Chapter 164 - Chapter 164

As Madara's exam ended, the alarms kept blaring. Divine Court headquarters was already in a state of extreme tension.

"Alert! Highest-level threat! Repeat—highest-level threat!"

"Unknown spatial fluctuation detected! Coordinates locked: outside lunar orbit!"

"Energy readings cannot be calculated! Exceeding maximum threshold!"

Data streams from the moon base flashed across the main screen.

All Allied high command stood at their posts.

In the command center, the only sound was the operators' frantic keyboard tapping.

Tsunade braced both hands on the console, eyes locked on the red dot on-screen as it continuously expanded.

The red dot was charging toward Earth in a straight line, making no evasive maneuvers at all.

It was the arrogant declaration of a higher-dimensional lifeform.

The Fourth Raikage A stood beside her, veins bulging on his thick, muscular arms.

Gaara stood in the shadows, the gourd on his back utterly still.

Shinju stood at the highest point of the command center, looking down over everything.

His expression didn't change at all—as if an alarm that could herald the end of the world couldn't shake his mind.

Or rather, this scene was already within his expectations, and everything he'd done before had been preparation for this moment.

"Once the moon base receives the order, switch to the Tenseigan's remote observation perspective and project the footage directly onto the main screen."

"Yes, Commander!"

The order was executed instantly, without the slightest delay.

The main screen displayed the deep cosmos—magnificent and calm—making humanity and Earth seem even more insignificant.

The camera zoomed rapidly, passing through an asteroid belt and over lonely stars.

Soon, something appeared at the center of the frame.

It wasn't any known spacecraft.

It looked like a massive excavated tree root—twisted and knotted—forming a crude yet eerie "star raft."

Three figures stood atop it, their outlines visible.

The leader had pale skin and a pair of savage horns on his head.

He wore a hunting robe, his posture unmistakably arrogant. Behind him were two subordinates.

One was burly, muscles coiled and thick.

The other was smaller—dressed like some kind of fisherman—holding a red fishing rod, a smile on his face.

At first glance, it really was… distinctive.

But the command center was dead silent.

No one laughed.

Everyone wore a heavy expression.

The pressure the three figures brought was suffocating—real and absolute.

Who were they? Where did they come from? What did they want?

Those three questions struck the soul.

Fear of the unknown was more terrifying than any enemy you already understood.

Shinju's mind worked at full speed, the system interface on his retina refreshing madly.

[Target Locked]

[Matching Data…]

[Match Successful!]

[Individual Identified: Otsutsuki Momoshiki.]

[Individual Identified: Otsutsuki Kinshiki.]

[Individual Identified: Otsutsuki Urashiki.]

A torrent of information poured into his mind.

These names belonged to the legendary "star-devouring clan"—the source of chakra, and also the ender of all things.

"Display the analysis data in real time on the screen," Shinju issued a new order.

In the next second, the main screen split into several sections.

The images of the trio were frozen, and detailed text appeared beside them.

[Otsutsuki Momoshiki]

[Abilities: Right-hand Rinnegan (absorbs ninjutsu/chakra), left-hand Rinnegan (amplifies and releases ninjutsu), Byakugan, chakra fruit production…]

[Otsutsuki Kinshiki]

[Abilities: monstrous strength, weapon creation, space-time ninjutsu…]

[Otsutsuki Urashiki]

[Abilities: Yomotsu Hirasaka, time freeze, chakra fishing line…]

"Absorb ninjutsu…" Jiraiya stared at the bizarre red Rinnegan in Momoshiki's right palm, as if he were seeing the bane of all ninjutsu.

For shinobi, an enemy who could absorb ninjutsu meant something self-evident.

It was like when they fought Pain—one of the Paths could absorb techniques, and only taijutsu truly worked.

"Chakra fruit… they came for the Shinju!" Onoki's body trembled.

This was a harvest.

They were farmers, and the entire Earth—along with all life on it—was nothing but fruit in their field, waiting to be reaped.

"But if that's the case… how can we even fight?" a young jonin muttered, his voice filled with despair.

His words voiced what everyone was thinking.

Against enemies like gods, human resistance felt so powerless.

The atmosphere in the command center sank into suffocating oppression.

Defeatism began spreading like a virus.

Then Shinju's voice rang out again.

"Why panic? I'm here. Everyone's here."

"The enemy is strong—this was fully expected. We've even prepared for this for years, for this exact day."

Shinju's gaze swept over everyone present—from the legendary Kage to the nameless staff at the consoles.

"Our world is getting stronger—strong enough to attract even stronger predators."

"But that doesn't mean we're going to bare our necks and wait to die."

"Are you willing to hand over the fruits of your labor… and your lives?!"

"No! We won't!" The roar spread through the crowd, wave after wave.

His figure was projected onto the massive screen, facing the pale "god" from afar.

"All forces, listen up!"

Shinju's voice boomed through the loudspeakers—then through the communications network, reaching every corner of the shinobi continent.

"This is not a drill! I repeat—this is not a drill!"

Every shinobi unit on standby, every force evacuating civilians, every battle group stationed at fortresses—everyone heard the notice at the same time.

"The 'God-Slaying' plan is now at maximum response level!"

"All combat units, immediately enter your designated battle positions! Do not panic!"

"First through Third Units: defend Konoha territory! Fourth through Sixth Units: deploy the encirclement barrier! Seventh through Ninth Units: prepare the aerial intercept sequence!"

"All Kage-level combat power: enter the 'Spear of Heaven' strike sequence!"

"All Tailed Beasts: release second-stage forms and prepare for beyond-visual-range Tailed Beast Bomb saturation barrages!"

"Keep the enemy outside our homeland—our dictionary has no retreat. Fight!"

Order after order poured from Shinju's mouth without hesitation.

The oppressive fear was swept away by that chain of commands.

The name "God-Slaying Plan" itself represented their resolve.

"Our enemy…" Shinju stared at the star raft growing closer and closer on-screen.

"…is already at our doorstep!"

Above Konoha, the sky suddenly changed.

The star raft—formed from Shinju-like roots—slowly emerged from a tear in space, hovering directly above the Hokage Rock.

Inside Konoha, countless villagers looked up, terror written all over their faces.
