The party is slow.
Wealthy men and women parade the room with champagne in hand and smiles on their faces while I stay at a corner watching them.
The decorated room is filled with many mafia clan members and clueless civilians and Chaebols floating around, exchanging handshakes and giving introduction.
No longer relevant to them, I am left to stand alone, quiet and invisible against the white wall.
Even in my silence, my mind is full of noises and chaos as my eyes dart around the room, looking for someone I shouldn't want to see.
Why? I don't even know.
I wipe my palm on my pants.
Jaehyun shouldn't be on my mind now, not when I have more important things to worry about, one of it being; Why am I being ignored?
It feels strange that they are keeping their distance from me, yet I love how it gives me the chance to think and try to plot; how do I get Yoon Sehwa out of my home? How do I keep Yunah safe? Where is Jaehyun?
