Even after returning to the castle, everyone was still sneaking glances at Krum standing next to the headmaster of Durmstrang.
"I can't believe it... I can get so close to this legendary player!"
Kael heard Lee Jordan excitedly saying beside him, "Does anyone have a quill? I think this is the best chance to get an autograph."
Besides Lee Jordan, there were Ron, Seamus, and a group of senior students, all looking everywhere to borrow a quill.
"Nope..." George shook his head, "Who would carry something like that when there's no class?"
"We certainly don't." Fred said with a laugh.
They were excited too, but not as fanatical as the others.
After parting ways with the Weasley brothers, Kael walked to the Hufflepuff table and sat down. He noticed that the Beauxbatons students, after talking with Ms. Maxime, were also heading this way.
"Hello."
A little girl, probably only eleven or twelve, ran up to Kael and said, stumbling over her words, "I remember you... during the match... you saved us!"
The little girl's accent was quite heavy, and it took Kael a while to understand what she was saying.
"This is my sister, Gabrielle Delacour." At this moment, Fleur also walked over.
She looked at Cedric, "Hello, may I sit here?"
"Ah?" Cedric looked at Fleur, then at Kael beside him, as if he realized something, and nodded vigorously.
"Oh... of course, please sit..." He quickly moved aside, making space for her.
"Thank you." Fleur smiled politely.
Then she sat down, unwrapped the scarf around her head, revealing her waterfall-like silver hair and her exquisitely beautiful face.
The face of the young wizard sitting across from Fleur turned bright red.
At the same time, the previously noisy Hufflepuff table suddenly quieted down, and even the eyes that were staring at Krum were half diverted to Fleur.
But after the silence, the talking and discussion resumed even louder.
Kael felt as if he had entered a gathering of legendary wizards, listening to them recount bizarre and grand adventures.
For instance, Mikel was loudly telling a story about entering the dangerous Forbidden Forest solo in his first year to save a group of Fire Dragons.
Of course, that was definitely not true.
Not to mention whether there was a group of Fire Dragons at Hogwarts, if he had run into the Forbidden Forest in the first year, Hagrid would have given him months of detention.
Yet nobody seemed to care, and many joined in...
There were stories of earning a hundred bags of gold coins in a year... about specializing in hunting Dementors... or becoming Minister of Magic immediately after graduation...
The more bizarre the better, and while saying these things, they would occasionally glance at Fleur, seemingly trying to get her attention in this way.
But Fleur's expression didn't change at all; she had seen stranger things at Beauxbatons long ago.
She looked calmly at Kael, and continued, "Ms. Maxime has already told us, there were dark wizards who wanted to target Gabrielle and the others. Thanks to you, they are safe and sound."
"No, you misunderstood." Kael shook his head and explained, "It was mainly Mr. Weasley, Charlie, and Bill who took action. I arrived last."
"But," Fleur smiled, "That Mr. Arthur Weasley is the one who said it to Ms. Maxime... He said thanks to you, they were able to repel those dark wizards."
"Those are two different things," Kael said. "By the time I arrived, a long time had already passed. If not for them, those people would have run away by the time I got there... wouldn't they?"
"Yes, you're right," Fleur paused, then nodded, "Are they at the school? If possible, I'd like to thank them personally."
"Unfortunately, Mr. Weasley works at the Ministry of Magic, and Charlie and Bill have graduated and are working abroad." Kael explained.
A trace of disappointment appeared on Fleur's face.
"But they should come to watch the match eventually, after all, this is the first time the Triwizard Tournament has been reinstated in a century. Nobody wants to miss it."
Kael smiled, "By the way, let me introduce someone."
He pointed to Cedric, "This is Cedric Digory, my friend, and a popular candidate as the Hogwarts Champion."
"Champion?" Fleur looked over, politely extended her hand and said, "Hello, Fleur Delacour, pleased to meet you."
"Hello, pleased to meet you..." Cedric reached out and gently touched her hand.
"The one bragging over there is Mikel, my roommate... a nice guy, his only flaw is his head doesn't always work well."
Mikel had been waiting impatiently, and after hearing Kael's words started to rush over from behind the bench, but hadn't taken two steps before Kael pulled him back.
Given that Fleur had half-Veela bloodline, Kael was really afraid Mikel would get overly excited and perform some exaggerated charm in public... they still had to eat afterwards!
"This is Ryan, another roommate of mine..."
"Grace, a fantastic Chaser, also my teammate."
"You like Quidditch too?" Fleur asked curiously.
"Very much," Kael replied, "Perhaps after graduation, I might join a professional team."
"Then you must be better than that Krum," Fleur said with a smile, "I'll be there to cheer you on then."
"It's just a possibility," Kael waved it off.
However, Fleur's words stirred some discontent, with several senior girls glaring furiously at her from the Slytherin table.
The same went for the Ravenclaw side, although their expressions were more of jealousy besides anger.
But Fleur merely smiled disdainfully, not caring at all.
After introducing everyone, Kael pointed to the last person, Conna, sitting on the other side.
But before he could speak...
"Hello, Conna Prince!"
Conna smiled and extended her hand, almost hitting Kael's chin.
For the first time, Fleur's expression changed slightly at the offered hand, becoming less... formal.
Her lips curled slightly, as she extended her hand as well.
"Fleur Delacour... I have to say, you're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen."
"That's something I should say about you," Conna said somewhat shyly, "None of the guys have ever acted like this before."
"That's different..." Fleur shook her head; she knew that their strange behavior was simply because she had Veela blood.
