Chapter 160 - Chapter 160: The Sea Maiden Douluo Eavesdrops on My Thoughts...

Chapter 160: The Sea Maiden Douluo Eavesdrops on My Thoughts...

As dawn broke Qi Tian changed his previous conspicuous attire and headed towards the Sea Maiden City following Bo Saixi's directions.

The city of female warriors is less of a city and more of a small town on the mainland.

But Bo Saixi pointed Qi Tian toward the sea where the Sea Maiden's Sacred Pillar was located.

How could a place inhabited by humans be located by the sea? Qi Tian naturally sensed something was amiss.

Bo Saixi had ulterior motives but Qi Tian wasn't particularly afraid.

Qi Tian guessed Bo Saixi's idea; she probably wanted to trick him into going to find the Sea Maiden Douluo.

He was planning to meet the Sea Witch Douluo to see if her mind-reading ability would work on him.

If it works then he needs to be on guard in the future.

Before long Qi Tian arrived at the seaside of the Sea Maiden City and came to the Sea Maiden Sacred Pillar.

The Mermaid Pillar is different from other pillars; it is a statue of a mermaid and next to the pillar's stone platform a young girl sits by the sea.

The girl had a huge fish tail with a beautiful arc that extended all the way to her waist.

She was wearing a black top that didn't even cover her navel which easily aroused people's imagination.

According to the rules Soul Masters who have passed the Black-level test on Sea God Island should wear black robes.

But the Sea Witch dressed in a small black garment that barely covered her snow-white skin was quite unique.

The Sea Witch's beauty was unparalleled; a faint smile always graced her lips and her large deep blue eyes were exceptionally beautiful.

It can be said that the Sea Maiden Douluo fulfilled all of Qi Tian's fantasies about mermaids at least making him feel that the trip was worthwhile.

The Sea Witch is playing her magic flute which is her way of life and her method of cultivation.

The melodious flute music had a captivating magic and Qi Tian was immediately mesmerised.

However his arrival startled the Sea Maiden Douluo who stopped playing her instrument and looked in the direction of Qi Tian.

"High Priest what brings you here?" The Sea Maiden Douluo quickly bowed.

Qi Tian snapped out of his daze and quickly cleared his mind of distractions to prevent the Sea Maiden Douluo from reading his mind.

However even the Sea Maiden Douluo probably wouldn't dare to use mind-reading on Bo Saixi right?

If Qi Tian wanted to try it he would have to ask the other party to use mind-reading on him.

"My High Priestess? This isn't the City of the Sea Maidens is it?" Qi Tian asked Bo Saixi.

Bo Saixi didn't answer wanting to wait and see if the Sea Witch could notice her unusual behaviour.

Seeing that Bo Saixi remained silent Qi Tian ignored her and started chatting with the Sea Witch.

Anyway he was using Bo Saixi's body and his soul power was as high as level 99. Even if the Sea Witch wanted to make a move she would have to see if she could defeat her.

"Sea Witch why don't you use your mind-reading ability to hear my purpose?" Qi Tian laughed.

A hint of surprise flickered in the Sea Witch's large azure eyes making them appear extremely lively.

"Your subordinate wouldn't dare!" The Sea Witch lowered her head but her eyes glanced at Qi Tian out of the corner of her eye.

The Sea Witch not only has the ability to read minds but she is also adept at noticing subtle details.

She noticed that the high priestess today was not wearing the bright red robe that symbolised her status but rather a light blue cloth skirt.

"What does the High Priest mean by this?" The Sea Witch mustered her courage and tried to read Bo Saixi's mind.

She had tried before because Bo Saixi had passed the ultimate test of the Sea God and she was completely unable to hear Bo Saixi's thoughts.

If she were to forcibly read Bo Saixi's mind she might offend the gods and suffer a backlash.

The Sea Witch has no friends because she can read minds and no one wants to be her friend.

She had heard too many filthy voices and didn't like making friends with those people.

For this reason Bo Saixi the only person she couldn't hear her own thoughts from was a special person to her.

Unfortunately Bo Saixi's status was too high so she couldn't befriend her.

Over time she was left to guard the sacred Sea Maiden Pillar alone.

"Huh?" The Sea Witch was startled; she had actually heard the high priestess's thoughts.

"The High Priestess's inner voice is asking if I can hear her thoughts?" The Sea Witch almost got confused.

Qi Tian tried hard to suppress his distracting thoughts only revealing his initial idea.

He noticed the Sea Witch's unusual expression and knew that she could hear his thoughts and that he was not immune to her mind-reading ability.

"After all it's just a fragment of my soul consciousness; my soul power isn't strong enough!"

"She's trying to scheme against me and I can use that to make her die!" Qi Tian thought to himself.

Various distracting thoughts flashed by and Qi Tian looked at the Sea Witch no longer trying to suppress them.

A moment later he saw the Sea Witch's unconcealed surprise.

"Who's scheming against whom? And the High Priestess she wanted to touch my fish tail? And wanted to see how I'm different from a human?"

The Sea Witch was startled thinking she had misheard.

"How could such a serious person as the High Priest have such thoughts?"

"If the High Priestess really wants to touch it should I let her?"

The Sea Maiden Douluo was caught in a dilemma and at the same time she also felt a sense of loss.

Because the only person in the world who could resist her mind-reading ability can now have their thoughts heard by her.

"Sea Witch do you now know why I came here?" Qi Tian asked.

The Sea Maiden Douluo raised her head her expression somewhat unnatural. "High Priest is your purpose in coming here really just to touch my fishtail?"

Upon hearing the Sea Witch's words Qi Tian remained calm but Bo Saixi immediately became anxious.

"Can the Sea Witch hear your thoughts? How can you think such things?"

Bo Saixi was getting anxious. She had originally wanted the Sea Witch to help her but Qi Tian seemed to be deliberately thinking about all sorts of random things.

His identity and his control over her body were not reflected in his thoughts at all.

If this continues Qi Tian will ruin her reputation.

Unexpectedly Qi Tian not only ignored her but also nodded and said "May I touch you Sea Witch?"

The Sea Witch thought about it and realised that the other person was also a woman so it didn't seem like there was anything wrong with letting her touch her.

She nodded and said "High Priest feel free to touch it if you want!"

"Stop!" Bo Saixi watched as 'herself' walked towards the Sea Witch and finally understood what despair meant.

She had never felt this desperate not even when she was ranked eighth in the top-tier exams.

Even if Qi Tian returned control of her body to her she wouldn't know how to face the Sea Maiden Douluo.

If the Sea Maiden Douluo were to spread this matter further the entire Sea God's followers on Sea God Island would likely know about her peculiar habit.

But Qi Tian didn't care about her; after all she was the one who tried to scheme against him.

He also wanted to see what would happen if the high priest who was high above everyone else were banished to the mortal realm.

The Sea Witch sat sideways on the beach stretching out her curled fish tail letting Qi Tian caress her.

Her scales are very fine so her tail feels very smooth to the touch and the curve from her waist to her tail fin is extremely smooth and beautiful.

"It feels so good! I wish these were human legs with such perfect curves!"

"Is her upper body different from a human's? I really want to see it!"

As the Sea Witch felt Bo Saixi's hands stroking her tail and listened to Qi Tian's thoughts she couldn't help but blush.

"How could the high priest touch that place?"

Bo Saixi's heart was completely dead; she didn't even want to regain control of her body anymore.
