Chapter 166 - Chapter 166

The battlefield was split into multiple fronts.

On one front, Urashiki was enjoying the feeling far too much.

The red fishing rod in his hand flicked lightly.

Time, under his control, became clay he could knead at will.

The two natives before him—one called Hashirama, the other Madara—were, in his eyes, nothing more than slightly stronger ants.

He would hook the white-haired man's chakra first.

The hook had already reached the back of the target's neck.

Urashiki could practically see it—chakra drained dry, shock on the man's face, followed by despair.

In the next instant, the attack missed.

A flame fan appeared out of nowhere, precisely batting away his hook.

Madara stood there, the purple Rinnegan in his eyes not showing the slightest ripple.

How was that possible?

Urashiki's mind couldn't comprehend it.

He had calculated everything.

But it didn't matter.

Time could be redone.

He activated his ability, and the scene around him rapidly rewound.

Everything returned to three seconds earlier.

This time, he chose a new angle of attack, slipping in from Madara's blind spot.

He would strike the black-haired man.

This man's Wood Style was troublesome—he had to be dealt with first.

The hook shot out again, silent and unseen.

A guaranteed hit.

Urashiki believed it completely.

And yet—an arm burst up from the ground beneath him, seizing his ankle.

The hand was made of wood, hard as iron.

A Wood clone.

Hashirama's.

When?

How did he know Urashiki would appear here?

Cold sweat seeped from Urashiki's forehead.

He rewound time again.

Five seconds.

Ten seconds.

No matter how far back he went, no matter how tricky the angle he chose—

Madara's Rinnegan always saw through his intent first, and the flame fan always appeared at exactly the right moment.

Hashirama's Wood clones were everywhere too, as though traps had been planted in every "past" where Urashiki might possibly show up.

The authority to toy with time, in front of these two men, became a joke.

This was a game of foreknowledge and counter-foreknowledge.

And he was the piece that had been completely read.

Urashiki panted. He couldn't accept it.

"A time-twisting clown."

Madara's voice carried no emotion at all.

With a light shake, the flame fan knocked Urashiki's hook aside.

In Madara's Rinnegan, Urashiki's miserable figure was reflected clearly.

"In front of me, your past and your future have nowhere to hide."

Those words shattered Urashiki's last line of mental defense.

He wanted to flee.

Then Hashirama's warm voice sounded behind him.

"It's already too late."

"Mokuton: Karyukai Kōrin (Wood Style: Flowering Tree World Arrival)."

The earth began to quake violently.

Countless massive vines erupted from the ground, growing madly.

Within the forest, enormous flowers bloomed everywhere.

Urashiki tried to use his rod to steal Hashirama's chakra and break the technique.

The line shot out—yet it stirred no waves at all.

A far greater, purer Sage chakra surged back from Hashirama's body in reverse.

Worse still, that power traveled along the line, surging straight into Urashiki's own body.

Urashiki felt like his arm was about to be torn apart.

Vines wrapped toward him from all directions, sealing every path of retreat.

Shinju's awareness flowed through this battlefield.

[Target Urashiki has been suppressed. Threat level lowered.]

[Combat data analysis complete: Rinnegan possesses priority insight against time-based dojutsu. Wood Style clones possess extremely strong battlefield lockdown ability. This combination plan is effective.]

His thoughts didn't linger. They switched instantly to another region.

There, it was an ocean of puppets.

Several thousand standardized Otsutsuki puppets formed a tightly packed military formation and advanced forward.

They had no emotion and no sense of pain—pure killing machines.

[Puppet unit: fan-shaped formation, moving toward C3 zone.]

[Recommendation: Minato, Tobirama-sama—execute "Cleaner" plan.]

[Coordinate data chain sent.]

In Minato's eyes, the world was frozen.

His body flickered with golden light.

He appeared beside a specially made kunai.

A Rasengan formed in his palm and slammed into a puppet's chest.

The puppet exploded.

Before the shrapnel even finished scattering, Minato was already gone.

In the next moment, he appeared on the other end of the battlefield.

Another puppet dropped instantly.

Where the golden flash passed, destruction followed.

Tobirama's style was completely different.

His movement was blue—ghostlike.

He didn't need coordinates prepared in advance.

