The car remains silent even as Jaehyun returns with the disposable bag of ramyeon.
The silence feels welcoming and wanted than awkward, I keep my face on his while he keeps his face on the road.
We arrive at his home in Hongdae and get out of the car together, he keeps his hand behind his back after locking the car.
The posture would have looked regal, lordly if not for the plastic bag containing Ramyeon.
I walk behind him quietly and as soon as we enter his apartment door, he flips the light switch and bends to take off his shoes.
I pull off my shoes at the door slowly.
Watching Jaehyun's reception of my presence into his home, he hasn't said a word to me since.
