Just an important addition to the notice left in the previous chapter: I do not intend to abandon anything in this story. At no point has that been, or ever was, my intention.
What I mentioned earlier is merely an idea, a hypothetical possibility—something that may or may not happen. It is not a decision that has been made, much less a definitive plan. It was simply a way to share with you a possible alternative path the fic could take, if I were to feel that this particular version of the story was not being as well received as expected.
I want to make it very clear that this does not mean I am going to simply give up on everything I have been building so far. Nothing is being thrown away or set aside impulsively.
This clarification was made solely with you, the readers, in mind. The feedback of those who follow the story is important to me, and considering other narrative possibilities is not a sign of abandonment, but rather of care and respect for those who are reading. Even so, the story continues to move forward as usual.
So please, don't worry. Nothing has been canceled, nothing has been discarded, and nothing has been decided hastily. This fic is still alive, ongoing, and with much more to come—especially the next arc set in another world, which will be from one of my favorite works, Fairy Tail.
