Spira city was a small city located at the northern reach of the Kamar continent, so it was pretty isolated. Basically at one edge of the human domain.
One would think such a city would be protected by a garrison of powerful individuals, but such was not the case.
Instead, the strongest aetherial residing in the city was the city lord who was only an Eta ranked aetherial. And with the way he was, the me who had just transmigrated would absolutely mess him up.
It wasn't that the city produced no talented individuals, no, far from it actually. The city was just like a country side back on earth. Talented individuals would migrate to other other big cities to look for greener pastures, or a better life.
Especially youths who would want to go to the institutes to learn better about their powers and whatnot. It was a cycle that would never end. Jayden and her ring of heretics were based here due to that very fact. The city couldn't defend against them.
