Kael quickly returned upstairs with twenty bottles of liquor.
"What's this?" Fred asked, puzzled as he looked at the large parcel Kael was holding.
"It's something good; drinking it later should make you feel a bit better." Kael said.
Upon hearing this, Fred's stomach began to churn again.
"If we have to go back now, can I be the last one?"
"I really don't want to Apparate again so soon."
"Don't worry, we're using a Portkey this time." Kael brought out the dirty glass cup.
Under his arrangement, everyone formed a circle, ensuring each had a finger touching the cup.
As for the unconscious Tonkses, they would remain here for Nymphadora Tonks to send them to the Hospital Wing at Hogwarts for treatment.
Having just been attacked by Death Eaters, they couldn't risk taking two injured people openly to St Mungo's, so the closer Hospital Wing at Hogwarts became the best choice.
Previously, when members of the Order of Phoenix were injured, they did the same, and Madam Pomfrey had grown accustomed to occasionally working extra shifts during the holidays.
"Dear, it's enough for me to stay here; you have to go back with them." Tonks glanced at Lupin, kissed his cheek, then turned to the others.
"Hurry up, George." she reminded, as a dazzling blue light emerged from the cup, prompting George to quickly press his index finger onto it.
It felt as though an invisible hook behind his gut jerked forward, lifting everyone's feet off the dirty floor and causing them to vanish from the second floor of the Hog's Head Pub.
Kael felt like he was caught in a whirlwind, his finger stuck to the Portkey, but compared to the Apparition of the Phoenix, this merely felt like a carousel ride.
A few seconds later, everyone landed heavily on the ground, though nobody fell; they all touched down smoothly.
No. 12 Grimmauld Place had arrived.
Mrs. Weasley excitedly ran over and hugged Fred and George tightly.
Chris was there too, looking tense, but his expression relaxed slightly when Kael looked over.
Beside him were Mr. Weasley, Alastor, Kingsley, and a person wearing a hood and cloak, likely those who had received the news.
Godric's Hollow had quite a few wizards residing there, and given the major event, someone surely informed the Ministry of Magic.
However, Kael didn't look at them but instead focused on the indistinctively cloaked person.
To be honest, the outfit resembled that of a Death Eater, the only difference being the black cloak adorned with gold-threaded symbols.
When Kael went to the Ministry of Magic for questioning, he saw this style of clothing; it was the uniform for the Department of Mysteries, worn by his mother, Diana, at that time.
But Kael was sure the person before him wasn't Diana; despite being unable to see the face, the height and body type didn't match.
"That's an Unspeakable." Chris seemed to notice Kael's confusion and volunteered to explain: "Your mother is very worried about you, but for some reasons, she's unable to leave the Department of Mysteries, so she sent her colleague, the only Unspeakable currently capable of contacting the outside, to check on you."
"If that's the case..." Kael nodded, ready to say something, but upon turning back, the Unspeakable had disappeared.
No sound was made, and nobody knew how the person vanished; it was as if the figure they saw was merely an illusion.
"Don't be alarmed; they're always like this, mysterious." Chris said.
"What exactly is the Department of Mysteries busy with?" Kael couldn't help asking: "Can't they come out even once?"
"I don't know." Chris shook his head, lowering his voice: "But I've heard, just heard, that there are several doors inside the Department of Mysteries that become particularly unstable whenever a major event, like a war, occurs outside."
"So what's inside?"
"I don't know." Chris blurted out: "No one knows except the Unspeakables.
"And your mother never discussed these things with me either; even what I just mentioned, I heard from others."
"Who?"
"Xenophilius."
"Who did you say?" Kael was stunned for a moment, thinking he misheard.
"Xenophilius Lovegood." Chris repeated, "You remember him, right? Luna's dad, who also lives in Ottery St Catchpole; you've met him."
"Of course I remember." Kael rubbed his forehead, his brewing thoughts instantly dissipating.
"But didn't he previously say the Department of Mysteries specializes in making poisons for Fudge to eliminate his opponents?"
"Well, now Fudge isn't the Minister anymore." Chris glanced around before lowering his voice again, "And I think there's merit to his claims, don't you remember? The Department of Mysteries really has some very mysterious doors."
"Indeed." Kael chuckled dryly.
Compared to helping Fudge poison his opponents, this explanation seemed quite normal—to the point of being too normal for what you'd expect to find in The Quibbler.
Truthfully, Kael wasn't sure if this contention was something Xenophilius mentioned to Chris, or if it was new content published in The Quibbler.
