Chapter 107 - Chapter 107

The ride to Avalon Crescent Island took over an hour by road before they even reached the shoreline. The coastal highway stretched endlessly ahead, the sky painted in a soft afternoon blue, and the sea occasionally flashing between distant cliffs.

‎When they finally reached the shore, the vast ocean spread before them in a breathtaking display of deep sapphire and shimmering silver. The salty breeze brushed gently against their faces, carrying the distant cry of seabirds.

‎Waiting at the dock was a sleek speedboat David Mark had arranged. Its polished white surface reflected the sunlight, and the engine hummed softly in readiness.

‎"I think It will take about fifteen minutes from here," David Mark said, gesturing to the GPS on his phone.

‎Su Ning gave a small nod and stepped aboard gracefully, her posture calm and composed. Ah Mei followed closely behind her, while Xia Lin climbed in carefully, his eyes scanning the waters as if already expecting something magical to rise from beneath them. Ah Ting remained silent, observant, as the boat roared to life.

‎The speedboat cut through the clear blue waters with powerful precision, leaving a trail of white foam in its wake. The wind swept through Su Ning's hair, and she closed her eyes briefly, breathing in the freedom that came with standing at the edge of something entirely her own. The sun glistened across the ocean surface, and in the distance, a stretch of green slowly came into view.

‎Avalon Crescent Island.

‎At first glance, it looked like a hidden paradise suspended in the middle of endless water. As they drew closer, its beauty unfolded layer by layer. It spanned eight kilometers, wrapped in soft white sand that shimmered like powdered pearls beneath the sun.

‎Tall palm trees swayed gently in the breeze, their shadows dancing across the shore. The waters surrounding the island were crystal clear, revealing hints of coral and marine life beneath.

‎At the heart of the island stood one grand central mansion, wide and majestic, designed with elegant symmetry and modern sophistication. Its white and champagne-toned exterior gleamed under the sunlight, and its panoramic glass walls reflected the ocean from every direction.

‎Around the mansion, six refined villas were discreetly tucked into quiet corners of the island, each surrounded by lush greenery, winding stone pathways, and carefully curated gardens bursting with tropical blooms.

‎A sleek glass observatory tower rose gracefully toward the sky, its transparent structure designed to offer uninterrupted views of both horizon and stars.

‎Near the cliffs, an infinity pavilion stretched boldly toward the ocean, its open architecture blending seamlessly into the endless blue beyond. The design gave the illusion that the structure itself floated between sea and sky.

‎Closer to the shore lay a stylish beach lounge adorned with shaded daybeds draped in white linen, low wooden tables, and subtle lantern fixtures that would glow warmly at dusk.

‎Beneath the island, concealed within its core, was an exclusive underground clubhouse illuminated with soft ambient lighting, featuring private entertainment suites, a premium wine cellar, a luxury cinema hall, and soundproofed leisure spaces.

‎Along the coast curved a private marina holding a polished speedboat ready for immediate departure at any time.

‎Not far from it, a smooth helipad rested on a raised platform, seamlessly integrated into the island's layout. Deeper within the greenery, a tranquil waterfall flowed down natural rock formations into a clear pool, creating a sanctuary that completed the island's quiet and luxurious charm.

‎As the speedboat docked at the marina, David Mark's jaw dropped openly. He removed his sunglasses as if doubting his own sight. "This… this is beyond anything I imagined," he muttered, nearly losing his composure.

‎Xia Lin stepped onto the dock slowly, turning in a full circle, his mouth slightly open.

‎Even Ah Ting and Ah Mei had the faintest flicker of astonishment pass through their usually expressionless faces, though they quickly regained their composure.

‎Su Ning stood still for a moment, taking in the view before her. A quiet sense of satisfaction settled in her chest. She had expected luxury, but seeing it in person felt different. It felt powerful.

‎Without hesitation, she walked toward the main mansion, her steps confident. The others followed closely behind.

‎As the grand double doors opened, the interior revealed itself in breathtaking splendor. The entrance hall soared upward with a double-height ceiling adorned with a custom crystal chandelier that cascaded like a frozen waterfall of light. The floors were polished, inlaid with subtle gold veins, reflecting the natural sunlight streaming through expansive glass panels.

‎A sweeping curved staircase with glass balustrades and gold-accented railings led to the upper floors. The living room featured plush ivory sofas arranged around a low sculpted marble table.

‎A suspended modern fireplace sat at the center, enclosed in transparent glass, giving the room warmth without obstructing the open view.

‎Floor-to-ceiling windows wrapped around the mansion, offering uninterrupted views of the sea from nearly every angle. The dining hall housed a long handcrafted table made of rare wood, illuminated by minimalist pendant lights.

‎The kitchen was expansive and impeccably designed, fitted with state-of-the-art appliances, marble countertops, a wine display wall, and a separate chef's preparation kitchen hidden behind sliding panels.

‎There were nine spacious bedrooms in addition to the master suite, each with its own en-suite bathroom featuring rainfall showers, soaking tubs, heated floors, and walk-in closets.

