Later, after classes had ended, Ren calmly made his way toward the portal that would return him to the Hollow and Demon Tower. He needed to keep leveling up. Thanks to everything that had happened throughout the day, he had already pieced together where he stood in the story timeline—it wouldn't be long before the Shinigami came for Rukia… and before Uryū caused chaos by drawing a massive horde of Hollows toward him.
Before stepping through the portal, Ren adjusted his new cloak—fire-resistant and recently purchased from the system's shop. He knew it would prove invaluable on the upper floors.
"All right… here we go. Let the hunt begin."
A confident yet calm smile curved his lips as he stepped into the portal, his cloak billowing behind him.
Ren had a clear objective: to unlock the Class Change Quest. He could feel it—he was close. The system's presence hummed faintly, and curiosity burned deep within his chest.
Would he obtain the job of the Shadow Monarch… or something entirely different?
His stats were fairly balanced, making it impossible to predict what the system would choose.
Ren emerged on the third floor, right where he had stopped last time. The entire area had already been cleared of enemies, leaving nothing in his path as he advanced toward the fourth floor.
Thanks to his Reiatsu, each level-up further amplified his power. The system labeled it as MP, but Ren didn't care what it was called. As long as he could use it, the name was irrelevant.
The moment he crossed into the next floor, he found a scene similar to the last—an entire city contained within a single level. Yet one crucial difference stood out.
The flames burning across the city glowed a dark, ominous pink, casting an infernal light over everything. Still, Ren barely spared it a glance.
What truly caught his attention were the demons and Hollows.
They were everywhere.
A smile spread across his face, his eyes gleaming with excitement—calm, controlled, and dangerously sharp.
This was exactly the challenge he needed.
With a smooth motion, Ren drew his weapons, newly purchased from the system's store. One was Jin-Woo's classic dagger—Kasaka's Dagger. The second was far more striking: its hilt was jet black with subtle crimson accents, and its blade, longer than usual, bore blood-red edges surrounding a dark core.
Though its size made it resemble a short sword, the system classified it as a dagger, and Ren didn't bother questioning it.
"Looks like I've got myself a new toy," he said with a faint smile.
[Item: Demon Blood Dagger]
[Rank: A+]
[Effect: +35% damage against demons]
Before engaging, Ren activated his Fullbring, further enhancing his weapons while instinctively grasping their true potential—as if their use had been etched into his soul.
He dashed forward at incredible speed, using Fullbring's high-speed movement. In the blink of an eye, he was already among a group of demons and Hollows. With a single, fluid motion, he cut through them like a passing shadow.
Their heads hit the ground before they even realized they were dead.
Then he activated Bringer of Light.
His body became a blur—far too fast for the demons and Hollows to track. One after another, they fell, unable to comprehend what had struck them. Ren reappeared behind them, wearing the same calm smile, as if he were merely playing a game.
Suddenly, a massive demon attempted to crush him with a powerful kick.
Ren ducked with feline agility, evading effortlessly.
With a single counter-kick, he sent the creature flying, its body crashing through a building as if it were made of paper.
"Interesting… I've grown a lot stronger," he muttered, dodging incoming attacks while finishing his enemies with clean, precise strikes from his daggers.
He hadn't truly tested his new strength until now. As the battle continued, realization struck him—his growth wasn't limited to speed or technique.
It was raw power.
Each strike was devastating. The demons barely had time to breathe before being erased.
In the blink of an eye, Ren had grown far stronger than he ever was at the moment of his reincarnation.
It wasn't just his overall strength that had increased.
Ren could feel it clearly—his Fullbring had evolved as well.
The sensation was subtle but unmistakable. The way his spiritual power responded, the way it flowed through his body and into his weapons, felt different than before. More refined. More complete.
That realization stirred a quiet curiosity within him.
According to what he remembered from the manga, Fullbringers drew their power from fragments of the Soul King that resided within their souls. It wasn't something common, nor something easily confirmed, but the connection was undeniable.
Which raised a question Ren couldn't ignore.
Do I possess a fragment of the Soul King as well?
He had no definitive answer. The system hadn't provided any direct information, and his abilities didn't come with clear explanations. Still, the way his Fullbring continued to grow suggested there was more to it than he currently understood.
Nevertheless, Ren didn't dwell on it for long.
Speculation alone wouldn't give him answers.
If there was something hidden within his power, then the only way to uncover it was through experience. Through combat. Through continued growth.
Another thought crossed his mind as he moved through the ruined city.
Every major power had an advanced release.
Soul Reapers had Bankai.
Hollows possessed Segunda Etapa—a state only Ulquiorra had reached, but proof that further evolution was possible.
Quincies had Vollständig.
Each path had its own ultimate form.
There was no reason Fullbringers should be any different.
If their power truly came from the Soul King, then it was only logical that they, too, had a second release—an evolution equivalent to Bankai, waiting to be discovered.
Ren didn't know what form it would take, or how it would be achieved.
But he was certain of one thing.
He would explore it in the future.
Step by step, floor by floor, he would uncover the full extent of his power—until nothing remained hidden from him.
