It was no surprise that Kizaru didn't come.
He's an Admiral, busy with his own affairs, who's got the time to deal with the Celestial Dragons' nonsense.
The World Government's representative was here instead, which makes more sense for making decisions.
"Buy? Disaster! Don't go too far!"
The Special Agent angrily said, "This place originally belongs to the World Government, you're just a mere Pirate, don't overstep your bounds!"
"Lily."
Swoosh!
Slap!
In a flash, a thin sword appeared, its blade striking the agent's mouth, forcing him to spit out a mouthful of blood and fall to the ground.
Before he could rise, the sharp gleam of the sword's tip pressed against his throat, just a bit more and it would pierce the skin.
"If you want to talk, do it with an attitude of negotiation. Next time, I will kill you." Lily declared coldly.
The agent staggered up, his sunglasses knocked off, glaring viciously at Lily. As he opened his mouth, the sword tip pushed forward.
Slash!
The thin sword pierced his neck, blood gushed down the embedded blade, staining the ground.
"Seems there's nothing good to say."
Lily pulled out the sword, casually flicked off the blood, and sheathed it, her gaze like lightning sweeping over the remaining agents, making them instinctively step back.
"Don't be too arrogant! Disaster, you're facing the World Government!" an agent pointed at Sage on the platform, calling indignantly.
Sage speared a piece of sliced sausage with a fork, biting into it. With a flick, the fork vanished.
Thud!
The speaking agent's throat burst open, with a soft sound, bloodied and fragmented fork nailed itself into the door frame at the back, penetrating halfway.
The agent clutched his throat, gasped twice, and fell.
Sage swallowed the food, revealing a mouth of white teeth, "This is how we do things!"
Standing up, he kicked over Rosward, who had instinctively raised himself because of the agents, and stomped his face into the floor, laughing:
"You weren't here for a trade, huh? A fair trade or a fair talk is needed. If you upset me, your masters will have a hard time!"
Crash!
Under the pressure, Rosward's face embedded into the floor, half of it sunk in.
"Save, save me!" Rosward reached out, crying in pain.
"Don't harm Saint Rosward!"
The agent urgently said, "We can slowly discuss any issue, just don't harm the Celestial Dragon's Sacred Body!"
"Had you spoken like this earlier, no one would've died! You officials and agents, such arrogance, maybe not even as professional as the agents hidden on my ship."
Sage released his hand, returning to his seat, extending a finger, "One hundred billion, buy Shampodi from you."
The agent gritted his teeth, "We need to consult!"
"What are you waiting for? Every second you delay, my men seize another share, and whatever they take, I won't return!" Sage chuckled.
The agent took a deep breath, retrieving a Radio Snail from the corpse Lily had initially dealt with, running out to make a call.
Soon, he returned, pursed his lips, and said:
"Disaster, we have a new proposal for you, regarding access to Mary Geoise, we've agreed. Not only that, the World Government invites you to become a Seven Warlords of the Sea. Should you accept, you'll become one of the Seven Warlords, gaining access not only to Mary Geoise but to any place governed by the World Government."
"Hahaha... Hey, did you hear that, trying to trick me into becoming a Seven Warlords at this point? What, when war approaches, anything goes? I have little interest!"
Sage snarled, "I'm discussing terms with the Celestial Dragons, not the Seven Warlords!"
Release the Celestial Dragons, then join the Seven Warlords to fight in the war, serving others?
Does the World Government take him for a fool?
Should he agree to that, wouldn't capturing the Celestial Dragons be a waste?
"Access to Mary Geoise is negotiable, but regarding publication, the World Government is willing to offer another hundred billion for one Celestial Dragon." The agent mentioned.
"First off, I'm not extorting, nor am I a kidnapper. You seem to misunderstand."
Sage laughed, "The tradition of lawless lands is capturing slaves, I took Catles Dragons they are my slaves. Can't blame others, if no slaves, I wouldn't bother with such weaklings."
"The hundred billion earlier is the price for buying my slaves, make it clear formally. The remaining two, I don't want money, want other things; this won't change, understand?"
The agent pursed his lips, "Understood, we agree to your request on access to Mary Geoise, and your deeds will be celebrated in newspaper, however, Rosward Saint and Charlos Saint must be with us now."
Sage sneered, "What should I hand over when you haven't done anything? Rest assured, I keep my promises, unlike you who reneged..."
Thinking, he glanced at the pig-like Charlos, "This guy is the condition for access to Mary Geoise, once we enter the New World, he'll be returned to you."
"As for the other one, when I see it in the newspaper, I'll give it to you! Remember, I want the reputation that's originally mine, something that shouldn't be hidden, you've delayed many days, Impel Down is under repair, right? I want the unaltered truth, it's just me breaking through Impel Down!"
The agent wanted to say something but glanced at the two corpses on the ground and paused, lowering his head, "I'll relay your words verbatim."
"Before that war arrives, I want to see it in the newspapers, expired… you handle it yourself."
Sage waved, "Get out, tidy up the bodies, don't disturb my meal."
A few agents deftly dragged the two bodies away, quickly vanishing from the venue.
In this regard, they were indeed quite professional.
"Lily."
Seeing them leave, Sage said, "Inform Gin to proceed slowly... five days should suffice for the plunder, anyone wealthy on the Shampodi Islands, don't let escape, we have enough time."
"Understood." Lily nodded.
"Eh? The World Government won't buy? Isn't this their place?" Renedia asked curiously.
"It's typical of them."
Sage laughed, "If they were willing to pay, I'd think higher of them. They can collect taxes but when did they ever pay for people? Especially when the Celestial Dragons are in my hands."
Anyway, they're not looting Government money, how could they care?
Sage originally wanted things simpler, exchange robbed treasures directly for sale to the World Government, but they don't want it...
So continue to plunder.
Regarding time, it wasn't like the previous easy half-day job, they could thoroughly scour the Shampodi Islands as if plowing through.
"Also, call Doflamingo, the money is overflowing, let's invest with him."
Sage laughed heartily, "This is my starting capital, with this money, once in the New World, I can expand greatly!"
Robbery wise, early funds are the best to snatch.
Primitive capital accumulation, quite stacked up now.
But at its end, Sage nearly robbed every worth-stealing place in the early stages to amass this wealth.