Every time he swung his blade, he left a Hiraishin (Flying Thunder God) formula on the puppet he cut.

Slash.

Leave the formula.

Teleport.

Slash again.

This was slaughter turned into art.

Golden and blue flashes wove freely through the puppet legion, crossing into a net of death.

The puppet numbers plummeted at a visible pace.

In the face of absolute speed, quantity meant nothing.

Hiraishin (Flying Thunder God), in the hands of these two space-time masters, became the most efficient battlefield harvesting machine.

Minato paused amid a field of puppet wreckage, kunai in hand.

Tobirama appeared beside him, white hair fluttering in the wind.

They exchanged a glance—no words needed.

Shinju's awareness switched again.

[Puppet unit destruction rate exceeds 80%. Threat neutralized.]

[Final threat target locked: Lava Behemoth.]

[Energy level analysis: Kage++ tier. Possesses wide-area terrain destruction capability.]

[Order issued: Naruto, Sasuke—initiate "Susanoo Kyubi" linked plan.]

A beast of molten lava roared.

With every step it took, the terrain warped and mutated.

A chakra construct split off by Momoshiki—pure destruction given form.

Naruto stood before it, small as a grain of sand.

He could feel the scorching heat waves.

He could see villagers fleeing in terror.

Golden chakra burst from his body like a burning sun.

"ROAR!"

The Kyubi's howl shook the sky.

A gigantic golden Nine-Tails chakra avatar rose from the ground, as tall as the lava beast.

Naruto stood atop the Nine-Tails' head, eyes unshakably firm.

On the other side, Sasuke's Sharingan spun.

Purple energy rose from his body.

Bones… meridians… flesh… armor…

A purple war god—Perfect Susanoo—appeared beside the Nine-Tails, a bow in its hands.

Naruto looked at Sasuke.

Sasuke looked back at Naruto.

Fated rivals—now, the most reliable of comrades.

"Let's go, Sasuke!"

"Yeah."

Naruto clasped his hands together. Vast Sage chakra fused with the Kyubi's chakra.

A colossal Rasenshuriken condensed in his hands.

The cutting force of Wind Release made space itself tremble.

Sasuke's Susanoo drew its bow.

On the string was not an ordinary arrow—

But black flames.

Amaterasu.

An inextinguishable fire, shaped into the form of an arrow.

"Not enough," Sasuke's voice echoed inside Naruto's mind.

"…Fuse them."

Naruto didn't hesitate for even a moment.

He controlled the massive golden Nine-Tails and hurled the Super Giant Rasenshuriken straight toward Susanoo.

The purple war god extended its hand and caught that destructive sphere steadily.

Then Sasuke placed the arrow of black flames right into the Rasenshuriken's core.

Wind feeds fire.

In an instant, Amaterasu's black flames fused into the Rasenshuriken.

The high-speed spinning chakra blades became a black storm of death.

"Senpo: Wīa Susa no O: Chō Ōdama Rasenshuriken (Sage Art: Majestic Attire Susanoo: Super Giant Rasenshuriken)!"

They roared the technique name together.

The purple war god aimed the fused attack—mountain-destroying power—at the lava behemoth ahead.

Fire.

The black storm-star, trailing a long tail of flame, struck the lava beast in the chest in an instant.

The behemoth raised a massive arm to block.

The moment it touched the black storm, the arm silently dissolved.

The black Rasenshuriken pierced straight through its body.

The behemoth's motion froze.

A huge hollow opened in the center of its torso.

From the hollow's edge, black flames spread, rapidly devouring its lava-formed body.

A silent annihilation.

The gigantic lava behemoth, under Amaterasu's burning, turned into a field of dull black crystal—then shattered into dust.

On the ground, the battle settled.

Shinju's awareness withdrew and refocused on what was before him.

His previous creation sword strike had already driven Momoshiki into a sorry state—Momoshiki had only barely managed to block it by using everything he had.

Momoshiki's expression had turned ugly.

The pieces and trump cards he had prepared so carefully had been destroyed in an extremely short time by those "lower lifeforms" he despised.

This was not the war he had imagined.

Momoshiki's blood-red Rinnegan locked onto Shinju.

"You… should die."

Shinju looked at him calmly.

The cleanup was finished.

Now it was time to deal with the main course.
