Of course, the Druid could also use this Magic, but he couldn't bring himself to perform live sacrifices or similar acts, so he couldn't temporarily transfer the cost he was about to face.
The costs accumulated in his body from using various Demon God powers, and once it reached a certain Level, the Demon Gods would worry about not being able to collect their debts, wasting their previous lending.
Like a company on the brink of bankruptcy, the Demon Gods would scramble to collect, emptying every "penny" from the company, taking away the "counter," "door," "sofa," and other essential items for its operation to offset the debt.
That also meant the Druid would die in an instant, with many organs missing from his body.
Even the Supreme Mage, The Ancient One, needed to avoid using overly powerful Magic, or the "Nameless" couldn't withstand the terrifying cost.
But the Druid wouldn't give up, with juniors and friends behind him, he had to persist to the end.
"The Silver Radiance Moon of Monponoer above..." The Druid began forming Sealing gestures with both hands, silently chanting spells in his heart. This was a complex Dark Magic, Monponoer's Transfer Spell, intending to forcibly throw his cost onto Jibo.
"Too slow!" Jibo's spell was faster, choosing a quick Magic, with his inner incantation much quicker than the Druid's: "By the Deep Red Shackles of Setorak, seal."
Setorak, the Lord of the Deep Red Universe, was a playful Demon God who scattered many Rubies across various Dimensions. Those who found them would gain the power of the Deep Red Universe and become his followers. The power of the Gemstone, at its peak, could even shatter Earth with a single strike.
Because his power was so abundant and his entire Universe Dimension was red, Mages often stole his power as if stealing a piece of coal from a dark night coal yard.
The famous Villain Red Tank was a result of the Gemstone, even just touching it without truly owning it, being a half-baked one, but it made him unkillable and unbreakable, becoming a monstrous figure troublesome like Hulk, a non-Mutant mingling with Mutants.
Kama Taiji has always been safely stealing Setorak's Magic Power. The "Setorak Red Belt" is something almost everyone can dabble with, now considered basic education.
Though it's an entry-level Magic, its power is quite impressive, capable of directly binding a person, ignoring other Protective Magic.
The Druid, transformed into mist during the casting process, was directly bound by the Red Belt; Magic combat isn't just a contest of magnitude, timing and spell choice are equally crucial.
A low-level spell used at the right time can be stronger than anything.
The Druid's mind was affected by a worm, not thinking calmly. Jibo kept hinting at the problem of Magic cost and demonstrated his transfer of cost before him.
So, the Druid fell into his trap, eagerly wanting to shed the Casting Cost, directly giving Jibo the chance to seize it.
Combat between Mages is also a test of tactics and intelligence, not allowing any error.
The energy of the Deep Red Universe dispersed the mist, bringing the Druid back to his physical form, while Jibo, with a sinister grin, charged with his blade.
The Druid closed his eyes, having no strategy left; dying like this would spare him the cost, feeling lighter.
All his life's memories flashed through his mind quickly; he felt death approaching.
"Die, hahaha!"
Jibo laughed as he swung down the Black Blade in his hand.
"Get lost!"
Suddenly, an unfamiliar voice rang out behind Jibo. From a pile of debris on the ground, a person sprang up. A pale golden Dagger thrust upward directly, stabbing Jibo right in the butt.
It sank up to the hilt, leaving only the Dagger's owl-embellished hilt outside, innocently meeting the Druid's gaze.
Following this, a tremendous force hit, the Protective Magic had no effect, and the black hand holding the Dagger sent Jibo flying.
Jibo felt a sharp pain in his behind, and his body involuntarily soared, flying higher and higher...
The Druid watched agape as Jibo seemed to turn into a meteor, soaring over the courtyard wall, streaking across the sky, vanishing from view.
His senior brother seemed so vulnerable; he never imagined brute force could achieve such an effect.
Su Ming had actually been observing for a while, finding their firework-like Magic battle quite entertaining, of course, he adjusted his position subtly, calculating an ambush along Jibo's path.
