Harry and plushtrap began their walk around little winging, as Harry and plush trap walked the dark side walks they occasionally checked alleys though it seemed there were very few people around now.
"Seems the streets are rather empty tonight" Harry was a little miffed at the lack of remnant sources, it seemed he would have to find somewhere better if he ever needed a large amount of remnant perhaps New York would be a good place, from the conversations Harry heard from the Dursleys talk there was a lot of people there.
"Ya there has been a number of people leaving the area, apparently our little remnant hunts have attracted attention and people are scared they would be next" though plush trap mainly was watching the Dursleys house and Harry's vitals he had also kept a eye on the area around, many residents had started either moving out or having talks about it though it do noticeably reduce once Harry was asleep
Since no one seemed to be around for th time Harry decided to test if he had gotten any ability's from the transformation, Harry began by attempting to sense if anything inside him at changed, he only found one thing and that was a series of small, very small purple lines going out from himself he actually almost missed them from how difficult they were to feel and see.
The lines spread out from him and seemed to go into the houses and apartments around the number varied from 6 to what he has seen as the larges being 47, his first guess was perhaps they were a sort of danger scene they showed where threats were but that didn't make much sense given the number of lines. Another option was they showed him where his desired items were but this idea also got shot down once he tried thinking of something else and nothing changed.
After thinking and trying some ideas as to what the new ability was he decided to follow the line and find directly what they were, as Harry and plush trap followed the line or more exactly Harry followed it and plush trap followed Harry they came to a small apparent building Harry guess it probably had about 7-8 apartments, since Harry didn't have the same stealth as plush trap and plush trap could not see the lines they do not enter the building, instead they walked the outside and peered in when there was a open and non-blinded window.
Harry had finally found what the line led to he was currently sitting outside a window peering inside a living space perhaps more a dining room with a attached living room was more fitting as Harry was peering inside he followed the line that led straight to the television, the lines led to electronics tho it did not seem to run to most normal appliances like the stove only those that were not physically dependent to activate.
Harry started trying to use the line though it appeared even though he had the power he was completely clueless as to how it worked, he tried mentaly tugging the string, moving the sting around even trying to send anything he could possibly think through it. After about 12 minute of just standing outside the window attempting to use th string he finally got something to work, he tried to turn the tv on with his mind it came on only the tv also just so happened to have been set on quite a high volume and immediately awoke many people who were sleeping at that time, the moment the loud noise came Harry and plus trap bolted away, they quickly ran to a nearby alleyway and hid, no one was in the alley same as most others so Harry and plush trap decided to talk about the new power, "Harry did you turn the television on through mental will alone!" Plush trap was definitely excited this brought many new possibilities to the table it was also just something that looked fun "yes I believe I did that was one of the last things I thought might work before I had been trying to manipulate the string its self but it seems I can only use it for mental commands" Harry was quite sure the strings could do more it was mainly that he himself was completely new to this ability as seen by him standing out side a window for the past 12 minute.
"This is so cool we can do so much with this though I think we should get going it looks like people are not very happy about the noise" a quick glance was all that was needed a small handful of people had decided to check what made the noise and went outside Harry and plush trap started to make their way back to the dinner as it was starting to become morning and a small child with a robot half his size walking down a street alone was very suspicious. Back at the dinner Harry decided to gather the electronics to test his new ability some were apparently to broken to function as no string appeared for them, the pile that do work was pretty small though not surprising given the state the dinner is in, it's been eight years since the closing along with the partial demolishment the amount of surviving electronics was normal.
Harry decided to spend a bit of time working on the new power then he would make lol-bit a bodie though it appeared he needed some more material he was low on scrap and lol-bit looked very advanced compared to plush traps creation guess we will need to go out eventually.
