"You despicable bastard!!"
Kid roared as he lay beneath Sage's foot. Just as he tried to move his arm, Sage coldly smiled and pressed harder with his foot, embedding Kid's head halfway into the tree-rooted ground.
Bang!
An air wave surged outward from beneath Sage's foot, causing Kid's body to stiffen. The hand he was about to raise loosened again.
Buzzing!
From behind came the sound of air splitting, as Killer swiftly approached Sage from behind. The two specially designed scythes spun in his hands like propellers, aiming straight for the back of Sage's neck.
"Beheading Tornado!"
Bang!
Just as he got close, a hand chop emerged from the side, directly hitting his arm. The immense force continued along his arm, crashing into his neck and head, flinging Killer away, causing him to fall heavily to the ground.
Sage hadn't moved, merely retracting his extended arm. He then turned his head to look over, saying, "Sneak attacks are ineffective against me. Oh... your weapon is quite unique, similar to Gin's, except yours is a scythe instead of a staff. A swordsman, perhaps?"
"One hundred and sixty million, a pirate group," Lily promptly reported.
"Hmm? Actually higher than yours by two million for this kind of scum?"
Sage raised an eyebrow and said, "What's the Navy's evaluation for? My bounty hasn't increased, nor have my subordinates'. But somehow people like this have a rather high bounty. How much for a whole pirate group?"
"Four hundred seventy-seven million," Lily replied.
"Call it five hundred million."
Sage waved his hand, "Bring out five hundred million to buy your lives, calculated with interest, and without money, you can owe first. I quite enjoy people being in debt to me."
A landlord, after all, cannot be without a few debtors on hand.
A landlord can lend money at interest; pirates can rob. Combine the two, and that's lending money out of thin air.
But Sage sticks to the rules; to actually receive money, he couldn't set an amount impossible for others to fulfill.
"Hey! You're too domineering, we didn't do anything!" Bonney shouted as she climbed up from the ground.
"One hundred and forty million," Lily said.
"Between pirates, is there really a point to whether something is done? If you need a reason... Well, look, my chef's hand is injured, and I think everyone here is responsible. But in talking about compensation, it has nothing to do with pirates, so let's just rob instead."
Sage chuckled, "The same goes for you. I didn't say I'd miss you all."
Everyone was shocked by his words.
"Castle·Machine Gun!"
Capone Bege's body was covered with small holes, from which a multitude of gun barrels protruded, firing a series of sparks. The spindle-like bullets expanded rapidly from his body, forming a barrage heading straight for Sage.
He ate the Fort-Fort Fruit, becoming a fortress man whose entire body is a fortress, capable of shrinking anything inside his fortress body and deploying weapons or people stationed within at any time!
In this range, there's no way that guy can dodge.
Sage didn't even plan to dodge. He once again pressed Kid's head entirely into the ground with force, turned to sneer at him, "Zoom in? You're playing this in front of me? Five times speed."
Swish!
The speed was too rapid to catch. Sage's hands vanished as the bullet barrage gathered before him disappeared in formation, like entering an alternate space.
Only then did Bege see clearly that Sage had extended his hands, palms open, and a large number of bullets fell from them.
Caught them all?!
Those were bullets!
Bege's pupils contracted as sweat dripped from his forehead.
Drake was even more astonished since he didn't see Sage using Haki. Could this guy's physique be so robust, even defending against bullets?!
"Five-Finger Vacuum."
Sage chuckled, suddenly reaching out to catch, pinning a falling bullet between his fingers.
His physique hasn't reached the point of absorbing bullets, but he has mastered the technique of catching flying objects.
If it were purely physical speed, it might not be enough, yet with a slight acceleration, he could catch all these.
"One hundred and thirty-eight million," Lily continued to announce the bounty.
"Only one? Make it two hundred million."
Sage, turning his hand over to grip the bullet, aimed at the shorty, "Let me show you what real zoom means, tenfold magnification."
Bang!
