After hearing the system's notification, I looked to my right. I noticed stairs leading to the first floor of the manor. However, the real focus was on the stairs themselves. There sat a stunning doll with pink hair and a white dress, a smile fixed on her face. I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow, is that doll from Conjuring?"
I nearly jumped in shock. The doll resembled Annabelle from Conjuring, with just a couple of differences: her blue eyes and pink hair, along with a less sinister smile. Looking at her smile, I felt a strange pity, as if she was smiling while crying at the same time.
I cautiously walked toward the doll and picked it up. Examining her closely, I did not sense anything unusual; she appeared normal. So, I asked the system for assistance.
Vik: "System, can you tell me if this doll is haunted or something else? I have a feeling she's not ordinary."
System: "Host, I think this doll may be haunted by an evil spirit or ghost, but it's not a major concern. My sensors do not detect any danger. It seems to be a simple haunted doll that you can cleanse with a basic light spell. For extra safety, consider using a sixth or seventh-grade purification spell."
I felt confused by the system's response because the doll gave me a strange feeling I couldn't quite describe. So, I asked again,
"System, are you sure? What if it's some kind of anomaly like Pushpa? Maybe your sensors are off."
System: "Host, I know you're being paranoid, but you need to understand my position. I've already mentioned that my connection to the main system is cut off. I can't access any new information. Based on what I have in my database, I can confirm that this doll is not an anomaly on Pushpa's level. At most, it might be some remnant of a higher being."
With the system's reassurance, I decided not to dig deeper. If worse comes to worst, I could just burn the doll with my strange fire. I thought about using some methods to trace the doll's origin and check if it posed any threat to me or my disciples. But I was tired, so I returned to the living room and placed the doll beside my bed before falling asleep peacefully.

After Vik fell asleep, the doll seemed to be possessed by something as it began to move towards him in a strange manner. Once it reached him, the doll attempted to pluck his hair, but it froze, stopped in its tracks by a feline creature. A black cat, as dark as midnight with bright green eyes that glowed like the moon, stood before the doll. The cat stared at it, and the doll ceased its movements, dropping to the ground. The cat picked up the doll in its mouth and carried it to the small bed prepared for her, where it curled up and began to lick the doll like it was a toy.
Meanwhile, far from Vik's residence, a ritual was underway. The area was shrouded in red mist, resembling the summit of a barren mountain. What was more unsettling were the four obsidian pillars rising from the mountaintop, reaching toward the heavens while their tops were hidden in mist. In the center of these pillars was a peculiar gate outlined but lacking a door. Blood-red chains connected the gate to the pillars, binding it securely.
In front of the gate stood dozens of figures in black robes engaged in some kind of ritual. They were pulling out various strange items—hair of different colors, clothing of various sizes, and many other unusual things. It seemed they were gathering items from multiple people for their rituals. Suddenly, something mysterious occurred: one by one, these figures began to fade away, vanishing from reality without a trace. They tried all kinds of spells, items, and even summoned unknown entities to halt this strange phenomenon, but nothing worked. One by one, they vanished, leaving only the eerie gate bound by the four pillars atop that mountain.
As they disappeared, the chains holding the gate rattled as if an earthquake was taking place. After a while, the commotion settled, returning silence to the mountaintop.

I yawned and woke up in the living room of the manor I bought yesterday. I looked around and saw nothing unusual. The manor was just as I left it, filled with dirt. Today was the day I planned to renovate it. However, I checked my system watch and saw it was 4 AM. Glancing at my disciples, who were still asleep, I decided to wake them up.
Then I remembered the doll I found last night. I looked for it but couldn't find it. Finally, I spotted Pushpa, my lazy cat, sleeping with the doll in her paws. She looked comfortable, so I thought it would be a good idea to give the doll to Pushpa as a toy after I performed some purification spells on it. I noticed the doll seemed to shiver in Pushpa's grip. Perhaps it was just beacuse her breathing.
