"Good morning, Teacher Mokgetsu." The whole class actively greeted Mokgetsu.
The more socially bold Anko even stood up and waved to Mokgetsu.
"Good morning, everyone." Mokgetsu smiled and responded, then signaled to Anko with his eyes to sit down properly.
"From today on, you're no longer first-year students, but second-year students. Last academic year, everyone worked hard and achieved great results. Does anyone have plans to surpass last year?" Mokgetsu scanned the room and asked with a smile.
"Yes, yes, yes!" Anko loudly affirmed, expressing her determination.
"In this year's summer training, I want to get into Group B!" Hagane Kotetsu shouted out his goal for this semester.
"This year, I plan to develop more practical ninjutsu!" Kamizuki Izumo chimed in simultaneously.
"This year, I must score above ninety-five in theory exams."
"I want to surpass thirty-five points in practical assessments."
After Mokgetsu spoke, the students quickly announced their goals for the semester, appearing ready to ignite their spirits.
Mokgetsu nodded with a smile, very satisfied with the students' enthusiasm.
"Alright then, let's start the class."
The students immediately quieted down; initially, some were still whispering, but midway, everyone focused intently on listening and practicing.
[Lecture Completed]
[Evaluation: A]
[Reward Received: Water Release: Water Array Wall]
Mokgetsu planned to use this academic year to brush up on ninjutsu, expanding his skill set and improving his skills' proficiency.
An ordinary ninja needs to find a path for deep study to build their own system, but Mokgetsu, equipped with hacks, doesn't need to do that.
He's capable of transforming into a Divine Speed Ninja using the Pattern Mode of Breath of Thunder and can execute highly powerful Combined Ninjutsu with very high proficiency in Nature Transformation Ninjutsu; using Breath of Rock and the Eight Gates, he's also a proficient Taijutsu expert.
Since there's no risk of overreaching, Mokgetsu certainly aims to make himself more versatile.
Because there are counter relationships between ninjutsu and ninja, Roshi will be single-handedly defeated by Kisame in the future, and currently, Minato can't take down a Jinchuriki alone. Does this mean that future Kisame can defeat the present Minato? Clearly, that cannot be said.
It's just because Kisame's Shark Skin counters the Tailed Beasts, and Kisame's own Water Release counters Roshi's Lava Release, leading to Roshi being overpowered by Kisame with double counteraction.
But if Kisame were to fight the current Minato, Mokgetsu could only say Kisame might not lose, but if someone were to win, it would definitely be Minato, even if he's a young Minato without mastering the Rasengan with strong capabilities.
To avoid being countered and to counter others, Mokgetsu wants to master more highly proficient skills.
He's not without a system; rather, he's building multiple systems at once to become versatile.
The afternoon class was a big class, and Mokgetsu acquired two Wind Release Ninjutsu.
Just as Mokgetsu prepared to find Tsunade, he noticed a Jonin meeting was convened.
So Mokgetsu changed direction directly to the Hokage Building.
Mokgetsu wasn't late or early; when he arrived, there were already some jonin in the room, but not many.
"Jonin Mokgetsu," a jonin greeted.
Mokgetsu smiled and responded; he recognized it was a Konoha Jonin he encountered on the battlefield.
Unlike before, Mokgetsu now had some fame, earned through his strength, leading quite a few jonin to engage him in conversation, seeking to understand this suddenly prominent jonin.
"What bad timing, I was just about to buy some rice balls." Teacher Chen came in and immediately complained.
He noticed Mokgetsu and went up to him, asking, "How is your cultivation with the Konoha Dragon God? If there's anything unclear, let me know after the meeting. I also have some questions about your Taijutsu."
"Mm, I can basically perform it now, but there are indeed some confusions. Let's discuss thoroughly after the meeting." Mokgetsu nodded and replied with a smile.
Demonstrating a mastery level might be overwhelming; gradual progression is more suitable.
The surrounding jonin who heard the conversation between the two looked at Mokgetsu with even more curiosity. Teacher Chen's Taijutsu was well-known among Konoha Jonin, and hearing their exchange revealed that even Teacher Chen had questions for Mokgetsu about Taijutsu.
"Haha, Mokgetsu, how's your study with Tsunade going? Be sure not to anger her, or the consequences can be terrifying." Jiraiya, who walked in with Minato, earnestly reminded Mokgetsu.
Possibly due to her powerful Medical Ninjutsu, Tsunade could be heavy-handed, even towards fellow Konoha Ninja.
"Mm, it's progressing smoothly." Mokgetsu replied to Jiraiya while smiling and greeting Minato.
"Why am I terrifying?" Tsunade, who followed Jiraiya in, asked with arms crossed and face dissatisfied.
Though she did punch Jiraiya quite a bit, Tsunade believed Jiraiya simply deserved it.
"Ahaha, I mean you're a strictly good teacher, Tsunade, and Mokgetsu should diligently learn not to squander your serious instruction." Jiraiya awkwardly laughed and explained.
Fortunately, Tsunade wasn't in the mood for trouble; she just said it casually. After speaking, Tsunade walked to Mokgetsu and inquired if he would come to study today.
Originally, Mokgetsu intended to go, but since a meeting was to cause some delay, it was no longer certain.
Mokgetsu thought for a moment and told Tsunade he would come, though a bit later than planned.
"Hiruzen, when did you notice his potential?" Danzo said with a displeased look as he observed Mokgetsu mingling with many Hokage-aligned jonin, addressing Sarutobi Hiruzen with displeasure.
"On his first day at Ninja Academy." Sarutobi Hiruzen chuckled and stroked his mustache.
If Danzo hadn't sent Mokgetsu to Ninja Academy, he wouldn't have known there was such a talented individual under Danzo's wing.
"Now, as the situation in the Ninja World becomes increasingly chaotic with countries waging war against each other, I need stronger subordinates to gather intelligence. With his strength, he shouldn't be at the Ninja Academy; he should return to the Root to perform more critical tasks." Danzo stated solemnly.
"You know full well that I am the Hokage." Sarutobi Hiruzen's gaze turned sharp, silencing Danzo.
Inwardly, Danzo cursed but soon felt smug again.
He certainly knew Sarutobi Hiruzen would not let Mokgetsu go. No one would let such a level of talent escape once they discovered it, and Danzo didn't think Sarutobi Hiruzen would be foolish enough to make such a simple mistake.
The reason Danzo spoke was to request some benefits from Sarutobi Hiruzen later on.
"Hiruzen, you've underestimated me. My subordinates aren't so easily taken." Danzo sneered inwardly.
He still remembered Mokgetsu's sincere expression before leaving the Root Base, showing a pure member of the Root with the will of the Root.
"Let's begin the meeting." When everyone had arrived, Sarutobi Hiruzen nodded and said.
