"Oh, it's nothing serious, I know you mean no harm. After all, you think I'm a character from a fairy tale, hahaha, perhaps I do have a bit of a dwarf's flair."
Professor Flitwick started circling around Ariana again.
He was a bit dizzy again.
Then he cheerfully approached Ariana, lifted his hand to touch her skirt, and turned to Ian with an awe-struck voice, exclaiming.
"She is a soul with wisdom! This is an unprecedented form of Patronus! Little Ian! You are making history! And I must be witnessing a piece of it!"
Though his voice remained somewhat sharp, the excitement in it was palpable. With just a quick observation, Professor Flitwick deduced a lot of information.
"I can't hold on for long, professor."
Ian walked up and discreetly slipped a few candies into Ariana's hand, whispering to her that this was his examination project, to which Ariana nodded with partial understanding.
"Alright, alright, no problem, that's enough. I too think such magic can't last long, even though your magic power has already reached a level that leaves me in awe."
After saying this.
Without any hesitation.
Professor Flitwick ran to his desk and marked a big "O" on Ian's report card. As Ian and Ariana waved goodbye, preparing to undo the magic, Ariana looked at the wall behind Professor Flitwick. It was only after smiling at a portrait on the wall did she return to Ian's magic wand.
"Phew~"
Ian let out a long breath.
"You surely have some remarkable lineage! This is a connection that transcends life and death! You will become the first wizard to explore this domain through the Patronus Charm!"
"This has far more potential than those dreadful dark magic spells you've been stubbornly wanting to research!" Professor Flitwick still wanted to share more with Ian, but unfortunately, there were many other little wizards who needed to take the exam, not just from one grade but all who had to complete their final assessments.
Therefore, he could only remind Ian once more as he finished his test and left the classroom. Clearly, the professor could not forget Ian's creative idea of "sterilization magic."
He pointed Ian to another research direction he believed wouldn't cause much harm. After Ian left, Professor Flitwick didn't immediately let the next examinee into the classroom.
"Thank you."
A voice came from behind Professor Flitwick.
"You're welcome. Actually, you helped me solve a problem. I was troubled for many nights about how to set exam questions for Little Ian."
He turned back to look at the gradually solidifying figure in front of the wall portrait.
"Albus, there's certainly some story between you and Ian's little girl." Professor Flitwick looked at the old headmaster, who rarely dressed up, in a purple robe.
"Why would you think so?"
Albus Dumbledore did not respond directly.
"Of course, by looking."
Professor Flitwick expressed that he wasn't blind, he could see the complex expressions on Albus Dumbledore's face and the tears in his eyes.
...
Compared to Professor Flitwick's exam questions, Professor McGonagall's Transformation Technique exam was much simpler, even though the Transformation Technique was the hardest exam subject for students every year. However, this naturally didn't include a little wizard who possessed high-level Transformation Technique ability and extraordinary traits like [Form of All Things].
Before the exam began.
Professor McGonagall first put some pressure on Ian.
"Mr. Prince, I hope you will grow a bit by next year and stop constantly causing embarrassment for us professors." The stern deputy headmistress was the professor every little wizard feared the most.
Ian was no exception.
He immediately demonstrated his craftsmanship spirit.
"I'm sorry for causing so much trouble for everyone. I will strictly regulate and restrain my actions next year." Ian thought that by next year, there wouldn't be any noseless beings causing chaos.
His promise was firm and filled with confidence, which eased Professor McGonagall's expression slightly.
"Very good, remember, fairness is the most crucial thing!" When saying this, Professor McGonagall deliberately emphasized her voice. She was genuinely frustrated with this year's house points situation.
"Yes, professor."
Ian, indifferent to what Professor McGonagall was chastising, maintained a consistent display of craftsmanship spirit, unable to find a moment to straighten his back since entering the exam room.
"Let's start the exam now."
Professor McGonagall didn't intend to trouble the little wizard further but glanced at a button on her desk. "For other students, their exam is to transform this button into a mouse. Of course, these are test questions that, thanks to your efforts, the overall strength of the first-year students has improved compared to previous years."
"But for you, I naturally have different requirements. Your exam project needs to be a bit special compared to other little wizards. After all, we all know just how special you are."
Professor McGonagall tapped lightly on the desk with her finger.
"What do I need to transform it into?"
Ian blinked, indicating his acceptance.
After a moment of silence, Professor McGonagall's eyes wavered slightly as she softly spoke, "A flying broom. Remember, I want a flying broom, not just any broom."
