An emergency lockdown was implemented at Marvin Ventures, and every employee was investigated. DNA tests were equally demanded.
"Anyone refusing a DNA test gets fired. We make no exceptions. We find Thomas's child and end the threat." I instructed.
The employees were terrified, confused, and angry. "This is illegal and an invasion of privacy!" Some of them spoke out.
"Then quit. But refusing means guilt, and your cooperation means innocence." I said it and didn't care if it sounded like a threat at the time.
49 employees in total were all tested, and the results were expected in 72 hours. As we waited, the tension was unbearable.
Back at home, Katherine was visibly stressed. "This is destroying the company. The employees hate us, the clients are nervous, and the board is questioning our leadership." She said, her voice filled with anxiety.
