Chapter 396 - Chapter 133: Ticket Prices and the Professor Who Fled

"In my opinion, even if you find that legend, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll get help from them... apart from you, no one would want to provoke time and fate."

Nicolas Flamel wanted to return the Ancient Time Converter to Albus Dumbledore.

However.

Albus Dumbledore did not accept it.

"Could you complete the other restoration work first?"

He looked at Nicolas Flamel with a hint of pleading in his eyes.

Nicolas Flamel was silent for a moment, "Of course, but without the help of the legend, even if you can deceive time, you can't collect and utilize those things that don't belong to us."

The Alchemy Master bluntly expressed his skepticism.

"Give me some time, I can find the hidden legend... even if they are unwilling to help, we can actually find other ways."

Albus Dumbledore's tone was unwaveringly firm.

His gaze met with Nicolas Flamel's once again, as always, profound and gentle, but this time it stirred up some turmoil within Nicolas Flamel's heart.

"I knew it! You're crazier than your old friend! More mad than your students!" Nicolas Flamel exclaimed in horror, an astonished expression on his wrinkled face.

Albus Dumbledore responded with silence, and long after, just when Nicolas Flamel had circled around him several times, he couldn't help but continue speaking with a helpless expression.

"Perhaps, you have another way?"

His tone carried a hint of hope.

However.

Nicolas Flamel merely shook his head.

"No, I'm just an Alchemist, not the Creator, I can't use substandard materials to replace the necessary ones, and even if I made it, would you dare to use such an inferior product?" The Alchemist said, then turned to move out a large box, his actions appearing slightly laborious.

Albus Dumbledore quickly stepped forward to help.

"Are you still obsessed with the study of the Creator?"

He asked curiously.

"Strictly speaking, I'm only obsessed with the True Creator mentioned in ancient alchemy texts." Nicolas Flamel corrected Albus Dumbledore's wording.

"Is there a difference?"

Albus Dumbledore wasn't fixated on this kind of ancient superstition, more illusory than the God of Death.

"There's definitely a difference, at least among us Alchemists, this True Creator we mention actually exists, and historically, several people have obtained His alchemical works."

Doing just a bit of physical work left Nicolas Flamel breathless.

"But you haven't found Him..." Albus Dumbledore hesitated to strongly refute the Alchemy Master's viewpoint, knowing how persistent he could be.

"If I had enough time, I'd definitely find Him, didn't expect that as Hogwarts' headmaster, you wouldn't believe this truth that surely existed."

Nicolas Flamel finally caught his breath, leaning against a large machine nearby, looking at Albus Dumbledore's puzzled expression, he spoke with a sigh.

"From what I've learned, your founders have seen the True Creator." Nicolas Flamel's voice was certain, yet it only made Albus Dumbledore more puzzled.

"Where did you hear such rumors?"

Speaking of the school's founders' past, the old headmaster felt he had some authority. However, his confidence only drew Nicolas Flamel's ridicule.

"You haven't read enough books."

The haggard Alchemist lowered his voice.

"This name is merely a title, the first person who saw Him was cursed to only refer to Him by this name, but in reality, the True Creator is just a Fantastic Beast."

"At least, appears to be a Fantastic Beast... He is a bird, and for a thousand years, He's been emblazoned on the Ravenclaw College crest."

Undoubtedly.

Nicolas Flamel's words were shockingly astonishing.

They even made Albus Dumbledore's eyes waver. Yet, at this moment, what puzzled Albus Dumbledore the most was still Nicolas Flamel's actions.

Once rested, this Alchemy Master, severely lacking in physical strength, opened the box he'd moved, and began madly packing things into it with loud clattering noises.

"What are you doing?"

Albus Dumbledore asked.

"Of course, I'm going to Hogwarts, are you're not welcoming me?" Nicolas Flamel finished packing, pulling his suitcase, leading Albus Dumbledore outside.

"Of course, you're welcome! Absolutely welcome! Our College's Professor of Alchemy just ran away today, perhaps you could also help out these future hopefuls?"

Albus Dumbledore clearly had not anticipated Nicolas Flamel's sudden idea, he immediately seized the opportunity to extend another invitation, as he had mentioned it to Nicolas Flamel more than once before.

Every time.

It had been politely declined.

But this time was evidently different.

"No problem, let me make use of my last value." Nicolas Flamel agreed readily, taking Albus Dumbledore by surprise.

"What made you come up with this idea?"

He was also very curious about Nicolas Flamel's change of mind.

"It's just for fun! Don't you know Alchemists are all joy seekers!" Nicolas Flamel said with a cheerful smile, his straightforward manner of speaking unchanged.
