowsill like a cat, her mature and graceful body outlined alluring, curvaceous lines.

What was astonishing was that the woman's hands resembled enlarged beast-like cat claws, with sharp claws glinting with cold light. A pair of cat ears and a cat tail also emerged from her head and behind her, making her a bizarre and beautiful siren combined into one.

"You are..."

The White young man turned around in alarm. He looked at the black cat woman at the window, an astonished expression appearing on his face, and at the same time, a flash of primal lust in his eyes.

However, before he could finish his words, the black cat woman pounced forward like a hunting cat, approaching him with inhuman speed. Her right cat claw slashed across the young man's throat, and several tragic streaks of blood immediately erupted in the room—

The moment she cut his throat, the black cat woman's toes touched the ground, and she deftly and flexibly moved aside, avoiding the splashing Scarlet blood.

The White young man's eyes widened in immense fear. He clutched his neck, which was gushing warm blood, and opened his mouth as if to say something, but ultimately couldn't utter a single word, falling straight backward onto the floor.

The black cat woman didn't spare the White young man another glance. Instead, she quickly used her cat claws to slash open the drawers and safe in the room, stuffing a large amount of cash and gold into a bag she casually picked up.

Having completed all this, the black cat woman was about to leave, but her body suddenly paused. Her cat-like sharp, beautiful eyes looked towards the leg of the table in the room.

She stepped forward, extended her metal-like cat claw, and directly crushed the tiny, semi-transparent jellyfish attached to the table!

...Guan Luo's archived vision transmitted mentally to Vincent ended there.

Vincent remained in a daze. Although the other party's face was covered, the black cat woman's figure strongly resembled someone in his memory!
