Boom!
"Alert registered. Emergency detected: a building fire has broken out in Brooklyn, New York. Multiple civilians are reported trapped inside. Local fire units are en route, but the situation is escalating rapidly."
"Good morning to you too Karen." Caldeus replied, jumping out of bed. "How serious is the fire, and how long will it take me if I swing really fast?"
"The fire is extremely serious—FDNY responds to over 40,000 fire calls annually, and building fires often escalate within minutes, threatening lives and property. If you were swinging at high speed across New York, you could reach a Brooklyn fire from Manhattan in roughly 5–10 minutes depending on wind, building height, and route efficiency."
"Good to know." Caldeus said, already swinging. "What exactly started this fire Karen?"
Karen paused, hesitant.
"Karen?"
"Threat source identified. Otto Octavius is confirmed as the instigator of the Brooklyn fire. His attack pattern appears erratic, targeting structures without discernible strategy, which increases civilian risk and complicates emergency response. Local authorities are struggling to contain both the blaze and his movements.Would you like me to project his potential next strike zone based on current trajectory data?"
"What the hell? Octavius wouldn't do that!" He replied, though his voice didn't sound so sure.
He arrived at the scene and saw Otto attacking the city with his mechanical arms. He noticed that Otto wore a strange mask.
"Otto! What are you doing!" Spider yelled in anger, as he jumped towards Otto, his metal arms coming out of the pouch. Soon, a fierce battle began.
"Karen? Any useful info?"
"Observation logged. Otto Octavius's mechanical appendages are exhibiting erratic, uncontrolled behavior. Neural override instability is likely—his arms may be acting independently of his conscious commands. This loss of synchronization increases both the unpredictability of his attacks and the danger to civilians.Would you like me to analyze potential weak points in his mechanical arms to exploit during engagement?"
"So he's not in control. I see, but still I'm sorry Otto, I might have to hurt you a little."
He threw a punch, while his mechanical arms attacked Otto's. But Octavius' arms were stronger. Caldeus was grabbed and smashed into a building.
He noticed his that own robotic limbs were trying to end his life too.
"Arghh, Karen what the hell is going on!" Spiderman yelled, as his battle became tougher.
"System alert: Viral intrusion detected in mechanical arm subsystems. Defensive protocols have engaged—temporary shutdown is active to prevent further corruption. Core functions remain intact, but external appendages are offline until the threat is neutralized." Karen replied, and the mechanical arms retracted into the pouch.
Caldeus webbed one of Octavius' limbs to the other, and did same with the other two. He jumped to Otto's back and tried to rip out the arms, possibly forcefully disconnect them from the scientist. But the arms were smart, and they easily destroyed his webs. He was once again picked up, but this time he wasn't tossed, he was whacked on the ground repeatedly.
"Critical alert: Suit integrity compromised. Structural damage has reached extreme thresholds. Absolute Elimination Protocol is available but remains dormant. Confirm if you wish to authorize activation, or shall I maintain current safety locks?"
Spiderman's ignored her, as he grabbed the mechanical arm that held him.
With a loud yell, he smashed his arms on the mechanical limb, destroying it. The other three attacked but he caught both of them with his arms, ripped them off, and used them to destroy the last one. The mask fell from Otto's face, and he fell to his knees muttering some words.
"I'm sorry.....I didn't know...." He kept on whispering.
Spiderman walked towards him and helped him stand.
"Otto what happened?"
"It...it was Osborn. He hacked my arms and was controlling them." Otto explained.
Spiderman frowned.
So Osborn had decided to act from the shadows.
"Are you ok Otto?"
"No! I am Otto Octavius! I can't be used by some deranged infidel!" Otto suddenly yelled as he stood up. "Pick up the as and follow me." Otto said. Spiderman's frowned but he followed the instructions regardless.
He followed Otto to an abandoned warehouse where he saw that Otto had transformed it into a secret lair.
"Drop the arms over there." Otto pointed at a table, as he put on his googles.
"What are you going to do Otto?"
"Norman Osborn will pay."
"Seems we both have the same goal. Why don't we work together?"
"I thought we were already working together?" Otto asked, and they shook hands.

Days passed, and the trio—Peter, Caldeus, and Otto saved the city from enemies.
Peter walked down the street when his Spider sense tingled. He sucked and a little jack-o'-lantern flew passed him.

"This can't be good-"
Boom!
The symbiote enveloped him, protecting Peter from the explosion.
Peter frowned as he spat blood.
Fire.
That was the symbiote's only weakness. He quickly swung and rescued people from the now burning building.
He looked up and saw the Goblin, but before he could attack, Caldeus jumped out of nowhere like a blood thirsty beast, and pounced on the Goblin, pushing the villian from his glider.
Peter nodded at Caldeus and continued saving people.
More jack-o'-lanterns appeared causing even bigger explosions. Peter just jumped out of a burning building when he saw a bus with burning wheels. The driver had lost control and now it was heading straight towards some people. Peter lunged himself forward, multiple tentacles emerging from his back, as he landed on the bus. The tentacles dragged the passengers and the driver out of the bus, before he tossed the bus into the nearby river.
