After Sino spent the entire day with Epsilon, he bid farewell to Epsilon the next day.
After all, his identity was still a student of Midgar Magic Swordsman Academy.
It was still during school, and he couldn't be absent for too long.
Sino returned to the royal capital of Midgar Kingdom in an hour.
At this time, the sky over the capital was gloomy, with flashes of lightning and thunder, followed by a torrential downpour.
Sino walked down the streets of the capital, the rain not even dampening his clothes.
Upon returning to his residence, Milia had already prepared a change of clothes for Sino.
Milia's idea was good: prepare dry clothes for her master when it rained.
But it didn't seem to be of much use.
"Master, Gamma-sama has sent an invitation!"
"Oh?"
Sino took the invitation.
Gamma invited him to check out a newly opened bar. There was also a membership card inside.
"Let's go, let's see how the bar is decorated!"
Sino said to Milia.
"Yes, Master!"
Sino reached out and stroked Milia's head.
"You don't need to be so deferential. You've known me for so long, don't you understand my personality? You can be more casual! I've never treated you as a servant; I only see you as my woman."
"Okay!"
Milia reached out and hugged Sino.
"I've missed Master so much. Even though it's only been a little over a day since I last saw him, I feel incredibly lonely!"
"Then I'll take you with me to other places!"
"Master is so good to me!"
Outside, the wind howled.
Rain poured down.
Sino and Milia left the house.
Milia couldn't avoid getting wet like Sino, so she brought an umbrella.
Milia clearly wanted to hold the umbrella for Sino.
Sino also didn't want to disappoint Milia's kindness.
The two walked hand in hand, sharing an umbrella, down the main street of the royal capital.
Sino used his magic to sense Alpha's location.
He had never been to that place before; it must be the bar.
Sino passed through several alleys and arrived at the end of one.
At the end, he saw a door.
Two words were written on the door:
"Bar!"
Sino pushed open the door.
The space inside was suddenly bright and open.
The room was very spacious.
There was a doorbell on the door.
When the door was pushed open, a pleasant ringing sound was heard.
There were only five or six people in the bar, and all their gazes turned towards Sino.
Sino recognized that several of them were members of Shadow Garden.
He looked around at the bar's decorations, which could only be described as luxurious.
This was probably the most high-class bar Sino had ever seen; the paintings on the wall alone were worth hundreds of millions of Zenny.
A typical wall lamp probably cost 5 million Zenny.
The carpet was clearly made of extremely expensive beast hide.
Stepping on it felt as soft as stepping on a bed.
"Milia, can you tell what material this carpet is made of?"
"This should be made from the fur of a Poison Fang Swift Tiger from the Black Forest. This one carpet should be worth about fifty million Zenny!"
If Shadow saw it, he would probably die of envy.
After entering the establishment, Sino went to the bar counter.
"Is there a menu?"
The female bartender at the counter handed the menu to Sino.
The bartender had short golden hair and was an elf.
Sino remembered her name was Kai.
Next to her was a waitress, a Dark Elf named Omega.
Both of them were outstanding in strength within Shadow Garden.
They had been given names, not referred to by numbers.
Sino looked at the menu; the names were more appealing than the last.
"Sea of Stars"
"Love at First Sight"
"Cuba Libre"
"Bloody Mary"
"Death in the Afternoon"
... The prices of these drinks were also more outrageous than the last, with the cheapest ones costing tens of thousands.
Just looking at them, you couldn't really tell much.
"A Glass of Mirror Flower, Water Moon!"
"Please wait a moment!" the short-haired golden elf, Kai, replied.
She picked up the tools, looking very skilled, but her movements were a bit stiff.
"Is she nervous?"
"That's right, after all, I'm essentially the boss of Shadow Garden. It's probably the same feeling as a worker in my previous life encountering a big company's CEO or something!"
"Milia, you sit down too! See what you'd like to drink."
Sino handed the menu to Milia.
Milia took the menu.
"A Glass of Till Death Do Us Part!"
"Okay, please wait a moment!"
Kai replied.
Soon, the prepared drink was brought before Sino.
It was a blue cocktail with a slice of lemon that looked very much like a moon. Ice cubes floated in the drink, appearing to reflect light.
Sino didn't know much about it, but he had to admit the drink looked very good.
He took a sip, and the taste was quite good.
At this moment, a long-haired golden elf came up behind Sino.
She sat in the seat next to Sino.
"A Glass of Manhattan."
Sino didn't even look but knew it was Alpha.
"How do you feel about the atmosphere here?" Alpha asked.
"Noble, elegant, grand, magnificent, opulent!"
"To receive your praise, it seems this bar is indeed well-done!"
At this moment, the doorbell rang, and Sid pushed open the door and walked in.
Sid wanted to find Sino, and through magic sensing, he discovered Sino was here, so he came.
Shadow was elusive, appearing and disappearing without a trace; Alpha couldn't find him even when she tried.
As soon as Sid entered the bar, he felt its overwhelming class.
He walked to the bar counter, pretending to be knowledgeable.
He remembered a drink name a spy had said in a movie.
"A Glass of Vodka Martini."
"Okay, please wait a moment!"
Kai placed the prepared drink in front of Milia.
"Your Till Death Do Us Part!"
Milia's drink was red, and from above, a pink heart could be seen.
Milia took a small sip, and the pink heart remained.
It hadn't distorted or changed shape at all due to Milia's action.
Shadow naturally sat on the stool in front of the bar counter.
"Dark currents are stirring again in the darkness!"
Shadow spoke some incomprehensible words.
Alpha ignored Shadow's words.
"Shadow, here's your premium membership card!"
Alpha handed over the membership card.
Shadow took the card and fiddled with it in his hand, like twirling a pen. He rapidly spun the card in his hand.
Then the card suddenly disappeared.
Even Alpha, who was so close, couldn't figure out how the card vanished.
Kai delivered the Manhattan to Alpha.
"Sorry for the wait, your Manhattan."
Alpha elegantly picked up the glass and took a sip.
"The taste is very good. Phantom, would you like to try my drink?"
Alpha looked at Sino and asked.
Sino took a small sip; it was indeed good.
"This seems like an indirect kiss, doesn't it?"
Kai leaned over from a distance and whispered to Omega beside her.
"Exactly! The two adults have such an intimate relationship! They really make a good match!"
