Chapter 1185 - Chapter 698: Reunion with Luoniao

"Guh-roar—!!"

The earth-shaking roar caused the previously battle-ready wild Pokémon to flee in panic.

Rocks of various sizes whistled through the air, successfully further scattering the wild Pokémon that had gathered together, making the scene incredibly chaotic.

A quick glance.

Not a single wild Pokémon retaliated; they were either running around or standing dumbfounded.

The somewhat united pack of Lycanrocs bared their teeth, nervously gazing at the colossal figure looming in the dust, akin to a metallic demon god.

In the past.

They would have fled upon encountering such an enemy.

But now, they must try to defeat the opponent, no matter how strong, to protect this newly claimed homeland!

"Aowoo—"

Leading the pack, the midnight Lycanroc howled loudly.

The surrounding day and night Lycanrocs' attention was instantly drawn, and they began to howl along, an orange-red light rising from their feet, rekindling their courageous hearts with escalating power.

[Long Howl], a general attribute transformation technique, possesses the effect of enhancing one's own physical attack.

Baimu maintained his smile.

He did not deny the possibility of many ants biting an elephant to death among Pokémon, but such a few Lycanrocs were unlikely to stir up much trouble.

"Go!"

"Guh-roar!"

Before the Lycanrocs could turn to Mega Aggron, the latter, prompted by Baimu, charged towards them first.

Buzz!

The piercing metallic screeching echoed incessantly.

Covered with a bright silver metal aura, Aggron was like a high-speed train rushing by, crossing tens of meters within a few breaths.

The earth trembled wildly with its heavy strides.

The Lycanroc leader's pupils shrunk to needles, quickly barking at its companions in Mega Aggron's charging direction, attempting to make them evade in advance.

But it was already too late.

The rushing silver giant light projectile raised a terrifying dust cloud, directly knocking several Lycanrocs that were in the way flying.

Unable to dodge, they screamed miserably, soaring high in a parabolic arc before crashing heavily back to the ground.

Crack!

The crisp sound of bodies hitting the ground swiftly made Helena avert her eyes in distress.

"Aowoo—!!"

While the Lycanroc leader's heart trembled, it was also roused fiercely by the scene, its blood-red eyes darker, screaming as it lunged towards Mega Aggron!

It raised its sharp claws, a glimmer of fire instantly igniting at their tips, rapidly spreading.

In an instant.

A pair of fiery claws radiating heat had formed, slashing heavily towards the halted Mega Aggron.

"Ow!"

"Ow-roar!"

The other Lycanrocs followed suit, taking out their most formidable techniques, launching attacks from all sides!

Bang bang bang bang!

Innumerable explosive dust storms flew.

Assaulted by a storm-like siege, Mega Aggron seemed powerless to resist, standing its ground, which also made the other fleeing wild Pokémon regroup as if seeing dawn.

Helena puzzled over why it didn't move, instinctively looked over at Baimu, seeing his anticipating expression, exclaiming in shock:

"Everyone be careful—"

Before the voice fell.

A dazzling silver flash rose from the dust, sending out energy waves so terrifying they twisted the air, outlining Mega Aggron's silhouette.

"Guh—roar!!"

With a roar, the silver flash exploded like an initiated nuclear bomb!

The blinding energy shock swept everything around in an instant, not a single Lycanroc attacking Mega Aggron escaped, all swallowed by the sky-high silver light!

Rumble rumble rumble—!!

The earth continuously shook, countless cracks intersecting in a particularly sinister manner.

The timid wild Pokémon in the distance took fright and ran away, successfully leading a group of individuals who never understood the situation into a great escape.

Fortunately, they remembered not to harm the plants, otherwise many painstakingly planted and fortunately surviving shrubs would have been trampled.

A moment later.

The dust enveloped the land.

The scattered wild Pokémon completely lost their will to resist, glancing at each other with whimpers, none daring to venture into the fog.

And they didn't enter.

Mega Aggron would come out on its own.

Thud, thud, thud…

Like a Silver Fortress beast, every step it took made the shattered earth shudder and resonated with a heavy pounding in the wild Pokémon's hearts.

The nameless wind blew, driving away the dust.

Mega Aggron held the battle-incapable Lycanroc leader, tossing it in front of the other Pokémon, looking down at these "uninvited guests" with a condescending gaze.

It considered itself quite courteous, unlike before heading to Hoenn, it wouldn't stop until the Pokémon provoking it screamed in despair all over the place.

It was not like a trainer, harboring mercy towards Pokémon.

In Mega Aggron's eyes, Pokémon and humans were not significantly different, belonging to the fourth entity outside of itself, a trainer, and companions.

"Uw…"

The wild Pokémon hung their heads, whimpering in fear, not daring to look directly at it.

They were thoroughly terrified of Mega Aggron.

The power held by the opponent was beyond their ability to counter, even N's Pokémon might not be a match for this guy.

They had originally distanced themselves to this "claimed land" after failing bitterly against some powerful Pokémon.

They never anticipated this newfound master of the mountain was even more formidable than those who had defeated them!
