Lucian's POV-
A number of men appeared from behind the boxes and cans.
Before I could process anything.
Damon charges towards one of them.
And soon a dangerous fight broke out.
Everyone jumped in.
Adrian stretched his hands.
"I can stand up, I am not weak. But we need to send Aria to the hospital."
I stood up.
"Fine, let's go then." Adrian pulled out the car keys.
Suddenly , one of the men ran towards me, with a pipe in his hand.
I ducked, kicked in his stomach and held him from the neck.
I choked him until he stopped breathing.
"You killed him..." Adrian looked at the dead body.
"He deserved to die." I held Aria and moved towards Aurora.
"Don't tell me you are going to ask her for help." Adrian stopped me.
"I know I shouldn't but we have no other option. I cannot leave you all here alone and also Aria
is in serious condition." I looked straight in his eyes
"We can fight, come on, believe us." Adrian stopped me again.
"You can fight the men but not my father." I stepped forward.
"You don't know what he plans, you can fight with pipes and bats but can you fight Aria's
grandmother? Can you hurt her ?"
Adrian stepped back .
I moved forward.
Aurora was fighting very effortlessly.
It wasn't something to be seen so easily in a student.
Such fighting skills were rare.
"Aurora, I need your help."
She stopped fighting and looked towards me.
"At least someone values me..." She stopped speaking as soon as she saw Aria.
"What happened to her?" Aurora questioned.
"Take her to the hospital now." I pleaded
"Fine, Maya and Jayden will help you." She called out to them.
Maya and Jayden ran toward us.
"Speak up, fast. We don't have time." Jayden blabbered.
"Take Aria to the hospital." I instructed.
"Fine." Maya moved forward.
"Follow me." I stepped towards the backdoor.
"Where are we going?" Jayden asked.
"Towards my car." I replied.
"Why did you park it at the back side?" Maya questioned.
"Stop talking and follow me." I shouted.
It wasn't hard to carry Aria.
She is very light, so we reached near the car as soon as possible.
I placed Aria in the back seat and handed the car keys to Jayden.
"Be careful and reach the hospital safely." I rushed back to the basement.
I saw my father, he was talking on the phone.
I slowly moved towards him.
"Do whatever you are supposed to but I need to catch Lucian! And what about that girl?"
He was shouting on the phone.
[ Don't worry about Aria, I'll handle it. Just make sure these children don't exit from this basement]
"Fine…"
He hung up, and looked around.
I quickly hid myself behind a can.
"Lucian, we can't take them down anymore." Aurora approached me.
"Damon is also not able to take it anymore." She stammered.
"Fine, Aurora. Take everyone away, you have 5 minutes, I'll keep my father busy and send
Nikos, Stephen and Stella here." I instructed her.
"Who are they?" She asked.
"Adrian will help you and also, ask Stephen to bring the termination letter of the contract given to
Sinclairs, now go fast!" I pushed her forward.
I stood up and moved towards my father.
"Oh! So you are here my son!" He smiled.
"Lysander, your son is not a good child. He never listens to you." Aria's grandma mocked me.
"I don't need your opinions!" I shouted.
"Watch your mouth!" Lysander shouted.
"It isn't me, you are the reason for the sufferings you caused to me and mom! You are not a
father but a monster! You aren't a human being!"
"Lucian! I never did anything, it was your mother who didn't listen to me! I have always loved
Her."
He threw the box behind him.
"If you had always loved her, then why did you abandon her! Do you even know that she is
dead!" Anger surged through my veins.
"Dead?" He looked at me.
His expressions went dark.
All I could see was that he didn't speak another word.
His head dropped, I couldn't see whether he was crying or laughing.
"Lysander?" Aria's grandmother stepped forward.
"Lucian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I heard Nikos shout.
I looked behind, Stella, Stephen and Nikos were there.
"Are you okay?" Stella questioned me.
But before Stephen could speak.
I heard a laugh, soft but bold.
I looked at Lysander, and yes, that monster was the one laughing shamelessly.
"Dead! Yes, I knew! I knew she would die without me!" He laughed even louder.
My fists tightened.
"Shameless!" I shouted and charged forward.
And in no time, his neck was between my fingers.
"Lucian! No, if you kill him, the contract would never end! The Sinclairs will never back down!"
Stephen warned me.
