Ultimately, Jellal joined the New Oración Seis.

Roubaul, having experienced so much in life and death (both his real body and his Thought Projection), and having met all sorts of people, was willing to give Jellal a chance to take revenge on the Black Magic Cult.

Noah's idea was originally conceived for Roubaul, and since the person involved had spoken, he naturally had no objections.

However, to reassure Noah and Mystogan, Roubaul cast a mind Magic called "Golden Fillet" on Jellal, Midnight, Cobra, Hoteye, and Angel.

If they didn't harbor thoughts of falling back into evil, then all would be well.

But if they were to conceive any bad intentions again, the mind Magic "Golden Fillet" would inflict physical punishment on the caster, as if wearing a constantly tightening "fillet" on their head, causing them excruciating headaches and unbearable pain.

"A senior is indeed a senior; this mind Magic is truly masterful."

Watching Roubaul casually display his skill, instantly ensnaring Jellal and the other four with an invisible mental lasso, Noah finally remembered that this old man was a figure from four hundred years ago.

Many of the spells now known as "Lost Magic" that were on the verge of being forgotten due to their difficulty, were, in Roubaul's era, not considered "lost" at all; some of them were even created by Mages of that time.

Knowing that there was an ulterior motive behind Noah's flattery, Roubaul saw through him at a glance. "Speak, what do you want from me?"

"Hehe, Senior, what are you talking about?"

Noah continued, without batting an eye, "I just want to ask Senior to impart some Magical knowledge."

In the current era, the quality of Magic Power generated by the world itself far exceeded that of four hundred years ago, yet Magic hadn't developed further, and even many spells passed down over centuries weren't fully understood.

Roubaul first created "Myriad Phenomena," and later developed "Nirvana" based on this Magic. Converting light and darkness wasn't something one could do simply by wishing; knowledge and powerful Magic were both indispensable.

In short, Noah was very interested in the vast Magical knowledge Roubaul possessed.

Just the secret that the prototype of the "Demon of the Books of Zeref" came from the otherworldly "Black Abyss" was enough to shock the current Magic World.

Whether to satisfy his curious gossip or to learn more ancient secrets… Noah's thick skin immediately received a response from Roubaul. A phantom Magic light cluster, carrying knowledge and secrets, floated from Roubaul's hand toward Noah.

After a few flickers of light, the cluster dissipated. Noah quickly processed Roubaul's gift, but this wasn't the knowledge Noah desired, but rather a Magic.

The light cluster Roubaul gave Noah was actually a Magic called "Library," a higher-tier Magic than "Archive."

"Archive" could record knowledge or information collected by the user and share or implant it into other Mages, making it the most popular Magic among scholars and researchers.

As a higher-tier Magic than "Archive," "Library" was, as its name suggested, not only possessed the same functions as the former, but its collection of knowledge was enough to fill hundreds of "Archive" books.

Roubaul didn't directly give Noah what he wanted but instead taught him "Library," implying that it was better to find out what he wanted to know himself.

Noah looked at Roubaul gratefully. Before he could speak his thanks, a small head peeked out from the doorway.

"Guild Master Grandpa, big brother, and the guests, Auntie Chef says if you don't eat now, the food will get cold."

Looking at the cute yet somewhat timid Wendy, and the indifferent, tsundere white cat Carla, Noah knew that the so-called chef was just one of Roubaul's Thought Projections, a part of Roubaul's consciousness.

He understood what was about to happen.

Noah and Mystogan, knowing better, took the New Oración Seis and left, leaving the space for Roubaul and Wendy, the "grandfather" and "granddaughter."

In the simple room, with only the two people and one cat left, the atmosphere suddenly became somewhat heavy. Wendy vaguely sensed something, and Carla also felt uneasy.

"Guild Master Grandpa, what happened?"

Roubaul summoned the little girl and the white cat, gently stroking their heads. "Nothing, Wendy, Carla."

After Wendy and Carla sat beside him, Roubaul, with a kind expression, slowly began to tell them a story.

A Magic Guild built with love.

A short while later.

Intermittent sobs reached the ears of Noah and the others outside the house.

What should've been a lively "Cait Shelter" was now eerily quiet, with only Wendy and Carla's sorrowful cries clearly audible.

In the small village, all the other members who originally belonged to this "Cait Shelter" had vanished.

Noah understood that Roubaul had told Wendy and Carla the truth about "Cait Shelter."

"Companions they lived with for six years were all illusions. I wonder if that little girl can bear it…" Ultear looked toward the house from which the cries emanated, a hint of worry in her eyes.

Although Ultear was only in her early twenties, she'd adopted a little girl named Meredy, who was about the same age as Wendy, and thus couldn't help but feel emotional.

"Wendy will be fine."

Mystogan said with certainty, "Although the companions they lived with were all illusory Magic, Roubaul Senior's love for Wendy was real."

The world was fake, but the love was real.

Ultear, Jellal, and the others, for a moment, even felt a little envious of Wendy. Compared to the hell they'd endured, Wendy was undoubtedly a lucky and happy child.

The unconcealed envious gazes of those around him made Noah sigh silently.

Just like his brother Mystogan and Noah himself, although they were biological brothers born of the same parents, their life experiences were vastly different.

One was abandoned as a child, alone in a foreign land.

The other was showered with love and grew up happily.

Fate, alas, was so unfair and helpless… Wendy and Carla stumbled out of the house, one person and one cat looking dejected. Roubaul silently followed behind them, nodding at Noah.

Although Wendy was a bit timid, she was also a strong child.

Noah, understanding, squatted down and gently wiped away the tears from the little girl's and white cat's faces. "Wendy, Carla, Roubaul Senior has important things to do. You two come back to 'Fairy Tail' with me."

"I promise you, 'Fairy Tail' is the best Magic Guild in the world."
