Chapter 642 - Chapter 347: Third Match, Crystal Onix's Debut, and the Audience's Amazement!

The Kecleon hit by the Ice Punch was sent flying, tumbling over the rocky ground more than ten times before finally coming to a stop. This punch directly forced Kecleon out of its stealth state.

Although Kecleon hadn't lost its ability to fight, judging by its current state, it was obviously in a very poor condition. The most crucial thing was... Yuji simply couldn't comprehend why, despite Kecleon's incredible speed and attack speed, it was still caught by Snorlax and even struck first!

Yet another inexplicable occurrence unfolded before Yuji's eyes, what a load of crap!

Every time such unscientific events occurred, they shattered Yuji's worldview and put him at a disadvantage in battles.

Under normal circumstances, whether it was the first Power-Up Punch or the second, both should have hit Snorlax accurately and inflicted significant damage.

It was even possible that Snorlax could have lost its ability to fight after being hit by two Power-Up Punches.

But now, the first Power-Up Punch had almost no effect, and the second one failed to compete with the opponent's attack speed!

Initially, Snorlax was unaware of Kecleon's presence behind it; it was Ash who alerted it.

Granted, Ash's warning was quick, and Snorlax trusted Ash's judgment completely, but... Snorlax's speed was still unbelievably fast!

As soon as it heard Ash's instruction, it turned around and used Ice Punch to hit Kecleon one step faster. Such speed is not something typical Snorlaxes possess, even at the Professional Junior Level.

Even if it were a level higher than Kecleon, it shouldn't have surpassed Kecleon's speed, so ultimately, Ash's Snorlax is just a freak!

"Now, Snorlax, use Mega Punch!" Ash threw a punch into the air as if he were on the battlefield himself.

"Snorlaaaax!" Snorlax leapt into the air, its height causing gasps among the audience, finding it hard to believe that this thousand-pound giant could jump so high.

"Get up, Kecleon!" Kecleon was still lying on the ground from the heavy Ice Punch blow, unmoved even by Yuji's shouts.

The next second, a shadow enveloped Kecleon, who sensed impending doom but couldn't move at all.

"Boom!!" A deafening noise echoed in the arena as the entire field seemed to shake with dust swirling everywhere, blocking everyone's view. But even without seeing, it was clear that Kecleon was likely in dire straits.

Moments later, the dust slowly settled, revealing the form of Kecleon. It had been sat on by Snorlax, its eyes swirling, having lost its capacity to battle. From Kecleon's current posture, it was hard to say whether it was defeated by the Mega Punch or directly squashed unconscious by Snorlax sitting on it.

This is simply a combination of Table Mountain Pressure and Mega Punch!

"Kecleon is unable to fight, Snorlax wins!" The referee waved the flag, declaring Snorlax's victory.

This also meant that Yuji had lost his second Pokémon.

"Come back, Kecleon, you've done your best." Yuji recalled Kecleon, offering words of encouragement.

It's not that Kecleon isn't strong enough; it's just that the opponent is too monstrous!

Snorlax was already thick-skinned and powerful, but Ash's Snorlax was an Hexagon Warrior; the typical weak defenses and slow speed of a Snorlax were simply not present in this one.

Its speed surpassed Pokémon of the same level, and its defensive power far exceeded that of the typical Snorlax. No wonder Ash's reputation outside is that of a freak Trainer with a freak Pokémon, and this assessment isn't without reason.

The Trainer breaks conventions, and the Pokémon does too. Today's battle is going to be an unprecedented bitter struggle!

Up to now, Ash hasn't even used the Pokémon that appeared at the Quartz Conference, not even one!

The Pokémon he's using are all new faces, which suggests two possibilities: either these Pokémon were captured by Ash earlier but never used, or they were caught by Ash after the Quartz Conference!

How long has it been since the Quartz Conference? About a month, right? If those Pokémon were newly captured by Ash, the speed of their growth is unbelievable; how was it done?

Yuji suppressed his doubts deeply within, then took out his next Pokéball: "Go, Onix!"

A flash of light revealed a Pokémon composed entirely of rocks, segment by segment forming a massive serpent.

This Onix was at a higher level than the previous two Pokémon, reaching the Professional Junior Level. Ash paused at the sight, then took out a Pokéball, retrieving his Snorlax: "Good job, Snorlax, come back for now."

After recalling Snorlax, Ash also took out his third Pokémon: "It's decided, Crystal Onix!"

"Roar!!" A tremendous roar echoed through the arena as a Crystal Onix appeared on Ash's side, identical in shape to Yuji's Onix but vastly different in form.
