Chapter 479 - Chapter 141: You Look Kind of Familiar_3

His gaze swept over the wanted posters on the wall, feeling vaguely familiar, but he couldn't remember where he'd seen them before.

He'd felt this way several times today—including the child who bumped into him at the bookstore, Troka felt like he had seen them somewhere, but couldn't quite place it.

Children's faces... they all look somewhat alike...

Troka thought, and suddenly paused in his steps.

The surrounding temperature dropped rapidly, chilling enough to make one shiver; all joy seemed to have left them, leaving only despair and sadness in their hearts...

He looked up, only to see hundreds of Dementors descending from the sky, rushing straight at the two of them!

Mabel also saw the horrifying scene and knew it was the "special unit" sent by the Ministry of Magic to capture her, and she immediately tried to jump up and run, but her arm suddenly tightened!

"Let go of me!"

She screamed, and half of her body instantly turned into black mist.

But Troka didn't see this scene; he was tightly focused on the Dementor at the front, and suddenly yanked Mabel towards him, spun her around with a quick slide of his foot.

"Boom!"

With a huge explosion, the Vampire Wizard vanished instantly with the Obscurus!

The Dementors lunged in vain, with the ones at the front crashing directly to the ground. Without a target, they searched the street aimlessly, their withered decaying figures full of anger, eventually fading into nothingness.

...

Mabel wobbled slightly, not yet steady on her feet, when she heard the Vampire beside her angrily say:

"What does the Ministry of Magic want by releasing these damn creatures? This is already the second time they've attacked innocent passersby! The last time the Hogwarts train was attacked must have been because the Dementors lost control. I almost believed their lies!"

Troka vented angrily, seeing the little girl staring at him blankly, thinking she must be scared, he gently comforted:

"I'm sorry, child. The situation was urgent, so I brought you back here first. Once those creatures leave in a few hours, I'll take you back to Diagon Alley, okay?"

Mabel cautiously remained silent.

Troka was somewhat used to her silence. He took it as her agreement, smiling as he said, "Make yourself comfortable, have some snacks, I'll go write a letter… Gall—"

Troka raised his voice, calling out to his nephew who was doing something in the bedroom, "Gall—come and entertain this child for me."

"Okay, Uncle Ryan—"

Gall responded loudly through the door.

Ryan Troka heard the sound of footsteps and smiled at Mabel before returning to his study at ease.

He himself had no power, but he could complain directly to Headmaster Dumbledore!

After another minute or two, Gall, yawning as he pulled on a sweater, emerged from the bedroom.

He ran his fingers through his messy hair, walked straight to the fridge, and asked, "What would you like to drink? Water, cola, or tea?"

While speaking, he casually glanced at the small guest his uncle had brought back, and his eyes widened. The cola he had just taken out fell to the ground with a "thud."

Gall opened his mouth to shout, but was suddenly pinned to the ground by something like black ink, with his neck trapped, as if even his breath was stolen!

"What's that sound, Gall?"

Lockhart, doing skincare in the bathroom, opened the door only to be yanked to the ground with great force, becoming a companion to Gall in misfortune.

The frail girl stood in the middle of the living room, her eyes already turned white, and half her body transformed into a massive black shadow, pressing the two down like a giant beast, rendering them unable to move!
