Chapter 126 - Movie

Once the entire royal family finally got into their carriage and left, I locked the door. As I walked back inside, I stretched both arms high over my head and let out a loud groan.

"Finally gone… I'm exhausted!"

Lina sighed beside me.

"Let's hope there won't be a next time."

Yeah, please don't come to our house again. I'd spent the whole day lecturing people without a single chance to relax.

"Right? I feel like I don't even have an appetite anymore."

I'd been smelling the prince's vomit at close range the whole time—I was still nauseous.

"Same here. What about you, Lani?"

"No appetite."

Lani shook her head. Since none of us had the mood to eat, we might as well clean up and then take a nice bath to unwind.

"Alright, let's tidy up and shower after."

"Okay."

Once we finished cleaning, I scrubbed the floor and washed the sofa covers. Lina went to wash the dishes, while Lani didn't really have anything to do—she just lay on the living-room couch to rest.

After we finished showering, we all settled into the movie room, lazily browsing for something lighthearted and fun to watch. That's when Lina tugged on my sleeve and asked,

"Karen, so… why did the king come here?"

"He told me to go to the castle on the 31st, but didn't tell me what it's about."

That was the truth. I wasn't told the content—because technically the king is the one being told the content. Lina folded her legs onto the sofa, hugging a square pillow, curiosity shining in her eyes.

"I'm so curious… what could it be?"

I already knew the reason, though. I kept scrolling for a movie and replied casually.

"Hopefully nothing weird… Let's watch this one. The cover looks good."

My thumb stopped on something that caught my attention.

The title was "The Many Classic Tropes I Ran Into." It was an anime movie. The summary said the protagonist gets reincarnated into another world and ends up dragged into every classic isekai trope—like overpowered harem-building protagonists, otome-game world settings, or a full class getting transported to a fantasy world.

"Mm."

"Okay."

Once they both agreed, I grabbed the remote, turned off the lights, and hit play.

"Alright, starting."

Here's the story:

The seventeen-year-old protagonist gets hit by a truck and wakes up in a cave in another world, where he obtains powerful magic.

To survive in this unknown land, he trains obsessively for twenty years before finally heading out to see the world.

The absurd part is that he still looks exactly like a seventeen-year-old. Not a single year shows on his face.

Later, the movie explains that the cave was protected by a special barrier that makes time feel extremely slow. So outside, only twenty days passed, but his magic training actually progressed as if he'd spent twenty years.

After leaving the cave, the protagonist defeats a group of bandits and saves the rich girl of the world's largest merchant guild. In gratitude, she gives him a fortune and even tries seducing him to win him over. He refuses righteously, lecturing her about valuing herself and staying pure and blah blah blah.

The rich girl is the third of five siblings—a middle child who never received her parents' love. All she grew up with was endless money and the idea that any means are justified for profit. The protagonist's speech makes her think he likes her, and she falls for him instantly.

Rich girl begins taking care of protagonist in every possible way, and since he never interacted with girls in his previous life, he eventually falls in love with her too. They then set off to travel the world together.

First Arc

They meet a man with a harem—left arm, right arm, several women following behind. He's a national-level mage who becomes obsessed with the rich girl's beauty and tries to take her by force.

The protagonist, furious, fights him with magic and wins easily. Incidentally, the harem girls actually love the harem guy and aren't being forced.

Second Arc

In another city, they encounter a group of one girl and five handsome, noble-looking men. The woman looks like an ordinary commoner.

Suddenly, a gorgeous noble lady steps in front of the commoner girl, throws down a white glove, and challenges her to a duel—believing she seduced her fiancé.

The five handsome men then take turns mocking the noble lady and accept the duel on the commoner girl's behalf. Because the fiancé is the crown prince, no one dares help the noble lady—doing so would offend him. The protagonist and the rich girl, confused but disgusted by the men's behavior, step in to help her.

The protagonist wins the duel, the noble lady comes to her senses, breaks off her engagement to the prince, and the king strips the crown prince of his succession rights. The other four noble boys are also disowned by their families.

Third Arc (Final)

The protagonist is suddenly run into by a woman who's fleeing from something. After apologizing, she recognizes him—she was his classmate from his previous life. She explains that their entire class was summoned to this world to defeat the Demon King, but they're all imprisoned in a sanctuary now.

A group of knights arrives to capture her, but the protagonist defeats them. Out of classmate friendship, he heads to the temple, rescues the whole class, and promises the archbishop that he'll defeat the Demon King.

Protagonist defeats the Demon King's four generals, reaches the Demon King's castle, and after a fierce battle, finally kills him. Movie end.

My Review is this movie feels like a "recap movie" of an anime series. Not bad, not great—just okay.