"Lu-lu-cia-cian, s-t-sto-stop, I ca-can-can't br-bre-breathe!" Lysander tried to loosen my grip.
"Am I looking like a fool?" I spoke, my voice strong and loud!
"It's enough of you playing with me. I was just trying to ask you slowly, I pleaded. I didn't take
any harsh steps. But now, look at what your son is going to do."
"Stephen, have you brought the termination letter?" I looked at him.
My eyes were all red, hands tight, and face sweaty.
"Y-yes!" He stammered.
"Give me…" I stretched out my other hand.
He handed me the letter.
"Pen!" I demanded.
Stephen quickly handed me the pen.
While my father was still struggling to loosen my grip,I dragged him to the nearby table.
I opened the cap of the pen.
"Sign it now, or it's the last day you breathe." I warned him.
His body trembled. I know, I can't kill him, my mom never taught me to disrespect anyone, if he
is older than me. But also, my mother told me to not step back, when that older person crosses
my boundaries.
He disrespected mom, and today, I am not letting him get through this so easily.
"Sign!" I shouted.
He had no option. I loosened my grip, he quickly took the pen and signed the paper.
"Now leave me!" He shouted.
"Lucian, he is your father! Have some pity!" Aria's grandmother finally spoke up.
"Go home and say thanks to Aria, it's because of her, that you are still alive, or I could have just
killed you with the nip of this pen!" I shouted.
I threw Lysander on the ground.
"Don't show me your face again! Not in this lifetime"
I took the letter and stepped out of the basement.
"Lucian, you were too…" I stared at Stella.
"Think before you speak…" I whispered.
"Good!" She quickly changed her sentence.
"I think now you should make decisions with a cool mindset…" Stephen instructed.
He looked at the termination letter in my hand and then into my eyes.
"Let's have a meeting with the Sinclairs, we'll sort out this whole thing. And finally, you will be
free to live." Stephen stepped forward and patted my shoulder.
"Get in the car, and next time, think before you act."
He stepped in.
I too sat in the car and went directly to my home.
After reaching inside the house, I handed the letter to Stephen and went upstairs.
I took a shower and got dressed, I still shouldn't forget what all chaos happened today.
I opened the drawer to keep the pen, and there I saw Aria's bracelet.
"Shit! I forgot! Aria is in the hospital, I need to hurry!"
I quickly got down, took the car keys and ran outside.
"Aunt, I'll be back soon!" I spoke and rushed down the stairs.
"Wait, I'll accompany you!" Nikos insisted.
"Fine, get in the car." I pushed him forward.
I dialed Jayden's number but it was unreachable.
Maya's phone was also switched off.
Now what should I do?
Suddenly, I remembered Aria's earrings.
I pulled out my phone and opened the tracking app.
The location beeped on the screen.
"Got it!" I started driving.
"You seem in a hurry?" Nikos questioned.
"Stop speaking or I'll throw you out!" I warned him.
Soon we reached the Wenming hospital at the Cross Red Street.
Yes, the same hospital where my aunt is hospitalized.
"Why are we here?" Nikos asked.
"Follow me" I instructed.
I went near the reception.
"How can I help you sir?"
"Is there any patient named Aria Sinclair?" I asked.
"Yes sir, room no. 104, towards your left." The receptionist pointed upstairs.
I quickly rushed upstairs, Nikos followed me.
"Lucian! 104, here!" Nikos shouted.
I rushed towards him.
I opened the door and entered inside.
Almost everyone was there.
And Aria was awake, sitting on the sofa.
As soon as I entered, everyone stared at me, but no one spoke.
"WHAT HAPPENED HERE? WHY AREN'T YOU SPEAKING, JAYDEN?" I looked at him.
"Aria's uncle came here." He spoke up.
My body shivered, he came here?
But why? How did he know Aria's location?
"He said that if Aria is seen with you again, he will send her to Greece forever." Adrian spoke.
"He warned her that if she does not come home till 6 today, she will be excluded from the
Sinclair's." Maya stared at me.
"Then let's see what he does today." I spoke up.
Nikos stared at me.
I pulled out my phone.
And dialed Stephen's number.
[Hello?]
"Reach Sinclair's house along with the termination letter of the contract, now."
[Sure, on the way!]
He didn't argue or protest but simply agreed.
"Aria, let's go" I stepped forward.
She stood up.
"Fine."
