Chapter 104 - Chapter 104

The morning light filtered softly through the floor-to-ceiling windows, brushing Su Ning's face as she slowly opened her eyes. It was seven o'clock, and the villa was quiet, almost reverent with a surreal glow.

‎She stretched languidly, putting aside her huge teddy bear as she stood up. After a long bath, she emerged feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, her skin glowing with vitality.

‎Su Ning dressed, choosing a cream silk blouse with delicate, almost imperceptible embroidery that shimmered under the light. Over it, she draped a tailored, ebony-colored blazer with sharp lines that accentuated her tall, poised frame.

‎Her trousers were high-waisted, deep charcoal, flowing elegantly yet fitting like a second skin, ending in glossy, pointed leather boots with subtle gold trims.

‎ Around her neck rested a fine platinum chain holding a single teardrop diamond pendant that caught the light with every subtle movement, a thin silver chain on right ankle, and a small diamond ear climber on left ear only.

‎On her wrist, a sleek, black-faced watch gleamed subtly, an understated signal of refined power. Her hair was styled in a loose, sophisticated bun, a few strands falling just so to frame her ethereal face.

‎A luxurious leather bag in matte black rested beside her, large enough to hold essentials yet elegant enough to complete the ensemble.

‎Satisfied, she opened her space and selected a few additional outfits, jewelry, handbags, and shoes, tossing them in with a thought. They hovered neatly, ready for use whenever she needed them.

‎Then, descending the staircase, she entered the main hall. Ah Ming was nowhere to be seen, presumably attending to some task in the villa, but Ah Wei greeted her as he often did, his posture respectful and precise.

‎"Good morning, Young Miss," he said, presenting a cup of coffee, the aroma rich and inviting.

‎"Good morning," Su Ning replied, her tone soft yet imbued with calm authority. She accepted the cup, letting the warmth seep into her palms before taking a slow sip.

‎"Would you like to eat something?" Ah Wei asked.

‎Su Ning shook her head gently, a slight smile playing on her lips. "No, not now. Just this will do." She swirled the coffee, savoring the subtle bitterness mingling with creamy notes, grounding her for the tasks ahead.

‎Just then, her phone rang. She glanced at the screen and saw David Mark's name. "Good morning, David," she said, answering promptly in English.

‎"Hello Miss Su," he replied with measured respect. "Your car is ready at the airport whenever you arrive."

‎Su Ning's lips curved into a knowing smile. "David, have the car wait in the independent airfield. I'll be arriving in my personal jet."

‎A short silence followed. The man on the other end of the line sounded slightly startled, but he quickly regained his composure. "Of course, Miss Su. I will do as instructed."

‎"Good," Su Ning said simply, ending the call. She finished her coffee with unhurried elegance, then turned to her staff. "Ah Wei, Ah Ming, take care of the villa and keep an eye on the estate while I'm away."

‎"Understood, Young Miss," they said in unison, bowing lightly before escorting her to the vehicle. Ah Ming brought along her suitcase, following behind her.

‎Su Ning slid into the plush leather seat of her Xenon Seraph X9, and Ah Ming carefully placed the suitcase in the back. As she drove off, the cityscape of F gradually gave way to open roads, and an hour later, the sprawling outskirts of City F came into view, where her private airfield lay, a fortress of luxury and exclusivity.

‎At the gate, two security men stationed there halted the car. Su Ning did not speak; she merely extended her hand and produced the airfield ownership pass.

‎The moment the guards saw it, their postures shifted from routine authority to astonished respect. Both men straightened instantly, bowing slightly.

‎"Welcome Miss."

‎Their minds reeled; the owner of this vast airfield was not the older, stern business magnate they expected, but a young woman, radiating a calm and unshakable power that belied her age.

‎Su Ning stepped out gracefully, bringing her suitcase with her. The morning sun reflected off the tarmac, and her eyes widened slightly as she took in the full scope of her private jet.

‎The craft was immense, its fuselage gleaming under the light with a pearlescent finish. Each curve was sculpted to perfection, designed not only for speed and efficiency but as a statement of unparalleled luxury.

‎The wings glinted faintly, revealing subtle gold accents along the edges, and the massive doors opened with a silent hiss, revealing steps lined with polished wood leading into the cabin.

‎As she admired the sight, a group of uniformed security personnel approached, their expressions cautious.

‎"May I ask who you are?" the leader asked, a hint of suspicion in his voice.

‎Su Ning lifted her chin, her tone calm and unassailable. "I am Su Ning. The airfield belongs to me." She extended the ownership pass, letting it hover in front of them for a moment.

‎Recognition dawned instantly. Their eyes widened, shrinking in awe and disbelief, and one by one, they bowed deeply. "Welcome, Miss," the leader said, voice tight with respect. "Uhm...do you require a pilot?"

‎Su Ning shook her head firmly, her expression cool and measured. "My pilots will arrive shortly, thanks."

‎The leader nodded without questioning, bowing again before leaving. Once they were out of sight, Su Ning waved her car into her space, vanishing from the tarmac and reappearing next to the jet.

‎She then summoned Ah Ting and Ah Mei through the telepathy link. Almost instantly, they materialized before her, bowing in unison with unwavering discipline. Ah Mei picked up the suitcase, and Su Ning gave a subtle nod before turning to enter the jet.

‎Both Ah Ting and Ah Mei's eyes widened slightly at the sheer scale and luxury of the interior, yet no words escaped them. They followed silently, their respect for Su Ning manifesting in their composure.

‎The cabin itself was a marvel of design: cream leather seats, each with adjustable memory settings, golden trims catching the ambient light, and a polished mahogany floor that gleamed under soft, recessed lighting.