He was about to save another set of civilians when Caldeus showed up, assisting him.
"What are you doing here? What about the Goblin?"Peter asked.
"He escaped. Octavius is currently searching for him. Peter, follow my lead, Karen knows where there is danger."
"Caldeus I think the danger is everywhere!" Peter replied.
Peter was right. The city was terribly destroyed, with countless bombs still exploding.
"If I don't survive this, I need you to promise me that you'll continue being Spiderman." Peter suddenly spoke.
"Sure I will. I promise. And Peter, we are going to survive this."
Peter followed Caldeus as they saved as many people as they could. Otto helped the extremely, as he built an underground safe house, large enough to contain the city.
He proved why he was superior to everyone else.
So thanks to the technological and scientific wizard, the people they rescued got to a safe place.
Suddenly, a large monster burst out of the ground, roaring loudly.
"What the hell is that!" Caldeus yelled, extremely surprised.
"THAT is Dr Curtis Connors! But I defeated and cured him!" Peter replied.
The massive lizard monster let out a roar aa it charged at them.
"Otto are you seeing this!" Caldeus screamed dodging a car that was thrown at him.
"Gwen and I are working on a cure." Otto replied.
"Gwen's with you. That good, at least she's safe."
But Otto didn't respond.
"Otto?" Caldeus called out getting worried.
"Otto where is Gwen?"
"She.....is....at... Oscorp."
"OTTO OCTAVIUS WHY THE FUCK IS GWEN AT OSCORP!" Caldeus yelled, as his mechanical arms pinned the lizard to the ground, giving Peter the chance to land some deadly blows on it.
"That's the only place we can find a cure!"
"Why didn't YOU go!"
"I was busy preparing the underground safe house!"
Suddenly the lizard slammed Caldeus away, and grabbed Peter's head. He tossed Peter into the sky, and then ran away.
Peter pulled himself back to the ground, and the two heroes looked at each other.
"Is he running towards -"
"OSCORP!!!"
Caldeus swung forward really fast, the city became a blur.
"Vital signs analysis complete." Karen spoke out of the blue.
"I didn't ask for that."
"Elevated blood pressure confirmed. Suit diagnostics indicate severe structural compromise. Recommendation: decrease traversal velocity immediately to reduce strain and prevent catastrophic failure. Emergency stabilization protocols are on standby should you require reinforcement."
Caldeus didn't listen to Karen's warnings, and soon a snapping was heard, followed by a loud scream. Caldeus fell mid swing, but his mechanical arms jabbed a building, stopping his fall. He began jumping from building to building, waiting for his arm to heal. But he was impatient and he snapped his arm back into position and continued swinging.
He jumped and grabbed the lizard's neck just as it burst into Oscorp. They entered the exact lab Gwen was, and this caused her to panic.
"Gwen, get out of here!" Caldeus screamed as he webbed the lizard's neck, trying to pull it away from her.
Gwen didn't run, instead she continued working on the cure.
"Gwen! I said run! Fuck the cure, I'm going to permanently neutralise this lizard so go!" He screamed again, as he stabbed it's eyes with his mechanical arms.
The lizard screamed as it attacked violently and blindly. It successfully caught Caldeus and tossed him out of Oscorp.
"No!" Caldeus screamed as he shot webs to the mega tower, and like a catapult shot himself back inside. But that brief moment was all the lizard needed. Caldeus froze as he saw the lizard's claws raised, and Gwen dangling in this hand.
She was dead. Gwen Stacy was dead.
Caldeus didn't even scream, he didn't cry.
"Activate absolute elimination protocol."
"Absolute Elimination Protocol is a high-risk system designed for total threat neutralization. For safety, it remains locked until explicit override authorization is confirmed. Current status: dormant, awaiting your final clearance."
"Activate it."
"Final override authorization detected. Absolute Elimination Protocol is now fully engaged. All safety locks have been lifted. Target neutralization systems are primed and awaiting deployment. Collateral risk is elevated—proceed with caution."
Caldeus felt like thousands of needles were piercing his body. Suddenly, his muscles bugled and his mechanical grew longer, sharper, and bigger. The lizard charged towards him but he didn't panic. The raised his head, and the white eyes of his custume, turned red.
He jumped and punched the lizard, sending it down into the building. He followed until it finally landed.
Caldeus landed on its stomach, his mechanical arms stabbing it. He grabbed the lizard's head, and with a loud yell and a strong pull, he ripped off the lizards upper jaw, ending the life of the mutated reptile.
He exited Oscorp with Gwen in his arms.
He saw Otto saving people too, as more bombs exploded.
Otto burst into tears as he ran towards Caldeus. He knelt beside Gwen's body, which Caldeus had dropped gently.
Peter shook his head, and turned away, barely holding his tears. Suddenly a much more bigger explosion occurred behind them. It was Oscorp, the massive tower was falling. And for no good reason some screaming civilians were still under it.
