Not long after, he stepped on a fallen guard, a sinister smile appearing on his face.
Although the other subordinates didn't understand why Lord Bellamy was attacking a wall instead of using the door, they rushed in regardless, entering the inner room to begin hauling away valuables.
Besides the human trafficking store, the weapons merchant was also a major target. In addition to valuables, they stole the weapon supplies they needed.
Then there were the wealthy people living in the Shampodi Islands. As a group of islands under the eye of the main base, apart from the occasional 'descent' of the Heavenly Celestial Dragon, it was safer here than anywhere else. Even pirates didn't dare to cause trouble, so many rich people lived here for safety.
The pirates broke into these vast estates, killed the resisting guards, and rushed in to plunder.
Gold, jewels, Belly—these were the main targets. Other smaller items, like silver plates or gold-plated lamps, knowing that the Captain didn't fancy them, were casually collected. Some even put on decent-looking jewelry and bracelets themselves as battle trophies, laughing heartily among themselves.
The rule of the Disaster Pirates was just like that. As long as it wasn't obviously valuable, they had the priority to pick ordinary items for themselves and then take another during loot division.
Everything was generously allowed by Captain Sage.
"Hey, what's going on with them?"
On one of the islands, Bonney sat atop a building, watching Mute leading a group of underlings in a wild rampage. She then glanced at the Navy, seemingly selectively blind, surrounding her below and said unhappily:
"The Disaster Pirates are robbing people, and you're not chasing them, but instead, capturing me?"
The Navy said nothing. Some young recruits wanted to pursue but were quickly stopped with a glance from the older ones.
The leading Navy Captain shouted at her, as if he hadn't heard Bonney, "'Big Appetite King' Jewelry Bonney, you are surrounded, surrender now!"
It wasn't unwillingness; it was impossible for them to act.
The order they just received was not to engage with the Disaster Pirates, not at all.
Though some couldn't understand, they knew the Heavenly Celestial Dragon was in their Captain's hands, so they could only watch helplessly.
"Tch! Damn Navy, there's a robbery happening, yet you're targeting me first. This is discrimination!" Bonney extended a hand. "Fine, transform you all into old men!"
...
Two hours later.
Urouge, somehow having acquired a long table, placed it where Sage sat, while Marika carried several large trays of cakes and meats over, placing them on it, smiling:
"Have something to eat."
The buildings still had kitchens, and with everyone feeling quite bored, Marika wandered around, found the kitchen and some ingredients, and made an impromptu afternoon tea.
After setting down the treats, she smiled at Giant Stansen, who was sitting there, "Sorry, you're too big to carry over. We made some fried food in the back for you. Can you get it yourself?"
"No problem."
Stansen nodded slightly, without much movement, and reached into the back door with his head, grabbing a piece of fried food the size of his palm, drizzled with sauce, not knowing what meat it was made from.
This thing was bigger than a normal human's size and could crush someone if thrown at them.
Stansen sniffed it, eyes half-open, then took a bite, producing a crisp crunch.
"Delicious!"
"Of course, I personally selected the cook!" Sage laughed heartily, "How could it not taste good!"
"Haven't had such tasty food in a long time." Stansen nodded repeatedly, devouring half of the hand-sized fried item in a few bites.
"Hey, what do giants eat every day?" Renedia asked out of curiosity.
"The same as humans, just in larger quantities."
Stansen replied, "When we used to sail, we had cooks specifically for giants. The food mostly consisted of Sea Kings and giant beasts. Human food is just too small."
"Ah, I'm not sure about the size of your appetite, but with that physique, it seems our food quantities will increase. What a delightful problem!" Marika laughed.
"Is the Giant Realm all pirates? I've heard of you; you're the strongest pirates on the sea," Renedia said.
"Elbaf's warriors all go to sea to prove their valor. As for others in my country, I don't know... some might have joined the Navy." Stansen responded in a deep voice.
Sage grinned, "Elbaf, that's a great place, home to the most formidable soldiers. If there's a chance, invite more of your comrades. My Pirates welcomes everyone!"
Giants were indeed formidable fighters. As natural warriors, even in the Navy, they started as Vice Admirals. Such combat power was rare on the seas, and dealing with them required famous maritime strongmen.
Super Rookies might be renowned too, but defeating a Giant without relying on abilities is a different story.
A nearly twenty-meter-tall individual showing their might, regardless of their standing among peers, was unstoppable when facing humans.
That's why a Third Brother's value keeps rising...