‎The walls were adorned with subtle, abstract artwork, while discreet compartments held state-of-the-art entertainment systems, communications devices, and refreshment panels filled with delicacies.

‎The spaciousness allowed them to move freely, with small lounges along the sides for guests and plush reclining seats that could transform into beds. It also had few rooms, restrooms and kitchen.

‎Once inside, Su Ning's attention shifted. She needed her pilots. She summoned Ah Fu and Ah Ling, who appeared with swift precision, bowing low upon arrival. Both paused for a moment, absorbing the enormity of the jet. Even they, seasoned in their roles as guardians, were momentarily awed.

‎Without a word, Su Ning decided creating extra piloting memories for them wasn't bad, it was better than hiring outsiders.

‎She formed a series of hand seals, her motions fluid and confident. Streams of information poured from her consciousness into theirs, imparting the memories and skills of expert jet pilots.

‎As soon as the transfer was complete, Ah Fu and Ah Ling's eyes glimmered with understanding; every procedural step, every emergency maneuver, every subtle control nuance was now ingrained in them. Without hesitation, they moved toward the cockpit, their movements precise and measured.

‎Su Ning exhaled softly, a satisfied smile gracing her features, then lowered herself into one of the luxurious seats. Ah Mei positioned herself, standing right next to her, and Su Ning's smile widened slightly. "No need to stand on guard Mei, sit," she instructed quietly, her tone gentle yet commanding. Ah Mei obeyed without hesitation, sitting opposite her.

‎Moments later, Ah Ting returned, carrying a bottle of rich, deep-red wine and a matching glass cup, accompanied by a plate of delicate chocolate snacks. "For you, Young Miss," he said, her voice low, respectful.

‎Su Ning's eyes flickered with appreciation as she accepted the wine, tasting the snacks with a soft sigh of bliss. She leaned back slightly, savoring both the flavors and the calm that enveloped the cabin.

‎Ah Ling's voice suddenly echoed in Su Ning's mind, a telepathic whisper that carried both respect and urgency. "Shall we take off now, Young Miss?"

‎Su Ning's lips curved in a faint smile, shaking her head ever so slightly. "Not yet," she replied silently, her voice calm and measured. Her glance drifted to the cabin clock; it was 9 a.m., just an hour before her scheduled meeting with Xia Lin.

‎She closed her eyes briefly, releasing her divine senses to sweep over the entire airfield. Every corner, every perimeter, every subtle motion was visible to her. Soon, her attention focused on a small taxi pulling up to the gate. Through the enhanced perception, she could see Xia Lin stepping out, a suitcase in hand, as he settled the fare with the driver.

‎A subtle concentration of her mind extended toward the security guard at the gate, reaching out through the telepathy, she spoke. "He's with me. Let him in."

‎The guard froze mid-step, a shiver running through him as a voice sounded his mind. Confusion warred within him. He glanced around; his partner's eyes mirrored nothing of what he had heard.

‎Su Ning's voice intruded again, calm but firm. "His name is Xia Lin. Confirm this and let him through immediately."

‎The realization that he wasn't hallucinating hit him fully this time, and his knees weakened slightly, in recognition, wondering what kind of entity he had met, he hastily confirmed Xia Lin's identity and let him through while bowing in the direction of the airfield. His partner looking at him like he had gone crazy.

‎Fifteen minutes later, Xia Lin's eyes widened as he approached the airfield, taking in the overwhelming sight of the jet.

‎Ah Mei stood at the entrance, her posture perfect, her aura oozing a quiet, commanding presence that left him momentarily paralyzed. He bowed reflexively, the weight of her presence demanding his immediate respect.

‎Wordlessly, she turned smoothly, leading him inside. Xia Lin followed, bewilderment etched across his features. The cabin was unlike anything he had imagined: vast, opulent, and meticulously crafted. Every surface, every light, every detail exuded refinement.

‎Finally, his gaze fell on Su Ning herself. She was seated elegantly, wine in hand, the embodiment of ethereal grace and absolute control. Her posture was effortless yet commanding, and her expression serene yet piercing, her looks ethereal, the kind that made time seem to bend around her presence.

‎Xia Lin swallowed hard, suddenly unsure how to comport himself before her.

‎Su Ning motioned lightly for him to approach and sit. Xia Lin's legs moved almost automatically, snapping him from his stupor. He bowed once, careful and precise. "G-good morning Miss Su."

‎Su Ning smiled faintly, a soft warmth threading through her usually unreadable expression. "Relax. Sit. There is no need for formality here."

‎Xia Lin hesitated for a fraction of a second before settling into the seat, still overwhelmed by the surroundings and the aura of the two other people he presumed to be her bodyguards.

‎Ah Ting placed a bottle of wine and a glass cup beside him, Xia Lin immediately bowed subconsciously, "T-thank you."

‎A subtle telepathic nudge from Su Ning reached Ah Ling and Ah Fu. "Commence."

‎The engines roared to life, a deep, controlled sound that filled the cabin and resonated through the tarmac, shaking the ground slightly. Slowly, gracefully, the jet lifted into the sky, gliding with power and elegance, leaving the ground far behind.

‎Su Ning leaned back in her seat, closing her eyes, allowing herself to feel the quiet thrill of controlled flight, of power, and of freedom.

‎Xia Lin's hands gripped the armrests tightly. He sat tensed. He had never seen or dreamt of flying in an airplane all his life, but now he couldn't believe he was currently sitted in a private jet.

‎Soon, he slowly relaxed as he looked around, taking in the magnificent view, In awe, he reached for his new phone he had recently gotten, the urge irresistible, and began taking a few selfies to send to his sister later, he grinned in exictement as he pictured her shocked face when she sees it.
