"Welcome back, Anthony. Thought the explosion killed you? Nah, I need you alive for now. I need you to experience suffering so Katherine can watch you die. That's my true revenge."
I was beaten badly and bloodied up, but still alive. My mind was working and calculating, aiming to buy time.
"She won't come. She'll stay safe to protect Rose. You are the one on the losing end here." I said, trying to see if he'd take the bait.
Anton laughed out loud. "She'll come, mothers always come. Love makes them stupid and predictable. When she comes, I'll kill her too. You both get to watch each other suffer."