He was the scorched Dead Man's Head on the ground.
Sending Jibo flying was just basic operation; replacing him with someone else, with over a hundred tons of strength plus a Demon-breaking Dagger, could achieve the same effect.
Not blowing him up on the spot, just throwing him away, already used Soft Force.
As for Jibo who flew out, he shouldn't be dead yet; Mages don't die easily, but a severe injury is inevitable. This battle has nothing to do with him anymore. If he's smart, he should immediately open the door and retreat, rather than come back for a desperate fight.
Su Ming wasn't planning to kill Jibo now, after all, this guy is a future opponent of Doctor Strange. Killing him now, how would he make Strange owe him a favor later?
Anyway, he can't stir up much trouble; leave him for later to reap benefits.
No need for Doctor Strange to pay; as long as he can use the Time Gem to help Su Ming sometime, that's enough.
A black liquid quickly formed into a human shape, turning into a black and yellow style akin to the Holy Statue Armor, as the Symbiote knew Su Ming liked the color, choosing roughly the style.
"Hello, Doctor Druid, weren't you injured?"
Su Ming pretended to ask with concern as if he had just arrived.
The Druid struggled to climb up from the ground, with the Red Belt dissipating into the air after losing its Magic supply.
At this moment, looking at the strange man in front of him, with that giant-mouthed full of Sharp Fangs, he didn't quite know what to say.
It looked like a monster, but after all, he was a lifesaver; not responding seemed impolite.
"I'm fine, just need to catch my breath. May I ask who you are?"
"Deathstroke, a Mercenary, a friend of Master Ancient." Su Ming extended his hand to shake hands with the Druid, but a Ray of light suddenly shot from behind, and he immediately raised his Dagger to block it. The Dagger was instantly covered with frost, freezing Su Ming's entire arm, a sneak attack Water Element Dark Magic: "Seems now's not the time to chat, I'll hold off your position, use Mind Magic to contact everyone."
Finished, giving no chance for the Druid to refuse, Su Ming twisted his arm, shattering the ice layer above, and turned to rush towards the direction from which the spell had attacked.
The Symbiote Suit greatly enhanced strength and Speed, but it had no resistance to Magic, which meant in the upcoming battle, Su Ming needed to minimize using it to withstand Magic Attacks.
The one who had launched the Magic sneak attack was also a flamboyantly dressed Mage, sporting a red mohawk.
He had another Magic ready to cast at Su Ming.
An ink-green Ray shot at the black-yellow figure, it was a homing Magic, unavoidable.
However, his triumphant satisfaction was shattered seeing almost the instant the Magic was about to hit, the figure's chest suddenly formed a large hole, letting the Magic pass straight through, and the hole instantly closed, not even slowing his steps.
A bit startled, the Mage had undergone much melee training, but from the monster's earlier blow that sent Jibo flying, he reckoned his strength was no match.
The Black Mage unleashed another Magic, creating several Phantoms, standing in line, again firing at Su Ming.
But such Blinding Techniques were useless on the Symbiote; it could smell which phantom was real, the human scent, and synchronize the information to the host.
So in these attacks, Su Ming simply evaded the one real Ray, not needing to dodge the phantom attacks.
The Mage began panicking, throwing Dark Magic as if it was free, but wearing the Symbiote Suit, Su Ming evaded them all with various bizarre postures.
Almost in an instant, the black and yellow mask appeared right in front of him, the bloody scent could be felt from that wide mouth.
"No... no!"
"Crack."
The attack didn't come from that mouth; Su Ming wasn't in the habit of eating people, he merely threw a punch at the Mage.
This cauldron-sized fist entered through the Mage's chest, exiting through the back, grasping the opposite's heart bloodily, pulling it out fiercely.
Blood spurted high, and he dropped the heart to the ground, stepping on it to explode, beginning the hunt for his next prey.
