After getting out of the clan area, Naoya looked around to see if anyone was looking at them before scooping Maki and Mai in his hands.
"Nii, fly?" asked Mai cutely.
"Fly Fly!!" cheered Maki.
Smiling at their adorable action, Naoya made a hand seal, and his shadow darkened as Sparkles, the Nue, came out of it. Strangely, the owl shikigami had a contraption on his back that seemed to be a seat for the two kids.
Placing the two girls in their seats before fastening their seat belts, Naoya got on top of the owl too and formed a hand seal once again.
[Emerge from the darkness, blacker than darkness. Purify that which is impure. Surround your master, conceal his presence.]
A miniature curtain barrier surrounded Naoya and the Nue, hiding the shikigami and the sorcerer from the eyes of other.
"Let's go Sparkles. Nii-san's house," said Naoya, making the shikgami nod and take flight.
"Waa!!!"
The girls were excited by the air hitting their faces opened their mouths playfully to let the air in.
Naoya closed their mouth instantly lest the two bite their tongues.
"No," chided Naoy.
Maki and Mai looked at the fun police with astonishment before the two puffed their cheeks in protest.
"Waa!!!"
Maki opened her mouth again, only for Naoya to close it.
Even more surprised at the audacity, Maki looked at Naoya with slight displeasure.
"No. Maki-chan is bad."
"Maki-chan good!!!" complained the kid.
"Mai-chan good?" asked Mai cutely.
"Mai-chan is good. She doesn't do bad things when told not to," complimented Naoya.
"Maki-chan good!!!" complained Maki, not feeling happy at being called bad, and shut her mouth tightly on her own.
"Wow. Such a good girl!" cheered Naoya and patted the two girls, making them smile proudly.
Seeing the two gullible kids, Naoya smirked.
Soon, the trio reached the Fushiguros' house, and after dropping the two little girls and playing with the little Megumi for a bit, Naoya departed for school. Though the waterworks from Maki and Mai made him waver to skip today, he resolved his heart.
Miyuki looked at the dramatic teen and wondered whether it was important to do this bit daily.
"Megumi, Maki, Mai. Naoya will come in the afternoon, don't need to cry," coaxed Misaki, but the girls continued to shed tears.
Megumi, on the other hand, looked at Miyuki with betrayal and wondered why he was included when he wasn't crying.

Back to Naoya:
Currently, Naoya was on his way to his middle school.
Today was his last day there, and he wanted to play with his friends for one last time. After this, he would join Jujutsu High and naturally drift apart from them.
Arriving in front of his middle school, Naoya looked around, trying to find someone familiar and immediately noticed a familiar person walking by.
"Hidenori!"
"Hm? Zenin-kun. Sup."
The brown haired bespactacled boy greeted Naoya and walked towards him.
"Sup. So, how are you feeling about the last day?"
"Who starts like that.... Kinda bad....I am going to an all-boys high school....my chance at romance is slim," muttered Hidenori in a depressed tone.
"...Damn, I wasn't thinking about that....Now I am realising that my chances are slim as well..." muttered Naoya, realising that Jujutsu High has even fewer students compared to normal schools.
The two boys sighed when suddenly Hidenori felt an arm wrap around his neck.
"What are you two so depressed about?"
"Yoshitake..." replied the depressed Hidenori and told his worries to the blond boy.
Hearing his words, Yoshitake joined the depressed duo, and the three started walking towards their class.
"...So you two are going to the same school?"
"Yup. Tadakuni too. What about you? Which school are you going to?"
"Don't know. My family is strict and might pull me out to go to some isolated place where people become uptight for the rest of their lives," replied Naoya, lying without even flinching.
"Seems sad. Will there be girls at least?" said Yoshitake.
"Hard to say..." replied Naoya.
Hidenori patted Naoya's shoulder, feeling that his life might be sadder than his.
The three of them entered their class, and Naoya spotted Izumi and Misaki already seated.
Seeing the two Naoya bid his farewell to the other two, who made their way towards Tadakuni, who was already present as well.
"Naoya. Good Morning," greeted Izumi with a smile.
"Izumi....cut your hair. You are going to be a high schooler now."
"Don't remind me of that! I still haven't accepted the reality that you won't be with me in high school!!! Besides, if I cut my hair, my tattoos and piercing will show!" complained Miyamura and clung to Naoya.
"Miyamura!! What about me!!" came a voice.
"Huh? Shindou....It's fine," replied Miyamura, instantly changing to a cold look.
"Gah! It hurts! Miyamura left me! Naoya!!! I challenge you to a duel!!! If I win, then I will claim Miyamura's heart!!!!" declared Shindou.
"Idiot! My heart already belongs to Naoya!" yelled Miyamura and walked upto Shindow and smacked his head.
"Default win!?!?" exclaimed Shindou and deflated in defeat.
"....What the hell is actually going on..." muttered Naoya.
"They are being idiots like usual. So? How is it going? Found the school you will be going to?" asked Misaki.
"The result isn't there yet. Still, it won't be as fun without you all there," replied Naoya with a sad smile.
"Oi! Don't be sad! It's not like we won't meet! You know where I live and my number, just give me a call and show up!" replied Misaki and smacked her chest proudly.
Naoya smiled at that.
Misaki and Izumi knew about his Jujutsu High ordeal, considering Naoya had to step in because a cursed spirit set up a base at Misaki's home after they had trouble.
Her father apparently left his family with a massive debt, and because of that, a lot of negative emotions converged in their home, making it a delectable place for cursed spirits. If not for Misaki consulting him, it might have turned into something bad.
