Xue Di already possessed a soul core within her body which allowed her to roughly discern the authenticity of the cultivation techniques described by Qi Tian.
As she listened to Qi Tian's explanation of the method her understanding of condensing the second soul core deepened.
Xue Di then realised that if she rashly tried to condense a second soul core there was a high chance of failure.
If her soul power backfired on her origin she wouldn't even be able to save her own life let alone break through the 700,000-year bottleneck and face the seventh heavenly tribulation.
"Am I left with no choice but to transform into human form to avoid the seventh heavenly tribulation?" the Snow Empress wondered.
She looked at Qi Tian a feeling of gratitude rising in her heart.

Late at night Qi Tian being cautious did not leave Bing Di's body but simply returned control of the body to her.
After all Hyotei's behaviour last night was too abnormal and Qi Tian had to be wary of her causing trouble.
Sure enough as soon as midnight passed the Ice Empress and the Snow Empress woke up. It seemed as if they had been acting while they were asleep.
"Sister Snow Empress I did it!" Ice Empress said excitedly.
She hadn't expected to find out the location of the Ying Yang Ice And Fire Eyes so easily and to successfully outmanoeuvre that human.
Xue Di nodded and said "Alright then let's not delay and set off immediately!"
Without having to act with Qi Tian the two women will arrive at Sunset Forest in no time.
"Hmph I'd like to see how he tries to ambush us now. Then we'll ambush him instead!"
"You've controlled me for so long this time I'm going to get my revenge!" Hyotei said bitterly.
Snow Empress glanced at Ice Empress thought for a moment and then advised "Ice Empress forget it. He doesn't seem to have any ill intentions."
"He taught us the method of the Soul Core and also told us that the place of opportunity was not our enemy."
Ice Empress was stunned. Just two days ago Snow Empress said she would help her kill Qi Tian and break his control over her. How come everything has changed now?
"Oh well!"
Hyotei thought about it and felt that what Xue Di said made some sense and she didn't want to go against Xue Di's wishes.
"Then I won't kill him. Once I find his true form I'll take him back to the far north strip him naked and let him shiver in the freezing cold!"
That human not only used his body to take liberties with Xue Di but also took liberties with her.
If she doesn't avenge this she will be unworthy of being the queen of the far north.
Snow Empress shook her head helplessly as she looked at Ice Empress's expression.
"Bing'er if he doesn't mean us any harm you should try to get along with him."
"Your fourth tribulation is about to arrive. If you encounter an accident and are unable to overcome the tribulation you can still transform into human form to cultivate."
"You might need Qi Tian's protection then!" Xue Di explained.
The Ice Empress has successfully broken through 400,000 years of cultivation. Within a thousand years she will have to face the might of Heaven. During this period no one can guarantee that everything will go smoothly.
"Impossible I will definitely get through this!" Hyotei said from the passage.
She absorbed half of the Heavenly Dream Ice Silkworm's essence how could she not survive?
Unless she was seriously injured before the heavenly tribulation descended she would not be able to withstand it.
Better safe than sorry. After thinking it over Hyotei decided to listen to Xue Di.
Unbeknownst to the two Qi Tian was watching their every move.
Qi Tian was both amused and exasperated. It turned out that Bing Di had already told Xue Di about his situation.
Xue Di pretended not to know anything eating and sleeping with him allowing him to take full advantage of her.
The Ice Empress actually wanted to take revenge on him but the Snow Empress pleaded for him instead.
However Qi Tian knew this was normal because he hadn't possessed Bing Di many times and their relationship wasn't very deep.
If your body is inexplicably controlled by someone else anyone would want to get rid of this hidden danger.
"Forget it I can't afford to offend the Ice Empress right now. When my cultivation is strong enough to suppress her I'll see how I punish her!" Qi Tian thought to himself.
After telling Xue Di the location of the Ying Yang Ice And Fire Eyes Bing Di set off at full speed towards Sunset Forest.
Qi Tian dared not leave fearing that they would clash with humans.
It would be bad if Dugu Bo or Yue Douluo were to be injured by Bing Di and Xue Di while they were tending to the medicinal herbs at the Ying Yang Ice And Fire Eyes.

In the heart of Sunset Forest a miasma-filled atmosphere prevails.
Snow Empress dressed in a white gown looked like a fairy descending to earth as she stepped into the miasma.
In order to unleash its full power Hyotei reverted to her true form as the Ice Jade Emperor Scorpion and followed behind Xue Di.
The woman and the beast carefully stepped into the miasma sensing the rich energy of heaven and earth here.
"This is a poison array? Qi Tian is definitely not a good person. He set up a trap to ambush us!" said the Ice Empress.
Xue Di shook her head. "Bing'er don't talk nonsense. The poison array here may be naturally formed to protect the medicinal herbs in the herb garden."
As the woman and the beast stepped into the valley a vast herb garden came into view.
"So many medicinal herbs!" Ice Empress exclaimed.
Unfortunately the two were spirit beasts from the North and most of the medicinal herbs here were not very effective for them.
The further they went the denser the energy of heaven and earth became and at the same time the more powerful the poisonous miasma became.
Both of them were ferocious beasts of the ice attribute and were not particularly afraid of the cold poison miasma.
However the fire poison was extremely potent; inhaling too much of it would cause both the Ice Empress and the Snow Empress to feel a sense of oppression.
"Is this what you're looking for Snow Empress?" Ice Empress asked.
The water that Qi Tian took from the pool has now been restored to its original state thanks to the spiritual energy gathering effect of the Treasure Gathering Land.
Looking at the milky white spring water Xue Di nodded and said "Such rich ice energy!"
She finally realised that the spring water was useful to her and quite useful at that.
If used properly she might be able to go even further.
