Chapter 500 - Chapter 152: The Weight of the Crown and Upheaval!

"I'm just here with them for company, after all, staying home alone is no fun." Tina shrugged, offering Nicolas Flamel a big smile.

"You're all being ridiculous, time is not something you can just meddle with casually, and that's why the Ministry of Magic prohibits anyone from privately possessing a Time Converter."

"You have your regrets, he has his dreams... If everyone is reckless, it will definitely lead to catastrophes that can't be resolved. We need to respect time and destiny."

Nicolas Flamel wasn't unwilling to help his friends, but as an Alchemy Master, he understood the pitfalls and hidden dangers of the Time Converter better than most.

"I truly won't attempt to change anything, believe me, I will definitely remember all the rules of crossing time." Queenie knew that Nicolas Flamel's reprimand wasn't wrong.

But her guilt and regret had been tormenting her for several months now, often resulting in hallucinations and nightmares, dreaming that her husband died from anger during an argument with her.

If she couldn't find out whether her husband passed away naturally, Queenie felt she might never have a day of peace in her life.

"It's not about whether you remember or not, the main issue is the Time Converter... Well, you know, Hourglass Sand isn't something you can just find anywhere." Nicolas Flamel glanced at his office drawer, intending to politely refuse Queenie and Newt Scamander with this well-known reason.

However.

Even with the Prophet's bloodline shared with Grindelwald, and just like Grindelwald's occasional slip-ups, Nicolas Flamel's perfect plan was clearly facing a major crisis.

"If it's about not having enough Hourglass Sand, I have plenty here; a little wizard just gave me a big bag earlier!" Queenie, grasping her lifeline, pulled out a small cloth bag filled with Black Sand.

"????"

Nicolas Flamel was stunned. In his disbelief, Newt Scamander and Tina also each took out a small cloth bag filled with Black Sand.

"Motherf***er!"

The well-informed Alchemy Master was nearly popping his eyeballs out.

"Then there shouldn't be any problem, right? We can cover our own expenses?" Newt Scamander's eager voice was full of anticipation.

His eyes were bright, very bright.

Perhaps he saw it as a beautiful opportunity to meet ancient Fantastic Beasts.

"Just how much did that little creature dig up?" Nicolas Flamel knew where the Black Sand came from, he just couldn't imagine Ian casually handing out that much.

From what he knew of that little wizard, unless there was a few dozen pounds of it, that little wizard wouldn't be so generous to give it away like this!

"You mean the little wizard we just met, Mr. Ian Prince? He said he dug up a lot." Newt Scamander replied honestly.

"He actually gave you three whole bags? I doubt even the Mysterious Affairs Department could gather that much original sand. I'm curious, did you perhaps compliment him on his looks?"

Nicolas Flamel was clearly puzzled as to why Ian would give away Hourglass Sand so freely.

The only possibility he could think of was that Ian was happy from compliments, after all, Ian had given out plenty of candy and chocolate to little witches who praised his handsomeness.

And he'd been calling himself the "Triple Leonardo" ever since. Maybe wizards don't know what that means, but Nicolas Flamel, who had studied Muggle affairs extensively, certainly did.

This year, "Different Skies" was his favorite Muggle movie.

"This is what happened, Newt found his Tree-Protecting Leprechaun, so..." Tina began to recount the story of their encounter with the little wizard in the Hogwarts hall.

"That Tree-Protecting Leprechaun wasn't lost; it had escaped..." Nicolas Flamel slapped his forehead. He thought he had been benevolent by saving an innocent Fantastic Beast.

Who would have thought.

The Tree-Protecting Leprechaun was sent back by this world's biggest Fantastic Beasts enthusiast.

If this story gets out... it's truly the wonder of destiny.

"Huh? But that little wizard doesn't seem like someone who would mistreat Fantastic Beasts, right?" Tina was taken aback, clearly bewildered by Nicolas Flamel's words.

"Yes, the Tree-Protecting Leprechaun was very well taken care of by him. I can assure you it wasn't mistreated." Newt Scamander spoke firmly within his area of expertise.

"Indeed, he's not stingy with food, and he likes Fantastic Beasts... But haven't you noticed that Tree-Protecting Leprechaun is filled with anxiety and uneasiness?"

Nicolas Flamel sighed helplessly.

"Huh?"

Newt Scamander furrowed his eyebrows, "I did notice that, however, when I found the little guy, it was attempting to settle down under The Whomping Willow."

"I thought it was refused by The Whomping Willow and was frightened by its aggressive temperament." Newt Scamander recounted how he discovered the Tree-Protecting Leprechaun.

"Hiss, this Tree-Protecting Leprechaun has been raised abnormally, actually trying to settle under that wild Whomping Willow." Nicolas Flamel thought the Tree-Protecting Leprechaun had been influenced by the little wizard's temperament.

His words left Newt Scamander even more puzzled.
