Chapter 13 - 13.

Anyway, it was a pity he didn't get to see the little girl seasick. He hoped to use Enchantment Magic on her once she got used to it. Would she be cute when she got seasick?

The fishing boats sped quickly, but as they neared their destination, they slowed down.

Splash, splash… Even before the boat stopped, waves churned in the sea ahead. The strange fish thrashed, revealing its body, and a tail as large as the boat came into view.

"The iron chains are tied to the reef in the sea. Usually, we use tranquilizers to keep it calm. I don't know why the tranquilizers weren't used this time, but it's clear that if it thrashes a few more times, it will break free," the client nervously reminded.

These past two days, the strange fish had cost them a lot of effort and money. If it escaped, all of their work would be wasted.

Aux understood his meaning—he wanted him to deal with the strange fish now.

"Can the boat get any closer?" Aux asked. The fishing boat was too far from the strange fish. Unless he used the Enchantment Magic of Flight on himself, he wouldn't be able to get within casting range. Aux had said he didn't want to fight, only assist others, so it was best not to use Enchantment Magic on himself. If there was truly no other way, he would have no choice but to act personally.

"I'm afraid not. The waves stirred up by that strange fish are too big. If we get any closer, our fishing boat will capsize," the client sighed helplessly.

Sigh… Aux also frowned in distress. He should have teamed up with his guild members earlier. Now, did he really have to go against his initial intention and use Enchantment Magic on himself?

"How about Carla takes Big Brother Aux to fly over?" Wendy suggested cautiously.

Carla stared with wide eyes, utterly shocked. She didn't expect to be sold out by her good partner like this!

Wendy quickly explained, "The address I got is also nearby, but I haven't smelled or found any trace of Grandeeney. If this strange fish isn't dealt with, we won't be able to take the boat back. And if we fly back, Carla will be exhausted, right?"

Carla really wanted to retort. Although what you said makes perfect sense, I still feel like you're selling me out!

"Hmph…" Carla haughtily raised her head, then turned to Aux and said, "If you beg me, I can take you directly above the strange fish."

Absolutely not happening! Aux flatly refused. He had his pride too!

"Tsk…"

With his magic staff held upright before his eyes, Aux channeled the magic power in his body. As he chanted the incantation, a white light lit up around him.

The fishermen watched. It was their first time seeing a Mage use magic this closely. The white light on his body and the sudden freshness in the air constantly reminded them of the wonder of magic.

"The air suddenly became so fresh. This magic power feels a bit familiar." Wendy's head tilted slightly upward. She sniffed the air as the previously turbid scent was blown away by the wind. The surrounding magic power became highly active. This situation gave her a strong sense of déjà vu.

"Addition: Flight!"

[Ding! Detected the use of Enchantment Magic. Infinite Addition has been upgraded to: Flight Lv. MAX.]

Buzz… Since Wendy and the proud Carla were nearby, he took some care to first form a magic circle. The grayish-white magic circle appeared beneath Aux's feet. Strange and bizarre runes were carved within it, slowly rotating, then transforming into the flight attribute and acting upon his body.

"What!!!"

"It's Enchantment Magic!!!"

As Aux chanted the spell, Carla and Wendy let out sharp cries. Their eyes widened, and they looked at him with complex expressions. They clearly hadn't expected this kind of magic!

"I'm going." Aux had no time to deal with Wendy and Carla. With Flight active, he immediately soared into the sky and slowly arrived above the thrashing strange fish.

"Gurgle… Splash, splash~"

A fish that could grow so large naturally possessed some intelligence. Seeing someone approach, it immediately let out a strange cry, its massive body struggling violently. Each movement of its body made the iron chains clatter.

"A fish this big has probably become a spirit," Aux muttered. His magic staff rose again. A magic circle large enough to encompass the entire strange fish appeared and rotated clockwise.

"High-level Addition: Shrink!"

[Ding! Detected the use of Enchantment Magic. Infinite Addition has been upgraded to: Shrink Lv. MAX.]

The magic circle fell onto the strange fish. Each rotation shrank it by half, and after several rotations, it was reduced to a palm-sized fish. The iron chains naturally fell to the seabed.

After shrinking it, Aux grabbed the fish and returned to the fishing boat. The moment he landed, he casually tossed the fish out.

The client and the fishermen were stunned. They watched the tiny fish hopping on the deck, motionless, their minds rebooting as they compared the boat-sized beast to this palm-sized fish.

The client scratched his head, distressed. They had gone through so much trouble, only to bring back a palm-sized fish?

He couldn't believe it and stiffly asked, "Lord Aux, right? Does this strange fish confuse people? Was it actually this small all along, and the large one was just our illusion?"

Aux didn't understand why he asked. "It's not an illusion. If you ask me, this strange fish should live deep in the seabed; otherwise it wouldn't grow so big."

So it really was that enormous…

The client swallowed and asked again, "Then after it shrinks… can it not change back?"

Aux immediately understood and chuckled, reassuring them, "Don't worry, it will return to its original size in five hours."

Phew… All the fishermen sighed in relief. Good thing it would change back. Otherwise, how would they explain it?

"Hurry back! We're going against the wind on the return trip, so five hours might be a bit tight." The client calculated. If they couldn't get back in time, the fish would definitely escape once it returned to its original size.

The fishermen reacted and immediately ordered the sailors to move at full speed.

"Hey! Aux, what kind of magic did you just use?" Carla finally asked for Wendy.

Aux smiled. "It's an auxiliary type of Enchantment Magic, which enhances strength or achieves certain effects by adding various attributes to people and objects. It's roughly divided into Normal Addition, High-level Addition, and Extreme Addition. It's a very free and interesting type of magic."

Enchantment Magic has three levels?

Wendy's mind was muddled. She only knew the simplest Normal Addition, and only in three categories: speed, attack power, and defense.

This was the first time she had heard that Enchantment Magic also had advanced uses.
