Chapter 75 - Chapter 75: A Thick Fog of Mystery

The moment Su Yuqing pressed the publish button, the internet world seemed to be bombarded with a depth charge.

Initially, several independent bloggers and overseas accounts with large followings almost simultaneously released a series of bombshell articles and file links pointing to Xingyao Entertainment and Lu Tianyu. The titles were increasingly sensational:

"Xingyao Entertainment's Dark Secrets: Money Laundering, Soul Control, and the Bloodstained Entertainment Industry"

"Decoding Lu Tianyu: From Band Lead Singer to Head of a Criminal Empire"

"The Truth Behind 87 Million Yuan Debt: A Young Man's Fall and Rebellion"

These contents were rapidly forwarded and spread, like a virus. Spectators, industry insiders, legal professionals, ordinary netizens… everyone was stunned by this sudden, information-packed, and seemingly irrefutable revelation.

The carefully constructed image of Xingyao Entertainment's business empire, faced with irrefutable evidence, shattered instantly like glass struck by a hammer. Lu Tianyu's refined facade was shattered, revealing his true colors: greedy, ruthless, and utterly indifferent to human life.

Public opinion erupted in uproar. The related topic surged to the top of trending lists on major platforms with unstoppable momentum, followed by countless "hot" headlines. Those online trolls and marketing accounts who had previously fueled the "accidental death while intoxicated" narrative fell silent instantly in the face of overwhelming public opinion and irrefutable evidence, some even secretly deleting their previous posts.

The scales of victory seemed to be tipping in favor of justice.

However, the fortress that Xingyao Entertainment and its backers had cultivated for years was not so easily breached.

The first counterattack was technical. Less than half an hour after the release, major domestic social media platforms experienced widespread "technical malfunctions." Searching for related topics became extremely difficult, displaying "Not displayed according to relevant laws and regulations"; forwarding and commenting functions were restricted; accounts that widely reposted the exposé were banned or even suspended for "violations." Clicking on the file links often resulted in "page not found" or "server error."

An invisible, powerful force is desperately trying to cover up the truth, attempting to close the curtain again on the scandal that has just been lifted.

Immediately following, a backlash from public opinion began. Some seemingly "neutral" and "professional" media outlets and legal experts stepped forward, questioning the "legality" and "authenticity" of the evidence presented.

"Can evidence obtained through illegal means be used as evidence in court?"

"Could some of the audio and video recordings have been edited or forged?"

"Is the one-sided disclosure fair? Shouldn't Xingyao Entertainment also be given an opportunity to respond and defend itself?"

Meanwhile, new, misleading "dirt" was thrown out. This time, the target was directly Su Yuqing herself and her team. Several manipulated photos implying Su Yuqing's ties to foreign forces and acceptance of unexplained funds began circulating online; some anonymous "former colleagues" came forward, accusing her of "using any means necessary for news," "habitually fabricating facts," and having a "chaotic private life"...

Even more shockingly, an open letter purportedly from "some employees of Xingyao Entertainment" began circulating online, vehemently denouncing the allegations as "malicious slander," claiming the company had always "operated legally and cared for its employees," that Lu Tianyu was a "beloved leader," and that Lin Chen's actions were "self-inflicted due to his own misconduct." The letter was written with great emotion, attempting to evoke internal unity and external sympathy.