‎The mansion also contained a private home theater with reclining leather seats, a game lounge equipped with advanced gaming consoles and billiards, a wellness spa area with sauna and steam rooms, a fully equipped gym overlooking the ocean, and a grand indoor-outdoor swimming pool that connected seamlessly to the terrace.

‎David Mark let out a disbelieving laugh. "Holy shit!," he could not help but to curse out loud. "This is absurd."

‎Xia Lin wandered around in amazement, touching surfaces carefully, examining every detail with pure amazement.

‎Su Ning, however, moved straight upstairs toward the master bedroom. Ah Mei carried her suitcase silently behind her.

‎The master suite was bathed in golden sunlight streaming through floor-to-ceiling glass walls. The room was vast yet elegantly arranged. A king-sized bed draped in soft neutral linens stood at the center.

‎Opposite it was a large seating area with velvet armchairs and a low coffee table. To the side, a grand walk-in closet lined with illuminated glass cabinets displayed organized compartments for clothing, jewelry, and accessories.

‎The bathroom was a masterpiece in itself. A massive marble jacuzzi large enough for four sat beside a glass wall overlooking the ocean.

‎Twin vanities with gold fixtures reflected the soft lighting. There was also a private dressing lounge, a built-in vanity table, a concealed safe room, and an automated lighting system controlled by voice or panel.

‎Ah Mei placed the suitcase gently on the bed and exited quietly.

‎Su Ning stood near the window, gazing at the ocean below. She was extremely satisfied with what she saw.

‎After a moment, she changed into a soft yet luxurious tomboyish outfit, high-waisted tailored beige shorts paired with a loose white silk shirt tucked casually at the front.

‎Over it, she wore a lightweight sky-blue cropped jacket with subtle embroidery along the edges. On her feet were clean white designer sneakers with minimal gold detailing, after which she put on a silver ankle chain with tiny pearl drops.

‎She selected a soft, dazzling sky-blue jade pendant necklace that rested delicately against her slender neck. On the upper tip of her right ear, she placed a three-diamond ring that caught the light brilliantly.

‎She chose a delicate bracelet of fine silver with a single sapphire charm. Then she gathered her jet-black hair into a messy bun, leaving a few strands to frame her face.

‎When she descended, David Mark soon excused himself respectfully to attend to somethings at the company. After he left, she instructed Xia Lin to choose any room and settle in. He thanked her earnestly before hurrying off, barely hiding his excitement.

‎Later, Su Ning stepped onto the balcony and slid open the massive glass doors. A cool breeze brushed against her face as sunlight warmed her skin. Before her lay the grand swimming pool, its water shimmering like liquid sapphire.

‎She smiled softly and took out her phone.

‎The first selfie captured her flawless face framed by loose strands of hair, the three-diamond earring glittering subtly, and the sky-blue jade pendant resting gracefully on her collarbone. The ocean shimmered faintly behind her.

‎The second selfie showed her full outfit, hands casually tucked into her pockets, one hip slightly tilted. The background displayed the pool, the endless sea, and the distant observatory tower. She radiated a careless yet unmistakably wealthy aura.

‎Even she paused for a second, surprised at how unreal the photos looked.

‎She posted them on her Startok page with the caption: 'It's a nice day to breathe.'

‎Unbothered, Su Ning logged out.

‎Within seconds, the post exploded. In mere minutes, likes and views surpassed three hundred thousand and continued climbing. Comments flooded in, praising her beauty, speculating about her location, admiring her effortless style.

‎@StarryNight_88:

‎"IS SHE EVEN REAL??? 😭😭 That skin is glowing like she was born under sunlight itself ✨"

‎@UrbanKingX:

‎"Okay but can we talk about that jade necklace?? That's not cheap. That's 'I-own-the-world' level rich 💎🔥"

‎@CaptainAesthetic:

‎"That background though?? Where is she at?? That pool + ocean combo is insane 🌊🏝️"

‎@TheRealFashionNerd:

‎"That tomboyish fit is everything. Casual but screams money. The jacket alone probably costs my rent for 2 years 😭💀"

‎@LunaShinesBright:

‎"Damn! Doesn't even looks like she's wearing make up, she is so damn fine❣️"

‎@LuxuryLifeAddict:

‎"That careless rich aura is dangerous. She's not flexing but she's FLEXING."

‎Thirty minutes later, she decided to explore the city and pick up a few things. She retrieved a bank card containing one hundred million yuan from her space.

‎"System, convert the money in here to dollars."

‎"Just a moment Host," the system's mechanical voice sounded.

‎Shortly after, "Host the 100 million yuan has been converted to 70 million dollars, available for host."

‎"Thanks System." She replied and stepped out the door.

‎Ah Mei and Ah Ting who had been patrolling, approached her immediately.

‎"Young Miss," they bowed.

‎She smiled gently and told them they did not need to remain on constant patrol. . She asked Ah Ting to stay while Ah Mei accompanied her.

‎They walked to the marina. The speedboat roared as they departed. Once they reached the shore, they alighted from the speedboat. Su Ning spread her out her divine sense briefly to make sure there was no one near before retrieving her sports car from the space.

‎The sleek vehicle appeared silently. She stepped inside, Ah Mei settling in the passenger seat and with calm confidence, sped toward the city.
