Do you know those moments when you feel life being snatched out of you?
When you see your life dangling in front of you and you just can't take it for yourself.
When you just know it's over…but for some reason, you know there is something you should fight for.
I think…there is something I should fight for…my sister? Maybe but I'm sure there has to be something worth fighting for.
"I'm not going" the simple words fall out of my mouth before I can stop them.
My father, who had been getting ready to leave the room, pauses to acknowledge me.
My heart pounds in my throat as he slowly turns around, I flinch in anticipation of another hit from him, but he gives me a smile instead.
His smile is wide and looks terrifying, the smile he has kept specially for his profitable business partners.
"What did you say?" he asks in a gentle voice that I have never heard before.
The men holding me up snicker and tighten their grip around my arms.
