He poured himself a glass of orange juice, anticipation quickening the movements of his hands, and couldn't take waiting anymore. The box had to have been from Nikita... but the idea of what could be inside was a tantalizing mystery. He still didn't know Nikita all that well. Blair took a sip of his juice, then snapped the gift box open, pulling up the hinged lid.
He thought it might be a pair of cufflinks, something dressy, given the nature of the box. But upon opening, it became clear to Blair that the box had likely been repurposed. Inside, nestled in the black velvet that once held cufflinks or a tie clip or something along those lines, was a small folding pocket knife.
