Volo's appearance was just a minor interlude during the journey.
Kamado, Adaman, and Irida were curious about why Cynthia looked so similar to Volo, yet Cynthia continuously claimed to be foreign and ignorant of this place.
Even if they actively inquired, it was difficult to get an answer.
Volo's reaction was equally genuine, clearly unaware of any connection between them.
The group could only temporarily keep this confusion to themselves.
Despite the resemblance, there was a more urgent matter to handle, which was calming the King of the Obsidian Fieldlands, Kleavor!
The party left Jubilife Village and quickly arrived at the entrance of the Obsidian Fieldlands.
Kamado stopped here.
"Team Galactic has other affairs to handle, so the next actions are up to you,"
Kamado looked at Ash and Cynthia.
"I hope that next time we meet, I can hear that the King has returned to normal."
After speaking, he turned directly back to Jubilife Village.
Irida watched as Kamado's figure gradually faded into the distance, showing little surprise.
Kamado always believed that matters should be handled by the most suitable person.
Since he couldn't personally take action against Kleavor, following them would only mean observing from afar.
Rather than spending time there, he preferred to return to Jubilife Village to handle Team Galactic's affairs.
Adaman agreed with this approach.
Time is one of the most important things; using each segment on the right thing is inherently a reasonable choice.
However, today Adaman must watch the calming process firsthand.
Only by confirming that Ash and Cynthia can defeat Kleavor and use that special power to restore him to normal, can he confidently entrust the situation in the Crimson Mirelands to them.
Professor Laventon was also part of the group.
For him, getting the chance to observe the King in a frenzied state up close was an irresistible opportunity for investigation.
After Kamado left, the remaining five continued forward along the road of the Obsidian Fieldlands.
Both Adaman and Irida could only move on foot.
Cynthia pondered for a moment and ultimately decided not to have Ash blow the White Jade Flute to summon Wyrdeer.
Riding Wyrdeer ahead and leaving others behind to walk would be somewhat impolite.
"The warden of Grandtree Arena is one of our Pearl Clan members."
Irida introduced the situation of Grandtree Arena to Ash and Cynthia while hurrying.
"His name is Lian, although young, he is an exceptionally excellent warden of the Pearl Clan."
"Lian has always been responsible for taking care of Kleavor and knows the King's usual habits better than others."
"However, he greatly admires the King." Irida said with a hint of helplessness in her tone, "Even though Kleavor has started to harm the stationed personnel, Lian finds it hard to accept outsiders meddling with the King."
Ash nodded thoughtfully and guessed, "He doesn't want to harm his partner?"
"You could say that." Irida softly replied, "But if we continue to delay, Kleavor and those around him will be in greater danger."
The group continued their journey and finally reached the entrance of Grandtree Arena.
A short young boy had been waiting nearby.
The boy wore a wide white hat, predominantly white clothing, black tight pants and white boots.
He looked only a little over ten years old, with a height far shorter than those around him.
Yet standing at the entrance of Grandtree Arena, the boy's expression was serious, his waist adorned with the insignia of a Pearl Clan warden.
This boy was indeed the warden of Grandtree Arena, Lian.
Lian first saw Adaman in the group.
His face just turned cold when he then saw Irida standing nearby, with the chill on Lian's face swiftly dissipating as he quickly came forward to greet.
"Captain Irida! Why have you personally come?"
Before Irida could answer, Lian's gaze fell on Ash and Cynthia.
The two were wearing Team Galactic's uniforms. Lian's smile instantly diminished.
"Who are they? Grandtree Arena is managed by the Pearl Clan; why are people from Team Galactic following you here?"
Although he didn't openly express his suspicion, he had already guessed the duo's purpose.
Now, if Team Galactic sent people to Grandtree Arena, it could only be for the frenzied Kleavor.
"My name is Ash." Ash stepped forward and extended his hand to Lian, "This is my sister Cynthia. It's nice to meet you."
Lowering his eyes, Lian glanced at Ash's offered hand, then at his face.
Though not fond of interference at Grandtree Arena from outsiders, Lian was unwilling to forgo basic politeness.
Eventually, Lian reached out and shook Ash's hand.
Ash couldn't help but gaze at Lian for a moment longer.
Such a young boy becoming a warden of the Pearl Clan was indeed surprising to him.
"I feel like you're thinking something inappropriate." Lian squinted slightly.
"Of course not." Ash immediately grinned.
"I just think it's amazing that Warden Lian is so young and yet manages Grandtree Arena so well."
The suspicion on Lian's face vanished rapidly.
"Definitely, I'm the youngest, most talented warden in the Pearl Clan!"
Lian lifted his head, visibly improving his attitude towards Ash, while Cynthia stood beside him with a subtle smile.
Irida interrupted their conversation outright.
"That's enough small talk for now, Lian. How is Kleavor doing today?"