As Sage's thumb snapped, the spindle-shaped bullet became a shadow, shooting out, increasing from about six millimeters to around six centimeters mid-flight, striking Bege's abdomen fiercely, sending him flying, trailing blood in the air, plowing the ground for several meters before crashing to earth.
However, where the abdomen should have been pierced, now there was a scarred stone-like skin, showing some structural traces as though a fortress had been shattered.
"An Ability User..."
Sage glanced at the others, "Alright then, I won't count either. Exceeding one hundred million counts as two hundred million, exceeding two hundred million counts as three hundred million, you guys..."
Whoosh!
Drake's vision blurred suddenly, and he saw Sage appear before him. He didn't even have time to retaliate with his weapon as a large hand pressed on his head, with immense force that he couldn't resist, smashing him hard towards the ground.
But at this moment, the head caught by Sage suddenly enlarged, its form elongated, transforming into a dinosaur!
Zoan-type·Ancient species, Allosaurus form!
"Roar!"
The dinosaur bared its fangs, extending its neck and bitten back towards Sage's torso.
"A dinosaur?"
Sage tightened his five fingers, and before this dinosaur, which seemed about eight or nine meters tall, could even stand up straight, his fingers dug into its neck, continuing to slam it onto the ground.
Bang!
The enormous dinosaur was slammed into the ground with force, creating a depression.
"Two hundred and twenty million," Lily said.
"Can this thing earn back three hundred million Belly if taken to perform? The cycle is too long; it might never be worth it..."
"Scratch·Bomb!"
Boom!
Sage was talking when suddenly an explosion erupted around him with a loud bang, stirring up smoke.
Apoo halted a fist at his chest, extending an index finger towards the center of the smoke, displaying a provocative expression, "Serves you right! Got hit, didn't you!"
Yet the sudden explosion didn't surprise any of the Disaster Pirates present.
Renedia was still inspecting the mechanical hammer to see if the previous magnetic power had affected it, since it contained many precise constructions which would be difficult to use if malfunctioning.
Marika was extending her hand, instructing her subordinates who arrived to make splints and bandages, maintaining a usual expression.
Hawkins had already found a protruding root to sit on, extending several straw pieces from his leg, sticking Tarot Cards on them, and said indifferently, "These people don't have a death omen today."
Lily merely glanced at the Long-armed Race person, saying, "One hundred ninety-eight million, very close to two hundred million."
"Then count it as three hundred million!"
The smoke was suddenly blown aside, and shortly after, Sage's voice reached Apoo's ears. The moment Apoo's body reacted, taking a step back, the horrifying white-haired figure already reached him, delivering a hand chop across his neck area.
Apoo's head involuntarily tilted towards the direction of the attack, biting down as blood splattered from his teeth, eyes filled with shock.
That power...
It's too immense!
Bam!
His whole body was sent flying, crashing through a building, leaving a hole.
Sage dusted off his chest's clothing, the Haki covering it having already dissipated, "That extra one hundred million counts as compensation for dirtying this shirt worth two million Belly, though it only costs two million, it's worn by me, so it naturally has a markup."
Saying this, he looked at Law, who had already stood up, "You're different, you seem familiar... What's your name again?"
"Trafalgar Law, two hundred million Belly," Lily continued adding.
"Room!"
Law at this moment grasped his hand in suspicion, forming a circular sphere which quickly expanded, enveloping Sage and himself.
That extraordinarily long Tachi was drawn by him, slicing violently through the void, "Room!"
Then...
He noticed Sage, who was completely unharmed and even showing slight confusion, as cold sweat poured down his face.
That feeling...
Was resisted by Haki!
The formidable Haki infused in this guy rendered him unable to activate his abilities on him!
"Oh? I remember now, it's you..."
Sage paused for a moment, suddenly baring his teeth, "Then you should owe me fifty-two billion instead!"
I remember, this guy is somewhat impressive.
Op-Op Fruit!
The one valued at fifty billion...
The fruit rumored that can grant immortality!
