Naoki stood there for a while, recollecting matters concerning the Paldea Giant Pit in his mind, until his sister Indeedee came to call him, bringing him back to his senses.
Looking at the sibling duo beside him, Naoki said to them, "In three days, I have to leave for a distant trip, which will take about a week before I can return. In the meantime, I'll need you to take care of everyone at the ranch."
"Eevee." The brother Indeedee nodded, as helping the owner manage the ranch was their duty.
The sister Indeedee also cheerfully expressed that she would take good care of the Pokemon at the ranch.
Seeing this, Naoki's face broke into a smile.
With two Indeedees around, he felt at ease.
Next, he detailed the daily tasks at the ranch, as well as the food and feeding times for each Pokemon, to the two Indeedees.
The sibling pair listened intently, committing everything to memory.
After handing over everything, it was time to select the Pokemon to bring into the Paldea Giant Pit.
First, Koraidon was a definite.
Though he was a transmigrator, Naoki wouldn't underestimate anyone or any place just because he had knowledge and information.
For caution's sake, besides Koraidon, he needed to bring two other Pokemon with sufficient combat ability for self-defense.
Currently, the Pokemon capable of fighting at the ranch...
In Naoki's mind appeared several figures.
Koraidon, Dragonite, Pawmot, Gogoat x3.
Naclstack hadn't matured yet, and the power of Cyclizar, Glaceon, Dolliv, and Butterfree was average, far from sufficient.
Therefore, Naoki planned to leave them at the ranch.
So only those six remained.
But Gogoats are the ranch's milk-producing Pokemon, taking them would affect milk production.
After thinking it over slightly, Naoki made a decision in his heart.
This time heading to the Paldea Giant Pit, he would only take Koraidon, Dragonite, and Pawmot.
However, before leaving, he had a few things to do.
The first was to apply medicine to Wattrel until its wing fully healed.
The second was to observe the changes in Cyclizar and test the effect of yesterday's birthday cake.
While there was still time, Naoki first went to the Berry Garden to do Wattrel's daily check-up.

It hadn't tried flying again and would spend the day either in its nest on the tree or perched on a branch watching the Shroomish and Kricketune below.
Seeing Naoki approach, Wattrel shifted its gaze to him.
Naoki smiled and said, "I'm here to see how your injuries are healing."
Hearing this, Wattrel moved closer, displaying its wing for him to inspect.
Naoki gently pinched it and asked, "Does it still hurt significantly?"
Wattrel carefully felt it, then shook its head.
"That means it's healing well," Naoki said.
Wattrel's eyes sparkled at once.
Naoki: "You should be good to fly again in a maximum of two days. Once you're healed, I'll be off on a trip."
At this moment, the surrounding Shroomish, Surskit, Greedent, Tinkatink, and other Pokemon gathered around.
Naoki looked at them and softly said, "I have some matters to handle, so you'll stay here comfortably. When spring arrives next year, I'll help you all rebuild your home."
Today, it had been several days since that fire, and the Pokemon's state had gradually improved, no longer as depressed as initially.

In contrast, Shroomish prefers humid places and mostly resides in the damp ground deep within the forest.
During the day, Shroomish stays still underneath fallen leaves in the forest's shade, and their favorite food is the moist decaying leaf soil in the forest.
Petilil agreed joyfully.
With everything settled, Naoki went to find Cyclizar.
After eating the birthday cake yesterday, Cyclizar showed no special reaction, making Naoki wonder whether the cake's effects needed time to manifest.