Miyamura came to find out since he heard Misaki and Naoya talk about the situation back at her home.
Since then, Naoya made sure to instil in them the fact that telling about this to anyone was prohibited. They had troubles at first, though. Knowing their friend was a superpowered person was too much for them to digest. Still repeated head choppings and forehead flicks whenever it seemed like they might slip up did the job.
"Misaki-chan is going to become independent," muttered Naoya and bear hugged the girl.
"Oi! What do you mean by independent? Am I someone who needs supervision?!" asked Misaki and tried get out of the bear hug.
"Without me and Izumi around, you would probably go around beating boys and making their lives hell," muttered Naoya.
"...Only if they deserve to..." muttered Misaki, not being able to refute the claim.
"There, there. Misaki-chan is a good girl. Good girls don't beat others without reason."
"Ugh! Let go of me! Don't treat me like a child!!!" complained Misaki and tried to push Naoya away.
Seeing her futile struggle, Naoya looked at her face and smirked, making the girl even madder.
Not wanting to make her angrier, he let go of her and flicked her forehead.
"Ow! What was that for?"
"...Call me if you need help. Don't be shy, okay."
"Ugh, so clingy."
"That, my foolish child, is called friendship. Be glad that you are my friend."
"Hmph! It's you who should be glad!"
"I am though. I am seriously gonna miss you all."
"....Me too..." muttered Misaki and looked at Izumi and the rest of the class.
"What? What is that? Is that demon smiling?" asked Miyamura.
Immediately, a fist landed on his head, smacking him hard.
"Ow! Naoya! Misaki is bullying me!" complained Miyamura.
"You deserved that one."
"Betrayal!!!"
"Take it as one last memory beating before high school!!!"
"I don't want that memory!!!"
"Silent!!!!"
Suddenly, a roar silenced all of them as they looked forward only to spot their homeroom teacher already there.
The students immediately ran towards their seats and sat down, not wanting to be scolded again.
.
.
.
After the closing ceremony was over, the students started leaving. Naoya was gathered together with Izumi and Misaki, who were waiting for their families.
Today, they were going out with their families since they were graduating from middle school.
Naoya wanted to enjoy with them a bit longer, but decided not to mess with their family time.
Once they spotted their families, they bid their farewells to Naoya and went away, leaving Naoya alone.
He looked at the crowd of students and parents talking happily and then looked at his middle school one last time before heading to Fushiguro's home to pick up Maki and Mai.
On his way, he stopped by a bakery to get some cakes for everyone there.
A sort of small celebration.
Soon, he arrived at their place and rang the doorbell.
"Coming~" came Miyuki's voice.
Naoya could hear the footsteps, and the door opened an instant later.
Greeting him with a warm smile, Miyuki pulled him inside, closed the door and pushed him inside.
"What's the enthusiasm for?" asked Naoya.
"Just you wait. Kids! Naoya's home!" announced Miyuki, and soon three kids came running.
"Nii-Nii!!!" called the kids and unfolded a sheet of paper each.
On the paper were some very 'artistic' pictures along with a misspelled Congratulations.
'Same mistake....definitely copied each other,' thought Naoya, but still smiled at their actions.
Naoya immediately crouched down and smiled at them.
"For me? Really?" asked Naoya.
"For you!" cheered Mai and Maki, and gave their cards to Naoya.
Naoya smiled and looked towards Megumi, who acted shyly before coming forward and giving his card as well.
Naoya admired each of their cards for a while before pulling the three kids in a hug.
"Thank you so much, you three. It's amazing."
"Hehe," laughed the girls while the boy just looked away shyly.
Miyuki smiled at the scene and rushed inside to get the camera to capture the moment.
After taking some pictures, they went to the kitchen, and Naoya spotted a feast already in the making with Toji working there, wearing an apron that had "Kitchen Daddy" written on it.
"Nii-san?"
"Hm? Congrats on graduation," replied Toji casually before throwing a wrapped present towards Naoya.
Easily catching the present, Naoya looked a bit surprised. He wasn't expecting a present.
"Can I open it?"
"As you wish?"
"Me me!! Maki will open!!!" declared Maki and clung to Naoya's leg.
"No! Mai will open!!!" declared Mai and clung to his other leg.
Naoya looked at the two acting pitifully and smiled.
Seeing his smile, the girls smiled as well... only for it to vanish once Naoya opened it on his own while they were still clinging.
"My gift," replied Naoya and smirked at the girls, making them pout in defiance.
Seeing them like that, Naoya took out the box of pastries from his shadow and handed it to Miyuki.
"I brought cake for everyone," said Naoya in a sing-song way.
"CAKE!!!"
All the kids cheered, even Megumi, who looked at the box in Miyuki's hand with sparkles, immediately losing interest in Naoya's gift.
Freed from their grasp, Naoya opened the box and spotted a new pair of sneakers in there.
"Like it?" asked Miyuki.
"Yes....thank you."
"Toji picked them," added Miyuki.
Naoya was surprised once again, making him look at the older Zeni,n who just snorted and looked away.
"....Tsundere," commented Naoya.
"What the hell was that brat?!" retorted Toji, ready to fight.
Naoya stared at the angry man for a bit before showing a shit-eating grin to him, making Toji clench the ladle a bit too tightly, making it bend.
"..."
"...Toji," called Miyuki with a 'smile'.
"...Wow, I want some cake. Let's go to the other room, kids," called Naoya and took plates and forks before rushing out of the room
"Oi! Take me with you!" called Toji, only to feel a hand on his shoulder.
