The instant a Monk with a refined Golden Body at the front of the line collapsed, Guangming, who was at the very rear, reacted.
"When I attain Buddhahood, if the Celestial Beings in my land are not all of true golden color, I shall not attain supreme enlightenment."
This was the Golden Form Spell, one of the forty-eight Great Spells from the Enlightenment Mahayana Sutra. It was also the Divine Power Spell that Guangming primarily cultivated.
As Guangming's voice echoed, all the Monks in its path began to glow with a splendid golden light, as if they had all been blessed with a Golden Body. Then, these Golden Bodies linked together, forming a golden canopy that slowly spread out in all directions!
This was a Protective Spell.
Under the Great Spell's blessing, even those who hadn't cultivated the Golden Body Technique could gain the power of a Golden Body for a short time. Moreover, the more people there were, the greater the power of the blessing.
