Chapter 226 - Chapter 226

Two powerful energy signatures were closing in on that blue planet.

One with a battle power of 4,000.

One with a battle power of 18,000.

Vegeta and Nappa—Saiyan Invasion arc.

This was it. This timing was absolutely perfect.

The Z Fighters on Earth still hadn't grown into monsters yet.

Goku had just learned Kaioken and Genki Dama (Spirit Bomb).

The strongest enemy was Vegeta, battle power 18,000. After transforming into Ozaru (Great Ape), he could reach 180,000.

That number… Shinju could try his luck with it.

Even if he couldn't beat Ozaru, he was confident he could stall—maybe even suppress Vegeta in base form.

More importantly, at this stage, Saiyan genetic samples were basically being delivered to his doorstep.

Nappa and Vegeta.

And Goku, who would be revived soon.

Three pure-blood Saiyans.

As long as he got their blood, or their souls...

Shinju rose to his feet.

Since he'd decided, there was no point hesitating.

"System, lock onto the coordinates."

"Target: Dragon Ball World, Universe 7, Earth."

"Time anchor: the eve before the Saiyan pods land."

Calibrating spacetime coordinates...

Origin Points consumed: 50,000.

Constructing crossworld passage...

An expensive toll.

Fifty thousand Origin Points nearly emptied half of what he'd gained in the pirate world.

But it was a necessary investment.

Shinju checked his equipment.

Ninja tool pouch, sealing scrolls, a few specially made kunai.

These things might not be that useful in the Dragon Ball world, but it never hurt to be prepared.

His greatest reliance was still his own strength, and the rule resistance granted by the System.

The System would protect him from being rejected by the rules of a foreign world—this was the confidence that let him invade an extinction-class world.

"No need to bring helpers."

This trip was for scouting and plunder.

Bringing Madara or Hashirama would only make things easier to mess up.

Those two were too arrogant. They were used to being invincible in the ninja world—if they went to the Dragon Ball world, they'd be liable to misjudge reality.

If Nappa slapped them to death in one hit, resurrecting them would cost money.

Going alone was the safest. If he could win, he'd fight. If he couldn't, he'd run.

With Hiraishin no Jutsu and Yomotsu Hirasaka, Shinju was confident no one could keep him there.

Unless he ran into Goku's Instant Transmission, or a Supreme Kai.

But at this point in time, Goku hadn't learned Instant Transmission yet.

The advantage was his.

[Teleportation available at any time.]

Space split open in front of him, forming a pitch-black crack.

The aura leaking out from within was violent, scorching hot, filled with a desire for destruction.

The aura of Saiyans—also the aura of a world belonging to the strong.

Shinju adjusted his collar.

The blood of a warrior race might be able to push the Heroic Spirit army into another evolution.

His figure slipped into the darkness.

Dragon Ball World, Earth, East City.

The bustling metropolis was still noisy as ever. People lived peaceful lives, completely unaware that catastrophe was about to descend.

Outside the atmosphere

Two spherical spacecraft cut through the silent starry sky, trailing long flames as they plunged toward the ground at extreme speed.

Two deafening booms erupted almost at the same time in the wilderness outside East City.

Massive craters formed, bottomless and deep.

Smoke and dust billowed.

The hatches opened.

A booted foot stepped onto Earth's soil.

A bald, burly man grinned with savage cruelty.

Nappa.

Next came another man—shorter, but radiating an even more terrifying pressure.

Spiked hair reaching upward, cold eyes, an arrogant stance.

The Saiyan Prince—Vegeta.

"So this is Earth?"

Nappa rolled his neck, joints cracking loudly.

"The gravity's so light. Feels like I'm floating."

He pressed the button on his scouter.

"Vegeta, the battle power readings here are all low. The highest is only a few hundred."

Vegeta crossed his arms, full of disdain.

"That trash Kakarot… he couldn't even wipe out a planet like this. What a disgrace to the Saiyan name."

"As long as we find the Dragon Balls, we'll gain eternal life."

Nappa licked his lips in excitement.

"How about we kill a few people to celebrate?"

He raised his hand. A blinding sphere of light gathered in his palm.

"Do whatever you want," Vegeta said coldly.

Just as Nappa was about to fire a Ki Blast and destroy the distant city—

Beep beep beep!

The scouter over his eye suddenly shrieked with a rapid alarm.

The numbers started jumping—this wasn't coming from the far-off city.

It was coming from...

Above their heads.

"Huh?"

Nappa halted, frowning as he looked up.

"What's going on? Did the scouter break?"

Vegeta also narrowed his eyes and looked into the sky.

The previously clear sky suddenly twisted.

A figure appeared out of nowhere.

No spacecraft. No thrusters.

He simply hovered there in midair, quietly looking down on them.

A white imperial robe, long black hair.

Eyes calm like a dead-still pool—yet carrying the gaze of someone assessing prey.

Shinju, descending.

"Who's that?" Nappa froze for a moment.

"An Earthling? No—Earthlings can't fly."

Unease rose in Nappa's gut. He hurriedly switched his scouter to measure the opponent's battle power.

Beep beep beep!

The value on the scouter skyrocketed wildly.

1000...

3000...

5000...

7000...

8000...

Still rising!

"That's impossible!"

Nappa's eyes went wide, shock spreading across his face.

"Vegeta! This guy's battle power… it's over ten thousand! He's not normal—he's probably not even from Earth!"

Vegeta's expression finally changed.

He stared hard at the man in the sky.

Over ten thousand? On this remote low-class planet?

Besides Kakarot, how could there be a powerhouse at this level?

"Who are you?" Vegeta demanded coldly, caution woven into his voice.

Shinju looked down at them from above, taking in these two classic Saiyan silhouettes.

The ki pouring off them was truly powerful.

More condensed, more violent than any chakra he'd ever seen in the ninja world—this was exactly what he wanted.

Shinju didn't answer Vegeta's question.

He simply raised his hand.

And made a taunting gesture at the two below.

"Saiyans, if you've got the guts, come on."

"Let me see just how much weight this so-called warrior race really carries."

Before the words even finished—

Shinju vanished instantly.

Hiraishin no Jutsu!

In the next second, he appeared right beside Nappa.

High-density chakra condensed in his fist—merged with the Tremor-Tremor Fruit's vibration power.

The rule fragment he'd obtained in the pirate world had already been transformed into part of his own ability set. He could use it as naturally as breathing now—surpassing even Whitebeard at his peak.

He threw a punch.

Space shattered.

Since he was here, he'd use this bald head as the first test.

The battle erupted on the spot.
