Wind—a magical and ever-changing force of nature.

Differences in its speed create various wind strength levels.

A gentle breeze that brings a touch of coolness and comfort, a light wind that rustles leaves, a strong wind that bends tree branches and kicks up dust... When the wind speed surges further and becomes violent, it forms destructive gales and storms.

Going a step further, an extreme super typhoon can even bring about devastating "natural disasters" like massive tsunamis.

In this world of Magic, Mages who control the "wind element" have naturally come to understand the unconstrained changes in the form of "wind."

This leads to every wind Mage having a different "wind."

For example, Aria, the wind of the former Element Four—his Wind Magic mainly focused on harmless breezes, waiting for his opponent to relax their guard before delivering a fatal blow.

Erigor, known for his assassinations, preferred to use Magic to create visually stunning storms, satisfying his sense of superiority.

So, what would Noah's "wind" be like?

Perhaps the Guild Master of Oración Seis could provide the answer to this question.

Whirlwinds sharp as blades, dry and scorching fire-winds, waterspouts accompanied by heavy rain, chaotic and muddled sandstorms... The endless forms and diverse combinations of magical attributes made Zero suffer greatly.

Ever-changing—this is Noah's "wind."

A cyan storm wrapped around the white-haired youth, forming a spiral barrier. Darkness Magic was shredded the moment it touched the wind wall, and the lingering Magic refracted an eerie black-green light.

Noah stood in the sky, unmoving amidst the turbulent currents of colliding Magic.

He wanted to retract his earlier statement about ending the battle. Zero was much more resilient than he'd imagined.

After being tossed around in the sky by various wind spells for over ten minutes, Zero was still conscious, even occasionally managing to counterattack with a few spells.

In terms of physical strength, Noah believed Zero far surpassed Jose, who once held the title of Ten Wizard Saint. He truly lived up to his reputation as one of the three giants of the Dark Guilds—he certainly had some tricks up his sleeve.

"Tsk tsk, you're really tough to beat."

"When it comes to being a punching bag, I, Noah, declare you the strongest."

Noah's mocking voice was neither too loud nor too soft, but it clearly penetrated the Blade Storm, reaching the ears of Zero, who was struggling desperately within the storm.

Clearly, Zero's last desperate attack, fueled by all his Magic, still lost to Noah—otherwise, he wouldn't be toyed with like this.

With a ferocious expression, Zero gritted his teeth. He, who pursued destruction and ruin, had lost so miserably, and his hatred for the white-haired youth who wantonly humiliated him reached its peak.

But there was nothing he could do.

His Magic was exhausted, his body nearing its limit, and with his brain practically shaken into a pulp, Zero, carrying his helpless resentment and hatred, was engulfed by the storm, his consciousness gradually fading.

Wake up!

A loud shout startled Zero awake.

He suddenly found himself in a gray space, where a person he disdained was waiting for him with an expressionless face.

"Brain, you useless fellow. Are you trying to reclaim control of the body?"

Upon seeing his outer personality, Zero understood that this was his mental space. Only here could their two clashing personalities—the outer and inner—meet.

Facing the inner personality's still arrogant questioning, Brain shook his head and calmly said, "You've already lost. Even if a weak me takes back the body, it'd only be to suffer in your stead."

Without giving him a chance to get angry, Brain continued:

"It's time. Let's awaken the real 'us.'"

Brain's words surprised Zero. He hadn't expected the outer personality to be willing to merge with him.

Both Brain and Zero were actually personalities split from the original consciousness—neither of them was the true master.

Brain, the "outer personality," with a calm mind and a love for knowledge, had average magical talent and was mainly responsible for collecting various Magic spells.

While Zero, the "inner personality," who was keen on destruction and possessed extremely high magical talent, learned the Magic collected by the outer personality through shared memory, thereby strengthening his Magic Power.

The two personalities, one scholarly and one martial, should've supported each other to grow stronger. However, due to Zero's terrifying bloodthirsty nature, Brain felt fear and thus sealed him with the Magic Organic Link.

The loss of the inner personality's support meant that Brain, despite his extensive knowledge, struggled to unleash his full power due to insufficient magical talent.

And Zero, isolated by the seal, also suffered from a lack of practical experience, leaving him with immense Magic Power but pitifully little combat experience, leading to his crushing defeat at Noah's hands.

Now Brain wanted to reconcile with the inner personality, Zero, to awaken the true "self." Would he agree?

He absolutely would. He definitely would.

The crisis of life and death thawed the relationship between the two conflicting personalities.

Brain and Zero each extended their right hands and clasped them together.

In an instant, the two figures abruptly vanished. In the dim mental space, something terrifying awakened.

At the same time in reality, outside the Blade Storm.

Seeing that Zero had finally given in and fallen unconscious, Noah, who was about to stop his Magic, paused with his hand raised mid-air, looking at the storm with confusion.

He saw Zero, who'd been spinning in the wind like a tattered rag, suddenly open his crimson eyes. Along with him, Magic Power even stronger than before awakened.

Darkness flowed in reverse. With just a wave of his hand, that figure dispersed the Blade Storm that Zero had struggled so hard to escape.

Looking at those eyes—also crimson, but now devoid of savagery and only filled with calmness—Noah realized that neither Zero nor Brain had awakened.

"First an outer personality, Brain, then an inner personality, Zero , so which personality are you?"

Facing Noah's inquiry, the person merely spoke indifferently:

"I am the true owner of this body, the true creator of Oración Seis."

"The original—Zero."

Zero gave Noah a feeling of being far, far more powerful than Brain and Zero before. He was calm yet domineering, his aura restrained yet subtly sharp everywhere. This was truly how a Dark King should be.

However, one question puzzled Noah greatly.

In the previous battle, Zero had already exhausted his Magic and had little physical strength left. Since it was the same body, how did this Zero manage to make a full recovery?

Perceiving Noah's thoughts, Zero's expression remained cold. Five dark markings appeared sequentially on his face, continuously providing him with power.

Noah's face darkened. He recognized what those markings were—a Magic called Organic Link.

Earlier, Brain had six links on his face, but after he was defeated by Noah, the six markings disappeared, and then Zero appeared.

Noah initially thought Organic Link was Brain's way of sealing Zero, but now, with the five Magic markings appearing on Zero's face, Noah realized he was still too naive.

The seal was just an incidental ability of Organic Link.

The true effect of this Magic lay in the word "link."

Those linked would have their Magic, stamina, and even life force freely siphoned by the caster!

Only when they were completely drained of everything would the link truly be broken.
